Half of reading New Spring is just giggling and kicking my feet every time Moiraine has baby-gay thoughts about Siuan

Rewatching 2x07 and the way that Siuan is showing vulnerability and basically telling Moiraine how much she hates the tower and just wants to leave it with Moiraine. Then after Moiraine says they'll retire, SIUAN'S FACE when she says "Really?" just kills me.

And then 2 minutes later when that future gets ripped away from them, it's SIUAN that stays in the tower to do the politics and not Moiraine (the political heir from the 'most political city in the world'). Like she's protecting Moiraine from ever having to go back to that life, even if it means she has to give up basically her entire life to do the EXACT opposite of what she so deeply wants.

That's the kind of sacrifice that you only do for someone you love so completely that you would do anything to protect them.

I just want them to have a happy ending in the show please 😭 I can't take how tragic it is otherwise.

If I am a Show Only viewer of WOT who wants to read New Spring because I’m obsessed with the Moiraine/Siuan/Lan backstory, can I read that without 1. Knowing what happens in the main series, and 2. Spoiling key upcoming plot points that are likely to appear in the show?

My partner has read (most of) the series but he hasn’t read New Spring so can’t answer this for me 😭

so i picked up again The Great Hunt yesterday... yes i will be continuing to read the wheel of time, please ignore any hate i've been giving it over the last three months, i was just bitter that Rand was such an asshole to Egwene, and from what i could gather, interpersonal relationships aren't Jordan's best suit as a storyteller.
