We can get so caught up in the cold weather and changing leaves, which are some of life's greatest pleasures. But let us not forget that October is breast cancer awareness month.
Cancer in general is something that can take over your entire life. You don't even have to be the one who is fighting the battle. When someone you love is diagnosed with cancer, your life changes.
They say that addiction is something called a family disease. This phrase does not mean that addiction runs in the family, but it means it is a disease that can influence and impact all of the inner workings of family dynamics. The same can be said about breast cancer.
Of course, you can see the lows that come with cancer, but you can also see the strength and resilience that comes with being a being a fighter and survivor. Being of support to those battling breast cancer likely means more to them than you realize. Send them the dinners, the door dash gift cards, hire someone to come clean their home, put together a self care basket, etc. These are some ways we can help cancer warriors. Most importantly, tell them you love them!
I want to emphasize the importance of understanding the basics of breast cancer! I am not a doctor, but I am an advocate.
Did you know that 49% of women without insurance went into care with no coverage or delayed getting care? That is nearly half of women with a breast cancer diagnosis. And that does not even include men who have had a breast cancer diagnosis. (Yes, men can get breast cancer too)
INSURANCE IS A BASIC NECESSITY. WE ALL DESERVE ACCESS TO LIFE SAVING CARE. EARLY INTERVENTION IS LIVE SAVING.
I'll say it once, and I'll say it again: I would rather pay a little bit more in taxes if that means every woman, man, and child has access to health care.
We deserve access to quality health care, but also EQUITABLE health care. Breast cancer death rates are 40% higher for woman of color. We cannot continue to let black women and POC to fall through the broken cracks of our healthcare system.
***If you know a doctor that actually listens to you, tell everyone about them. I'm serious- you never know who's life this can save, given medical professionals do not take women seriously.***
Some things we can do to try and prevent breast cancer:
-Limit alcohol intake
-Avoid smoking
-Exercise regularly
-Drink more water and balanced diet
(All of these things are the things doctors throw at you when something is wrong, but won't take you seriously. Please do not take this is the solution, but please understand this has the potential to prevent breast cancer, and really any kind of cancer)
-Learn your family's history. If you can't find information about your family history, genetic testing can help here. (I'm going to link info down below)
-Get your mammogram screenings regularly (They say this should start in your 40's. If you have a family history, try to start by age 30.)
If you or someone you know needs assistance in finding resources to help access things like mammograms or genetic testing, please use this search engine below. By inputting your zip code, 211.org will give you numerous resources that can help. You can use this for anything- food, clothing, shelter, mental health care, etc.
Here is some information on where to find breast cancer support groups:
SELF EXAMS!!!
I've heard many stories on how self-exams have saved lives:
youtube
I can sit here and talk about how cancer can impact families (because that is something I have experienced), but I want to highlight stories from breast cancer survivors/ those battling breast cancer.

Here are the links to donation platforms. If you can donate, please do. Every dollar counts as we fight for a cure:
I know that cancer can make us feel helpless. It is hard and uncomfortable to know how to help those struggling. It is okay and normal to feel this way and you are not alone. Here is some information on how you can help cancer fighters:

As of today I've officially read every post in the transandrophobia tag for an entire year--in addition to running a discord server on the topic for six months--so I feel I have some amount of insight into the term and the little community we seem to have been building around it.
I've seen people stumbling into the discussion and having their mental health immediately wrecked, so I want to share a few quick and basic reminders/lessons I needed to hear a year ago.
You're not a transmisogynist for using the word transandrophobia. You're not an MRA or a TERF either and it's messed up to call you those things. I used to question myself constantly about these things, but I've also now spent hours looking at what real MRAs and TERFs believe and it is nowhere near my beliefs.
You're allowed to take up space. In physical spaces of course--your presence isn't a threat just because you're a man/masc--but also in discussions of feminism and transphobia. It isn't talking over women to share your experiences as a trans person. You experience gendered oppression and it's okay to talk about it.
People lie about us constantly. I'm always hearing things like we think trans women oppress us or so and so in the discussion said something transmisogynistic; do not take these claims at face value, look into them yourself or ask someone who has done so.
Stereotyping us is bigotry plain and simple. That includes considering us more aggressive, annoying, self-centered, toxic, attention-seeking, and misogynistic compared to other groups.
Sexism can very much target men and mascs. If you've been defining transandrophobia as solely an intersection of transphobia and misogyny, I implore you to just look up sexism to see how it can affect nonnormative men. I can give examples.
We have allies! When I found the discussion and saw the vitriol and violent threats directed at us I felt hopeless and alone, but now I know there are plenty of trans women and fems who support me having language. You'll find your people.
I have more to say and I'd be happy to talk to anyone new to the discussion, just reach out.
#and one last piece of advice: don't read every post in the transandrophobia tag for an entire year lol it's bad for you#hope this doesn't come off too self-centered--I'm no authority I just remember how I felt back then & thought some folks could use this#transandrophobia#mine#long post

Astro observations🤍🦢
Not a real astrologer just my observations:)TW🔞
I noticed in 10th house Synastry house person could feel like planet person is shallow if you know them irl or it could be difficult to build a deeper connection w them but if it’s a celeb/far distance person you feel like you know them better than most people 💀 esp if it’s in a water sign notice me jungkook 💜
I’ve noticed people with outer planets in the 1st have shocking resemblance to their ancestors
Capricorn placements don’t get enough recognition for how many hidden gifts/ talented they are. I feel like people forget that they’re half goat/fish so their creativity can go overlooked(wow what a surprise). Wherever Capricorn/ Saturn is in you chart is where your hidden talents are, where you tend to feel shunned from/your biggest obstacles in life, where people try to belittle you because they see your potential. But once you realize your potential and work on it consistently you can become oh so powerful.
