Egwene’s inner monologue in chapter 35 of shadow rising about Mat having nothing to learn and wouldn’t want to learn anyways is really funny because she’s so close to the truth of it lmao

Mat does not want to learn, but he does anyways. He gets knowledge thrust upon him like a protagonist in an eldritch horror novel. He does not want this information, knowing it decreases his quality of life, but now he does know it and he’ll just have to live with it
