thinking about this again because it was clear that when moiraine stopped the bell tower from falling on siuan, siuan wasn’t looking around for who caught the building but rather where moiraine was because she must have felt her channeling. and thinking about how this was the first time since the waygate that siuan had felt her. how this time it was of her own volition and to save siuan rather than be commanded to do so against her will. and i wonder how different that must have felt, how much more intense it was rather than just the trickle of power siuan forced out of her. and i also think about how moiraine must have tracked siuan down by feeling her channel and knowing that it was probably because she was being attacked

and then, just like before, moiraine turned from siuan and left. and i am still not normal about them ever actually

there are times im normal and then i remember moiraine and siuan can feel each other channeling and the way it tingles across their skin when the other embraces the source, and how that never faded through all the years. and then i think about how after months of being shielded moiraine is finally able to channel again, moments before siuan commands her to close the waygate against her will. and i think about how during that, siuan must have felt her, felt that tingle as moiraine is finally able to channel again—feeling a sensation siuan didn’t even know she had been missing for six months—and moiraine must have felt it as well right before lanfear knocked siuan aside and moiraine had to leave her bleeding on the ground. and then i am decidedly not normal