6th:their work ethic, natural healers, could be accused of being lazy, having haters at work, animals love them but they could’ve have bad experiences with them in the past, having good health/nice body if you’re persistent
3rd: being discouraged by your peers/teachers/family because of your communication skills, could do really well in later school years and also could be popular, feeling like your pov is never taken into thought, they could have been the child that was the most problematic but also the one that holds the family together like glue
12th: they sometimes could feel like a shadow also could see shadows💀 strong intuition without knowing it, people could spread lies behind ur back, another healer placement, you know other peoples fantasies & secrets bc of insights you get via dreams, your “gifts” could come later in life, having lots of hidden talents/info that you learn about yourself as you get older, definition of old souls
Also I’ve noticed Capricorn placements (esp fems) have strong intuition especially in tough situations they’re definitely the ones you go to for advice
My Capricorn stellium coworker said she basically worked all way till her due date with all her kids😳 but her last one almost came WHILE on the clock😭😭 like you need to rest mamas
Prominent Aries with a sprinkle of Neptune energy LOVE BLUSH and if you don’t please try it out you’d look so good😩and don’t be scared to experiment when it comes to makeup RAMS are meant to be BOLD example
Having a crush on someone you have 11th house synastry especially mars or sun is so hard😭😭😭 it’s so hard to get them to see you as other than a friend 😕 not impossible tho😈
Libra moon masc tend to have heavy karma when it comes to women esp family members, could go either way but most of the time they’re the ones getting hurt by the fem
Have y’all noticed some older Scorpio suns still dress like they’re in 2013? Which isn’t surprising since that was around the time millennials (Scorpio Pluto gen) were thriving
Saturn in 4th, I’ve noticed that they’ve had to deal with restrictions at a young age either it be emotional or material especially when it comes to food I now people with this placement that were fatshamed by their family members
Sun in 12/6 could have absent fathers in different ways
6th:he could be incarcerated, a workaholic, could’ve been ill, could be in the army
12th: also could be incarcerated, you probably don’t know who your father is or never met him, he could have passed, could be obsessed with finding him/absolutely no interest at all, could have a dr*ug addiction
Sorry not sorry but Saturn in the 5th natals are so boring😴true definition of squares have some fun once and awhile they’re all work no play
A pair I love to see is Virgo with Aquarius/Capricorn it’s either VERY toxic or they have cutest relationship ever😭
Venus In 10th synastry, they could see each other as the best looking partner that they’ve ever had
I noticed I tend to have 3rd/4th house synastry with my pets, but the ones I have to give away have planets in my outer house
That’s all for now don’t forget to like and follow🩶

Solar Return - Planets
Solar return charts are a powerful tool in predictive astrology, offering insights for the upcoming year. Unlike your natal chart, which remains constant throughout your life, the solar return chart is only relevant for one year. This temporary nature means the interpretation of planets in your solar return will differ from what you’re used to in your natal chart. To make the most of your solar return chart, it’s crucial to understand the specific roles of each planet within this context. The planets reveal 'what' events or themes may unfold, while their house placements show 'where' they will manifest, and their signs indicate 'how' these energies will express themselves. Wherever the Sun is positioned in your solar return chart, it highlights the area of life that will take center stage for you in the coming year. Just as the Sun is the primary focus in your natal chart, it plays a similarly crucial role in your solar return chart. You’ll be naturally drawn to activities related to the house the Sun occupies, as this is where your priorities and interests will lie throughout the solar return year. However, this attention may not be entirely voluntary—this area of life will actively demand your focus. The Sun illuminates where you need to take action, urging you to address the issues it highlights in your chart. It can also point to a domain where you need to assert your authority or take on more responsibility, depending on the house it occupies.
The Moon in your solar return chart, like in your natal chart, reflects your emotional responses and needs. However, in the solar return chart, it highlights where you’ll feel most at ease throughout the year. This could be a physical place tied to emotional matters, as the Moon governs the home, family, and deep emotional security. This influence may require you to navigate a range of emotions, sometimes leading to situations that are challenging to handle. The Moon’s placement can also suggest potential issues with women, such as conflicts with maternal figures, concerns related to motherhood, or matters involving reproductive health and nutrition. These themes will be linked to the house where the Moon is located in your solar return chart. It may also signal a need to pay extra attention to your safety and security in the areas of life indicated by this house.
In your solar return chart, Mercury represents your thought processes and mental state. Wherever Mercury is placed, you’ll be focused on activities related to that house throughout the year, often finding yourself talking and writing about those topics. Mercury’s position reveals how your perceptions are influenced by the matters of the house it occupies, shaping your mental outlook for the year ahead. How your thoughts, ideas, and mindset connect to other areas of your life, including your actions and emotions, will depend on the aspects Mercury forms with other planets. As the planet of communication and connection, Mercury's influence will also be expressed according to the sign it occupies.
Venus, the beloved planet of love and attraction, holds a special place in astrology. However, in your solar return chart, Venus’s influence extends beyond romance. She also governs money and values, embodying a materialistic aspect as well. In this chart, Venus highlights areas of your life where you may seek improvement—whether it’s enhancing beauty, increasing wealth, or aligning with your personal values. She indicates where you’ll find joy and enjoyment, often linked to spending money on things that bring you pleasure. Throughout the solar return year, Venus reveals where you’ll experience happiness, indulge, and potentially attract love and affection into your life.
