For the past two months I have been explaining the plot of TGCF (or as he calls it: "the gay man lore™") to a friend of mine. I have heavily condensed the plot and we are still not done. Though I would like to tell you all the alternate names he has come up with

Ying Jiao Yue (Season 2):

After encountering Bai He, Jiao Yue gets fond with her, making Bai He her first close friend. Though, things get a little tense when she meets the Six-Eared Macaque, who surprisingly knows Jiao Yue's secret (aka her being a senri & killing 5 people that night). Jiao Yue tries her best to stay away from the simian creature despite him constantly bugging her and trying to tease her about being a demon just like him. Soon, Jiao Yue starts to notice that Bai He has gone missing, putting her in a worried state. Desperate, Jiao Yue went to MK to search for the missing girl, completely unaware that Bai He is now possessed by LBD, who is MK's soon-to-be enemy.

Soon, Jiao Yue and MK became friends and since Sun Wukong left MK to attend "business", MK and Jiao Yue would train together. Not to long after, MK finds out Jiao Yue's true form. Though, instead of MK discriminating Jiao Yue, he said it didn't matter what she was since she's now a friend to him. MK may knew Jiao Yue's tiny secret, but not her deep one (MK only knows Jiao Yue is a Senri, but doesn't know she hunts human souls nor killed those 5 people). In the end, Jiao Yue also soon finds out Bai He gets possessed by LBD and is now worried and constantly thinking how to save Bai He.

Li Qiū Zi:

Qiū Zi is a descendant of the Bakunawa, the Dragon of the Philippines sea, also known as the moon eater. Though she was never allowed to express the dragon side of hers due to her father's hatred towards all demons and yao. Resulting to her coming from a neglectful/abusive household.

By the time she turned ten, Qiū Zi was cursed and became the next vessel for the shadow powers of a banished lord. She met macaque afterwards and became his student in order to keep her powers in control. Now at 14 (S4) she has managed to do so and is somewhat able to keep them at bay

Her main weapon is the shadow staff, similar to Macaque's. And she also wields the whip and is a master at it.

Immortal Samsara is in my top 5 favorite dramas of all time and it's because Cheng Yi and his acting. He made me think he was ACTUALLY in love with her. He was so passionate and hot.

Dou Ming was so innocent and naïve, and her whole life was so miserable. She deserved so much better. All the more reason why Wei Ting Yu needs to die. Wang Ying Xue as well.

Immortal Samsara makes an interesting point for the saying "love is the death of duty". Because Love and Duty are heavily interwoven in this show for the stakes of said duty are so high that love cannot exists without fulfilling it. Sovereign Lord Ying Yuan out of commission = heavenly realm on the edge of breakdown should any crisis occur whatsoever. The parents arc mirrors that too. Had his mother Ran Qing not decided to fulfil her duty Xuan Ye wouldn't be stopped like ever because clearly this family is the only one of any real influence over the entire world. Poor unfortunate souls really. 😆

So Ran Qing might actually have a point in forbidding love because with stakes like these it can lead to catastrophic deeds - it DID for a whole bunch of futures where Xuan Ye won. But Ying Yuan is also right for undoing that because Love is also what can make you the happiest you have ever been. What was his immortality even worth considering the listless life he lived before Yan Dan? Which also stands in contrast to his father who wanted immortality beyond everything else. But the love he held for Ran Qing made him happiest in the end because a world where he won and she died was also not worth living in.

Most of the people in my life are dead, so that makes age a little tricky to figure out. If you count the age that they died, there have been some of my dad's henchghosts that I liked playing games and chatting with

I think Scrap Gege was hoping I'd make friends with Lang Ying. He was a little older than me when he died. I don't get along well with him, though. We don't have much to relate to each other with. Scrap Gege said to be patient with him because he used to live in the woods and might not have got socialized right. He is really serious and quiet all the time--can he really be my friend if I don't know anything about him? I hope it doesn't make me a bad person to think so, but he feels more like an obligation than a friend.

Other than that, ummm... I like Ruoye! He's a ribbon, and probably doesn't have an age, but sometimes seems like a kid to me!

I don't have any living human friends my age. I make friends with animals sometimes, though, and I have no clue how old some of them are.

Before Qi Rong adopted me, I had a couple of friends that were the kids of other stonecutters. Maybe I'll see them again one day.
