Rand asked the supervillainess in love with him if she could break him out of prison and she was like "sure thing babe let me just set the entire world on fire in a path between me and you" and honestly I'm kind of in love with her at this point.

Something I appreciate about Lanfear in the Wheel of Time is, rather than love turning her good, love turned her evil, and that's honestly pretty novel.

everyone loves talking about the batshit worldbuilding in WoT but I feel like everybody tends to overlook the Vaguely Evil Elves From Another Dimension that have their own officially licensed chutes and ladders-esque board game that you Cannot Ever Win

Rand’ relationship with the Maidens means the absolute world to me

when somara offers him a coat cuz he might get cold even though its like 100 degrees outside (classic mom energy)

the way they arent scared of him and constantly follow him around to defend him, the way they still joke around with him and about him even after mat and egwene and the others start putting awkward distance between themselves and rand

the fact that they all love him because hes their brother or nephew or cousin by an adopted relationship of sisterhood, and follow him because of who he is outside of the dragon reborn

How rand wants them all safe, because he cares about them too, but he cant keep them from fighting and dying because sacrificing who they are for safety would destroy them

Wheel of Time Season 3 Teaser Spoilers/Speculation

First off, being straight up about what Moraine sees in the rings is good! One, trying to keep it a secret really limits what you can do with her POV - this is one of the biggest emotional stakes for her story in this section of the book. Two, surprise is overrated and letting the viewer share in her dread until it is eventually resolved has the potential to be just as good as what happens in the books and works better in this medium. We probably won't know exactly how it's going to play out

Three, highlighting how Moraine and Rand are both burdened by prophecy is just good writing.