Your solar return Mars is all about taking action. Wherever Mars is positioned in your chart, you’ll feel a strong drive to get moving and make progress in that area of your life. If things don’t go as planned, you may find yourself becoming frustrated and quick to anger. Mars urges you to dive headfirst into whatever tasks or challenges are indicated by its house placement, whether they are physical or mental. For Mars, the key is not to overthink but to take immediate action. This planet can also indicate where you’re most likely to feel impatient or lose your temper throughout the year, especially if you’re not channeling its energy effectively. The message from Mars is clear: focus your efforts on the area it highlights, and take decisive steps to tackle what needs to be done.
In your solar return chart, Jupiter is often welcomed warmly into the house it occupies, as it is seen as the bringer of good fortune. Known for bringing opportunities, wealth (in all its forms), and an infectious optimism, Jupiter’s presence is typically associated with growth and positivity. But is this sense of joy always warranted? It’s possible to have too much of a good thing, and Jupiter is just as famous for its tendencies towards excess. Over-optimism, enthusiasm, and indulgence are just as characteristic of Jupiter as the desire to explore new horizons, which you might feel drawn to do during the year. This could manifest as long-distance travel or venturing beyond your usual experiences. Jupiter’s influence might also inspire intellectual exploration, as it is associated with academia. You may find yourself pursuing further education or taking courses to expand your skills and enhance your career prospects. Saturn’s placement in your solar return chart signals the area of your life where hard work and discipline will be required. His role is to remind you to be realistic, showing you where you could achieve more if you put in greater effort and kept a level head. Saturn encourages you to cultivate patience, responsibility, and a grounded outlook. The situations linked to Saturn’s presence will likely demand this mature approach from you. It’s common to encounter responsibilities or frustrations in this house, as things may not go as smoothly as you’d like. This can lead to feelings of restriction or obligation, typical of Saturn’s influence. You may also face issues related to age and time, such as challenges with time management, confronting the aging process, or even reflecting on the concept of mortality itself.
Neptune thrives in the realm of symbolism and imagination, and in your solar return chart, this influence becomes especially prominent. However, this doesn’t always translate to clear thinking or communication. Neptune tends to blur the lines, making it easy to overlook or misunderstand the matters associated with the house it occupies. Its subtle influence can lead to confusion or misinterpretation, as Neptune rarely presents things in an obvious way. This year, you may find yourself—or someone close to you—dealing with issues related to escapism or addiction, as Neptune blurs boundaries and affects those around you. It highlights areas where you may not be seeing things as clearly as you should, leading to misunderstandings, misplaced perceptions, or even lost items—whether it’s your emotions or your house keys. Neptune urges you to stay grounded and mindful of its elusive nature.
Wherever Uranus appears in your solar return chart, expect the unexpected. Known for bringing sudden, radical change, Uranus isn’t interested in minor adjustments—it’s about shaking up the status quo in a big way. The form this change takes doesn’t matter to Uranus; what’s important is that it disrupts the established order. These shifts are almost always surprising and often happen quickly, which can feel unsettling or even alarming. However, take comfort in knowing that Uranus is here to break you free from any ruts associated with the house it occupies during the year, urging you to embrace new possibilities.
In your solar return chart, Pluto signifies the need to let go of something, whether it’s a situation, belief, or even a part of yourself, as it symbolizes a deep and irreversible transformation. Pluto’s presence indicates that you are being called to release what no longer serves you, making room for renewal. The house Pluto occupies shows where this transformative process will unfold. It might ask you to reclaim your power in an area where you’ve felt powerless, or it could push you to face your deepest fears and surrender control, experiencing a profound loss that ultimately leads to personal growth. This is why Pluto is often associated with some of life’s most challenging and painful experiences, and you may be confronted with such a transformative challenge wherever Pluto is positioned in your solar return chart.

hi! last anon here again. i won't go over all your advice here, and there's some i disagree with, but i have found it helpful and insightful as a whole, so thank you. i don't know if you actually wanted clarification on these things, but i figured it would be worth providing in case you genuinely wanted it.
straps as female disidentification - i do see it as different from other sex aids; it's partially about not imposing man/woman sex dynamics on sex between women, and also that as part of recovering from trans identity i've been encouraged to disengage with any practices, thoughts, or self-beliefs that represent false consciousness/male identification, and that includes a desire to have a penis/penetrate women/take the male role, and replace that with meditation and mindfulness. unfortunately i suck at meditation so i haven't gotten anywhere. i see it more as a behavioural problem than an object problem; it's unhealthy because it's a maladaptive coping mechanism about reality; i don't have a penis and can never have one and pretending i do during intimacy is hurting a theoretical sex partner.
female infantilization - this is about the bush thing; attraction to shaved vulvas is dysfunctional and unnatural.
being put off women's bodies - again this is a dysphoria thing mostly. i like how pretty much all women's bodies look, particularly femmes, and before radfem stuff i mostly just felt horny seeing nude women, but being in an environment that's very focused on the importance of reproductive organs and secondary sex characteristics to female identity has involuntarily caused me to fixate on this; when i see a woman naked i end up thinking about her uterus and the size of her breasts and her hips in relation to passing; i know that things like testosterone/hysterectomies/double masectomies/binding are really unhealthy for you physically and psychologically now, so seeing a woman's body makes me uncomfortable now because i just feel a kind of despair that if she has big breasts or big hips she'll never be able to pass for male without hurting herself and if she has small breasts or hips she got lucky with natural androgyny and she's wasting it, either way neither her or me have any way out of this and we're female forever. which is not very arousing.
once again, thank you for your advice. it's definitely given me a lot to think about (and read). i appreciate you hearing me out.
