Like, they canonically fought water ghouls with their bare hands, regularly get into brawls with each other, have no concept of appropriate volume, hell they have a town down close to the worldly people with no height separation or massive stone walls or a comical amount of gold plating, if you didn’t know that they was a cult of martial sorcerers in that town you might just think “wow, wealthy trading family. The docks are nice!” and then just leave.

The son likes to pretend he’s sane but he’s such a chronic gossip that he probably needed an intervention, his sword was named after the three poisons, and he also spent 13 years thinking that his dead adopted brother would find a way to resurrect himself.

Fratricide Georg, who lives in Lotus Pier and has killed every demonic cultivator that could potentially be his brother for the past 13 years, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

Something about Liu Qingge and Jiang Cheng both carrying around physical objects of their loved ones so they can return it, but the Receiving never quite has the same impact as the Returning. LQG carrying around Shen Qingqiu's fans until he can take it back, except SQQ's already forgotten about it/gotten a new one and no longer has the same use for it. JC carrying suiban around on his back until he finds Wei Wuxian, except WWX can no longer use it. There is no real relevance for the object on the receiving end. Not anymore, at least. And it's very. Hmm.

i bet wei wuxian sees a lot of people in jin ling. i think he sees the arrogance and reluctance of jin zixuan in him and the way he swings his sword. i think he sees jiang yanli's kindness and earnestness in him. i think he sees jiang cheng's quickness to anger and little mannerisms in him because that was after all the man who helped raise him.

i think jiang cheng sometimes sees little traces of wei wuxian in jin ling, which doesnt make sense because he never met wei wuxian until he got resurrected and so maybe jiang cheng is seeing things, but on days when jin ling laughs or runs down the wooden platforms of lotus pier, picking lotus seeds from the water and going "jiujiu, look!" all he can see is his older brother doing the exact same things, laughing the same way and calling for his attention in the same way too "jiang cheng, a-cheng, look!"