I'm actually stoked for a response, because these clarifications are very illuminating and genuinely so saddening to read.
that entire paragraph about disavowing the strap is genuinely tragic to me, as an advocate that people should just fuck however they want to fuck. you'd think if womanhood was such an innate and unchangeable thing then a fake dong wouldn't have the power to somehow impose manhood in a relationship between women, but I guess the strap is more powerful than I realized. I would love to know if this applies to fingering, given that you can't really argue that fingers are specific to any gender, or women who use straps to peg their male partners.
being told to meditate instead of want to fuck women is so funny, it's really giving 15th century nunnery.
you may not have been born with a penis but it is just literally a factual reality that you could have on if you wanted; regardless of what radfems think of it, phalloplasty is a very real surgery that can in fact produce a sexually functional penis that many people are extremely satisfied with.
okay sure super normal to fixate on someone's uterus.
I do actually very seriously need to correct this part: testosterone/hysterectomies/double mastectomies/binding are not unhealthy. they're healthcare, and the people who benefit from them - which, reminder, is not only trans people - tend to experience tremendous boosts to their physical and mental health because of it. there's nothing radical at all about opposing people's rights to determine what they do with their own bodies, and between that and the hyperfixation on reproductive organs you sound /this/ close to explaining why women shouldn't be allowed to get abortions.
in the politest way possible if looking at women makes you sad because it reminds you of your own dysphoria, you need to get out of radfem spaces and start hanging with some trans people who can help you figure some stuff out and help you envision a future where you don't fear your own body and sexuality.

I read a few but I am kinda soft for the idea of System!SY but like a player in a Video game.
Specifically I am thinking of the game Off! Where the player is their own entity the character it kinda aware of.
So SY dies and wakes up when Binghe lands in the abyss. He is given the objective to help Binghe out of the Abyss and steer him towards the best ending!!!
SY is excited because he!!! Gets to help Binghe!!
Binghe is pissed his seal came off and now he is being ordered around by some green spirit. His powers are still sealed and slowly being released by said kinda annoying ghost.
The worst part other then the Ghost being overly excited to be in Hell and seemed to be too elated about one of the worst fucking moments of his life-
The Ghost is actually fucking helpful. ‘Shen Yuan’ (what a fucking joke to give him a ‘Shen’ as a guide) knows more about monsters and their weaknesses, has an idea on what is edible what isn’t, he knows what plants to avoid, what areas are safe- and he also seems to genuinely want to keep him safe.
SY has a the video game advantage of either knowing when attacks are coming or knowing how heavy an attack will be. He also knows what Binghe can do at anytime/is controlling the attacks to some extent- either pokemon style or like the game OFF! Where is auto attacks or manual where Binghe can’t attack unless SY! Chooses.
For the first little bit Binghe resists or does the opposite where SY directs him only to- shockingly- get hit.
So I feel like for the longest time they were just at odds and bickering before SY puts it on auto and just plays it like a turn based game. Like for him sometimes time is slower except for Binghe, so he has faster reactions and honestly is more in canon with the “protagonist halo”. Where he can spend points and has his own little influence if things are dire otherwise he is more or less following his favorite protagonist through the story.
And Being such a big Binghe fan he is more than happy to just Let Binghe have the power only taking control when things look dire. He is the biggest hype man, offering information and support, offering insight or knowledge only him as a strange green figment that only Binghe can see.
He vanishes when Binghe flirts with women though. He goes off and explores or watches monsters, he hated this aspect of the book and if Binghe wants then he should- he only gets protective and sticks around if he feels like Binghe is getting taken advantage of- (though the first few times Binghe snapped at him and told him to scram- so he did in his own pissy fit) they go right back to Bickering but fuck SY still cares and he kinda likes how he can see this part of Binghe’s story.
They can’t go far from each other (I am thinking about as far as camera can scroll out) but SY can turn off audio and stuff on his side.
Though eventually Binghe just starts to trust SY. If SY says right he is moving right, if SY says between the eyes his sword is inbetween their eyes, if SY says run and hide he vanishes from the field. Because for all the bitching, raging and ranting- Binghe does notice a lot is on his sake.
And you know…. In the Abyss he isn’t alone. He isn’t figuring this shit out by himself he has someone who floats next to him asking what he wants to improve. Attack? Speed? Health? He has someone that he can mentally connect with and they just both viciously attack low IQ villian and plots where only they can hear.
The angst that the only person to interact with SY is Binghe. Who he can’t hold when Binghe has nightmares, who he can only heal if he has the resources and to produce medicine/fast heal, but is also the only person who sees and hears SY. So if he is ignoring SY- SY is alone- and I think deep down he is a social person. Binghe is subjected to a flood of questions SY wants to ask.
And Binghe has one person who cares about him and is always at his side (even forced SY never implies he feels forced in fact he seems always excited to be next to Binghe)- and Binghe can’t touch him, can’t feed him (‘I would love to try your food- but I can’t.’), can’t cherish him.
SY who is nice, who is considerate, compassionate, he cursed like he lives in a brothel and rages like a demon- but he also scolds Binghe for ignoring people, he snaps when Binghe doesn’t actually help- just takes what he wants and leaves, he believes Binghe is so much better for the world if he only got over himself and stopped thinking with his rage and anger. He thinks Binghe is smart, he thinks Binghe is strong, he thinks even half demon- Binghe is meant to be good.
What a kick in the stomach.
They can’t touch but Shen Yuan is trying his fucking best to get Binghe through hell. He apologizes for bad calls, he gets better himself, he takes his hands off the reigns but I think there are times he can’t help it. They fight, they talk, they are together.
Shen Yuan always loves Binghe and maybe he still ends up a little blackened but Binghe is quietly determined to make SY corporal. Pull him from that control panel and somewhere Binghe can hold him close. Maybe tuck him away in a nice little cottage where there is a little farm and greenhouse with all the plants SY can tend to, bookshelves filled to the brim with books and stories, in a place where SY can see all sorts of creatures to his hearts content.
The “Video Game” character being protective of their “player”
SY being a rage gamer also is so funny to me, Binghe is the only one he hears the absolute filth and insults SY throws at their enemies and frankly he either repeats it or relents that he isn’t as creative.
Binghe maybe not aware of his protagonist halo but aware of the little green ghost who can just barely manipulate the world if Binghe is in enough trouble. Shen Yuan being the only one who gets quests and updates of things Binghe needs to do and being limited on what he can tell Binghe.
The soft apologies when SY can’t control where they go or what happens can only help Binghe respond.
This is long and I am still pulling thoughts but I am slowly getting brain rot
#svsss#shen quingqiu#luo binghe#bingqui#binggeyuan#Binghe is still a fuck boy he just has to deal with a pouty 21st century nerd#he does no wrong in SY’s eyes but SY still calls him out when he is being an asshole#he is the only one not scared of Binghe#Binghe can be the biggest asshole and SY is just as big of an asshole back#Binghe can’t touch him and he is kinda the source of Binghe’s power#idk I am cooking

Aspects:
Jupiter Conjunction: When Jupiter is conjunct (close to) another planet, its energy merges, amplifying the qualities of that planet. This can bring heightened opportunities, growth, and luck related to the specific planet's traits. For example, a Jupiter-Sun conjunction can enhance your self-confidence and attract positive experiences into your life.
Jupiter Sextile or Trine: Harmonious aspects between Jupiter and other planets indicate ease in harnessing Jupiter's blessings. These aspects encourage positive growth, expansion, and the ability to seize opportunities with relative ease. A Jupiter-Moon trine may enhance your emotional well-being and bring support from family or women.
Jupiter Square or Opposition: Challenging aspects between Jupiter and other planets may require extra effort to tap into its positive energy. These aspects can bring growth through overcoming obstacles and learning valuable lessons. A Jupiter-Mercury square might indicate a need to balance optimism with practicality in communication and decision-making.
Jupiter and Outer Planets: Aspects with outer planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) can signify transformative and profound experiences. A Jupiter-Neptune trine could enhance your spiritual journey and creative pursuits, while a Jupiter-Pluto opposition may involve intense personal growth through confronting power dynamics.
Multiple Aspects: When Jupiter forms multiple aspects, its influence becomes multi-faceted. A Jupiter with a mix of harmonious and challenging aspects can create a balanced interplay of growth, challenges, and opportunities.
Remember, Jupiter's influence is unique to your birth chart. The aspects it forms with other planets provide a dynamic interplay that shapes your life journey. Consult an astrologer to gain deeper insights into how Jupiter's energy interacts with the rest of your chart and discover the keys to unlocking its full potential. Embrace Jupiter's blessings and navigate your path to prosperity! 🌈🔑

Spencer Reid x she/her!reader
A/N: this song is so post-prison reid coded, it was only a matter of time.
Shameless
The tension had been instantaneous, from the very moment you first met him. It was no more than a passing glance across the office to begin with, but you have been proud of the double take you caused Doctor Spencer Reid, ever since.
Emily Prentiss had been giving you a tour of the BAU offices on your first day; you had been listening to her intently, making as many mental notes as you could to avoid having to ask where things were and embarrass yourself further than you already feared you would, joining a team of seasoned profilers. When your gaze met the glance that had originally been absentminded, but was heated when it returned to you, all words lost their meaning. Hazel was the only colour you could recall the existence of for the next few minutes.
The tour of the offices continued, and you tried your best to keep your eyes to yourself, but there was a near gravitational pull to the attractive gentleman who you suddenly had a sixth sense for, acutely aware of just how far away he was at all times, until the very moment you were introduced.
“And this is Doctor Spencer Reid.” Emily had introduced you, exchanging a smile with him that told you the two of them were good friends.
“Pleasure to meet you…?” Spencer held his hand out to shake yours, a smile curling at the corner of his mouth when you looked up at him, your eyes widening ever so slightly on being close enough to appreciate his full height, his wild curls, and your new favorite color.
“(Y/N).” You had answered, meeting his hand with yours, an electricity passing through you that was unlike anything else you’d ever felt, from such simple contact.
The way his much larger hand squeezed yours, how gently he shook your hand, and the slightest twitch in his smile; you knew that he felt it, too.
“Pleasure to meet you, (Y/N).” Spencer reiterated, tasting your name for the first time and deciding there was no other name he liked the flavor of more. Your name swirled around his brain like whiskey in a glass that he nursed for a little too long, savoring each sip like the finest critic, not missing a single note of you.
From that moment, everything Spencer did exacerbated your situation. Naturally, you went out of your way to avoid talking to him; any close proximity was a risk to your health, but that didn’t matter. The way he stood, the way he sat, walked, leaned, frowned, smiled, breathed - it was all too much for you. What did he expect? You are just a girl with hormones that you are certain he could sniff out from a mile away, given the look you’d see in his eyes during instances where you caught him staring at you. Or rather, instances in which Spencer’s gaze deliberately lingered long enough for you to notice.
He was a quiet man, and an observant one. A seasoned profiler, yes, but his time in prison had given him a fresh insight to people, particularly their primal instincts. Survival had been a focus of his during his time behind bars, but it seemed that living in that wild mindset had tuned him into other primal instincts, too. While Spencer had no scientific evidence to support his theory, he was certain he could hear your heart rate pick up whenever he passed you.
Having never felt like someone that women fawned over, Spencer took great pride in your attraction to him that was so obvious even he could not deny it. He almost felt cruel, impacting you to such an extent, but he came to find that this was the conclusion no matter what he did; it was simply a result of him, to you.
The tension between you thrives during cases where the two of you are forced to work together. Spencer has even been known to volunteer to assist you when you are set specific tasks, and you have always been too flustered to politely dismiss him. Conversations between you are minimal, mainly spent with Spencer smiling to himself and you avoiding looking in his general direction; an experience you’d wager to be more painful than pulling teeth.
Of course, when working together, you do have to talk to him on occasion, but everything feels far too charged. The subtext is blinding to both of you, even in small talk.
“Good morning, (Y/N).” Spencer greeted you when you had arrived to the office this morning, not long after him. He was still unpacking his bag, leaning over his desk in a way that made you want to scream, and you couldn’t even consider the smile he gave you as he looked over his shoulder.
His greeting was as generic as it always was, but the subtext told you more.
I’m pleased to see you.
“Morning, Spencer.” You had answered, smiling at him in turn, but your breath caught in your throat, making your subtext just as obvious as his.
I’m pleased to see you, too.
In a moment of self-awareness like you’d never known, you and Spencer simultaneously acknowledged that there was nobody else in the office. At the same time as your eyes widened with the realisation, Spencer’s gaze softened, settling on you.
“Did you sleep well?” He asked, his voice quieter, more tentative - another object of small talk that you understood loud and clear.
Did I cross your mind last night?
“Yeah, thanks. Did you?” You returned the question, words casual but voice rising in pitch steadily, something a profiler couldn’t possibly miss.
Of course. Did you think of me?
“Yes, thank you. I tend to be quite lucky, in that regard.” He paused, letting his words sink in before he added, “I don’t struggle with sleep as much as I used to, when I was young.”
As Spencer spoke, you noticed he was slowly walking towards you, crossing the small amount of space between his desk and yours in no more than three paces. He stood purposely close to you, leaning against your desk as your shaking hands continued to unpack your things from your bag. He could hear your sharp intakes of breath, and he couldn’t wipe the grin from his face.
A notepad fell from your trembling hand as you retrieved it from your bag, a soft thud against the table. With only half a second’s delay, you put your hand on it, intending to pick it up, but finding Spencer’s hand was already there, acting as a barrier but applying no pressure in holding your notepad against the desk, no resistance, because he didn’t need to apply that to you. Centimeters separated your fingers and his, tiny bolts of lightning sparking in the space between.
Eyes wide like a deer in headlights, you lifted your head to find him already smiling down at you, exuding charm and another sensation rolling off of him in waves that you dared not clarify.
Silence.
Seconds.
You couldn’t even breathe.
And then the elevator doors opened, the rest of the team beginning to file in for the day, and Spencer broke eye contact to look over at the office entrance. He noticed the deep breath that you took the moment he looked away, of course. As he walked over to the rest of the team, he took the chance to drag his fingers across the small of your back when he passed behind you; a deliberate act of sabotage. Had it been anyone else, that touch had been so light you’d be surprised if you even registered it, but from Spencer? Your senses were heightened like that of a small animal in a clearing, face to face with a creature that wanted to eat you alive.
It is completely unsurprising that you have failed to recover from the events of this morning, which have been replaying in your subconscious for the entire day while you have filed case reports. What would usually be a welcomed distraction has, today, been nothing short of a curse. To make matters worse, you have felt his gaze on you from across the office, periodically throughout the day. Monitoring the results of his varying hypotheses based around the growing impact he can have on you, and you on him - though he is far better at concealing that than you are; a long standing career as a profiler has its advantages in replicating calm behavioral signs with absolute precision. Still, he would admit that he has been struggling to catch his breath since the events of this morning, too. If you asked.
However, the rest of the team are just as good at maintaining their composure in the wake of the obvious, and they are not as unaware as they pretend to be. In fact, they are excruciatingly aware of the tension between the two of you that, actually, weighs heavily on everyone, wherever you go. It is almost as suffocating to them as it is to you. Almost.
That is why not a single member of the team is surprised when, at the very end of a day spent filing without any computer troubles, your laptop receives a particularly well timed virus from a specific technical analyst, that does not allow you to log out or shut down your system as quickly as everybody else manages to. The rest of the team pile into the elevator with giddy smiles, having noticed much like you have that - to your absolute dismay - Spencer is deliberately packing his bag at an excruciatingly slow pace, to keep him in the office just a little while longer, his gaze fixed on your frustrated countenance as you argue with your laptop while it simply follows the list of commands sent by Penelope Garcia in the form of a calculated delay.
The sound of the elevator doors closing and the team’s voices fading beyond its closed doors, make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up on end. Mere seconds later, your laptop completely fixes itself, logging out and shutting down at its usual speed, and you let out an exasperated sigh.
“It’s finally let you go?” Spencer jokes casually, his tone teasing and his subtext as clear as ever.
You have no excuse to avoid looking at me when I’m talking to you, now. Can’t risk being impolite, can you?
Swinging your bag over your shoulder, you begrudgingly lift your gaze to meet Spencer’s, your heart skipping a beat when you acknowledge just how close he is to your desk, for the second time today.
“Yeah.” You answer, not having the capacity to verbalize anything more, but Spencer hears the rest.
Yes. You are always right, and it is infuriating.
“Ready to go?” He asks lightly, his smile having evolved into a smirk filled with secrets and unspoken desires.
“Yeah, are you?” The voice that passes your lips is barely recognisable as yours, it’s so strained.
“Definitely. It’ll be nice to sleep in my own bed, rather than a hotel, for once.” Spencer chuckles airily, the sound making your chest tighten even more, because you know exactly why he’s laughing.
You’re thinking about my bed now, aren’t you? Wondering if there’s enough space for you. Of course there is, you’re such a small, sweet thing.
“Agreed. I need an early night!” You joke with Spencer, intending to throw his own sultry subliminals right back in his face.
Perhaps I’ll spend some time in my own bed, waiting for you to cross my mind again.
Reaching the elevator, you press the button, standing at Spencer’s side and waiting for the metal box that will force you to linger in close proximity, to return to this floor.
“You’re in need of that? I thought you said you slept well last night?” He catches you out, his knowing smirk looking down at you.
Making your motivations even more clear than usual, I see.
“A girl can never get enough beauty sleep! Trust me, I need it.” You chuckle, but your heart is in your throat.
“What a nonsensical implication.” Spencer murmurs as the elevator doors open, and the two of you step inside, not daring to force anymore space between you.
Centimeters between your hands again, your opposite hands holding the straps of your bags to your shoulders, your free hands hanging loosely at your sides, those tiny bolts of lightning causing an instinctual pull, until you feel his pinky finger brush yours ever so lightly.
Your breath catches, and you bite your lip.
Your eyes and his dart up to the top of the elevator doors, watching the floor numbers tick down, and you can almost hear Spencer calculate exactly how long the two of you have as his gaze lowers to you, pulling yours to his.
The pace at which he leans down to you is premeditated, you are certain of it, and against your better judgment, you find yourself standing on your tiptoes without an ounce of free will.
His breath fans your nose, and for the first time you can detect the shakiness in him that he’s been able to read so easily in you from the moment he saw you; the impact that this same tension has on him is not so easily hidden in close proximity, either.
If Spencer speaks now, his lips will brush yours.
And then the elevator doors open, the entrance lights flooding in and forcing the two of you to part from each other.
“I should…walk you, to your car.” Spencer says, his voice huskier than you’ve ever heard it, the subtext louder than before.
This isn’t over.
Your head is spinning, but you manage to nod it. Admittedly, it is darker than you had anticipated when you walk out into the parking lot, and had you been with anyone else, you likely would have asked them to walk you to your car, given that fact. But Spencer’s hand at the small of your back is making you forget the very ground beneath your feet, let alone how this could have played out if he had left with the rest of the team. But he has waited, since your very first day, for a moment like this.
Seconds.
Silence, save for your equally hurried footsteps towards your car. Stopping when you reach your car door, you swallow, hard, and turn to face Spencer.
“Thank you.” The words match the comprehensive size of your voice as you speak them.
I’ll never forget this. Not a microsecond.
And the look in his eyes mirrors your subtext.
His large hand stays at the small of your back, despite you having turned to face him, and he is closing in. Closer, closer, and closer still, until that deliciously familiar sensation of his shaky breaths flutter against the skin of your face.
“Is this what you want?” Spencer whispers into the dark, your body now pressed against the door of your car as his other arm cages you in, his palm flat against the roof of your car. His whisper is heavy, and for a moment your delirious mind wonders if you are hearing the subtext aloud, rather than feeling it in between the lines of your gestures, glances, small talk.
All you can do is nod, but that is not enough.
Spencer shakes his head, some of his curls brushing your forehead.
“Need to hear you say it.” His voice is still a whisper, but it’s more desperate now. The mask has fallen, the yearning beneath it felt in full force, unconcealed before your eyes for the very first time.
“I want this…you.” Despite your best efforts, your voice is no more than a whisper, either; the tension holding you both by the throat, squeezing every last breath from you, until there is no other choice.
Spencer’s lips fall onto yours, the his hand at the small of your back instinctively moving to claim your hip, squeezing, grabbing, pulling you closer when his body is already flush against you, holding you against your car. He breathes life into you, and you return the favor, granting him passage to foreign lands that he’s been dying to explore, to taste, to master. And he does, in a matter of seconds. While his tongue does not hold a separate brain, Spencer’s eidetic memory carefully notes every detail of you that his body learns, every instinctual reaction you give him. Your shaking hands card through his wild curls, tugging him down to you as if to pull him into you, to become one with him. In this moment, and in every moment since the day you met, you have wished for nothing more. His lips move with yours in a dance unknown to both of you, but you are two partners across the floor that have eyed each other all night, rehearsing with each other in your glances for far too long, and practice makes perfect.
Losing himself in you, Spencer’s hand that was once at your hip is now at your thigh, lifting it to hold it up at his own waist, gripping the soft flesh through your suit trousers. Only when you whimper into his mouth does he come to his senses and pulls away from you, but barely.
“Can’t do this here.” He utters between breathless kisses, unable to stop himself, unable to get enough of you.
“My bed or yours?” The question comes with a smirk that you press into Spencer’s lips, and he chuckles darkly against yours in turn.
“Bad girl.” He teases, and he loves saying it, too, but he doesn’t answer your question with words. Instead, Spencer releases your thigh in favor of wrapping an arm around your waist from behind, leading you across the parking lot, to his car.
And, interestingly, his answer to your question is the one word swirling around his mind like whiskey in a glass when he looks down at you.
Mine.

High Value Woman Formula: The 4 Key Pillars
Are you passionate about leveling up, but find yourself daunted by the overwhelming list on how to become a high value woman?
Don’t fret, you’re probably not the only one! It may sound complicated at first glance, but when you truly understand what it’s about, the high value woman formula is… quite simple.
In this article, I will show you an easy and concise roadmap to becoming the woman of your own dreams.
Let’s get started.
Pillar #1: Body
Much like Maslow’s pyramid, in order to have a mind that is clear, a heart that is at peace, and a soul that is fulfilled, you need to first attend to your basic physical needs (and not only).
Getting enough hours of sleep
A healthy diet
Fitness & exercise
Haircare
Nails
Skin
Dental health
Make-up
Pillar #2: Mind
Next ingredient in the high value woman formula is polishing your mind.
Upgrading your looks and physical health is great, but if you don’t follow it up with a mindset glow up, you’ll find yourself repeating the same mistakes, and bumping into the same limiting beliefs and bad habits.
Planning goals and keeping track of them
Improving your mindset / develop a growth mindset
Confidence
Embrace failure
Reading extensively to broaden your mind and your education (includes financial education)
Courses, trainings and masterclasses
Listening to podcasts
Watching TedTalks or insightful documentaries (if you’re curious about my recs for TedTalks/documentaries, let me know in comments below)
Pillar #3: Heart
So you’ve leveled up your appearance, improved your mind, now what? Now it’s all about your heart and your emotions. Think about all the things that nurture your emotional dimension and makes you feel appreciated, seen and heard!
Building a support system (friends, family, therapy)
Therapy
Healing your attachment style
Journaling
Self Love
Setting boundaries
Being your authentic self
Speaking your truth
Embracing your journey
Feeling & processing your emotions
Pillar #4: Soul
Last but not least, I’m a spiritual woman, and these are my personal beliefs which some may or may not resonate with. If that’s the case and you’re happy with just the 3 first pillars, that’s perfectly valid and you can skip this section.
But I do believe you have to take care of your soul. You can have the looks, the money and your self-concept in line, but you might still feel empty, unfulfilled, like something is missing from your life… if you ignore the spiritual aspect.
For the girlies that need a deeper connection to the divine, to God, the universe, here are a few action steps.
Joining a community that resonates with you
Prayer

Resistance .. its many forms and values and dimensions and usage .. so it became urgently important to apprise the self of it from sources ..
"Resistance is a multifaceted concept, encompassing physical, psychological, social, and political dimensions. Its definition and application can vary significantly depending on the context in which it is considered. At its core, resistance involves the act of opposing, withstanding, or striving against some force or condition. This broad definition can be applied to various fields, including physics, medicine, psychology, and social movements.
In physics, resistance is a measure of the opposition to the flow of electric current in a conductor. It is quantified by the unit ohm and symbolized by the Greek letter omega (Ω). The resistance of a conductor depends on its material, length, cross-sectional area, and temperature. For instance, materials like copper and aluminum have low resistance and are therefore good conductors, whereas materials like rubber and glass have high resistance and are good insulators. Ohm's Law, a fundamental principle in electrical engineering, states that the current flowing through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the voltage across the two points and inversely proportional to the resistance. This relationship is crucial in designing electrical circuits and understanding their behavior.
In medicine, resistance often refers to the ability of microorganisms, such as bacteria and viruses, to withstand the effects of drugs that are intended to kill or weaken them. Antibiotic resistance is a significant public health concern, as it makes infections harder to treat, leading to longer hospital stays, higher medical costs, and increased mortality. Resistance can develop through various mechanisms, such as genetic mutations or the acquisition of resistance genes from other bacteria. The overuse and misuse of antibiotics in humans and animals accelerate this process, making it imperative to use these medications judiciously and to develop new treatments.
Psychologically, resistance can manifest as a reluctance or refusal to accept certain thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. This concept is particularly relevant in therapy and counseling, where clients may resist discussing painful or traumatic experiences. This resistance can be conscious or unconscious and can hinder the therapeutic process. Understanding and addressing resistance is crucial for therapists, as it can provide insights into the client's internal conflicts and defenses. Techniques such as building a strong therapeutic alliance, using motivational interviewing, and gradually exposing clients to difficult topics can help in overcoming resistance.
In social and political contexts, resistance is often associated with efforts to oppose and challenge established power structures, policies, or social norms. Throughout history, resistance movements have played pivotal roles in advocating for social change and justice. Examples include the civil rights movement in the United States, the anti-apartheid struggle in South Africa, and the women's suffrage movement. These movements often involve a combination of nonviolent protest, civil disobedience, and sometimes armed struggle. The success of these movements typically depends on various factors, including leadership, organization, public support, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
In contemporary times, resistance continues to be a vital force in addressing issues such as climate change, systemic racism, and economic inequality. Activists and grassroots organizations worldwide are mobilizing to resist policies and practices that they perceive as unjust or harmful. Social media and digital communication have transformed the landscape of resistance, enabling rapid dissemination of information, coordination of actions, and amplification of marginalized voices.
Resistance, in its many forms, is an essential aspect of human experience and societal development. Whether in the realm of science, health, psychology, or social justice, resistance challenges the status quo and fosters progress. It embodies the struggle for survival, dignity, and betterment, reflecting the resilience and determination inherent in individuals and communities. As such, understanding and engaging with the concept of resistance is crucial for addressing the complex challenges of our world. "
... and at times the sources do not even address the most common of them all in the resistance ..
It be the pen and paper writing ..
When the pen has a resistance to the paper quality it is being written on the writing experience is determined as good bad or average ..
When the holding posture of the pen is conveniently comfortable to write, it produces the quality of writing exhibited ..
When the nib and flow of the ink on the pen is of desired like , the paper may be of the best resistance quality, the writing shall never be of the desired ..
paper same .. nib different , pen different .. sign same , but all different in form and appearance ..
