A totally non-specific thought that has nothing to do with a comic at all...

How do you think Kerian would lose his temper?

He is so cool and suave, just chill yet flirty, so I think it's be cool if he had the sort of chillingly silent wrath (AKA my fav type of villain, the one who it's hard to make them mad cause they so chill, then when they do lose it its absolutely terrifying)

Or, because he is a theater guy, maybe he would throw a diva tantrum, which would also be super amusing and unsettling. Because Diva's throw tantrums at things you wouldn't imagine, so it'd be more like a ticking time bomb.

Like, I'm down for either, I'm just planning something that it would help to kind of talk about it to get ideas to how to go about it. Especially since I'm also trying to plan for what comes after the current thing I'm working on

It's a confused and confusing post. For what it's worth, I doubt it's meant to compare them directly, it's just saying that both are still worth engaging with. I don't think such an engagement can be in any way strictly necessary, but I tend to be rather radical about these kinds of questions in general. If there are still valuable insights in Freud's (or Dworkin's) works, these insights can and should survive outside of the context of their original formulation. Social theory is not poetry.

21. Shaw didn’t have a childhood pet. He was chastised pretty frequently for feeding the stray cats in the alleyways, though.

2. Apples, probably. Vivian likes them but I think she generally prefers them cooked. Only one in three apples is good enough to eat raw, to her.

12. Bev has a couple library books checked out right now, borrowed from Benthic’s library. Mostly nonfiction he’s consulting for his research. He’s started all of them but finished few - most of the time he jumps around, picking out a few passages that are useful.

Dang, now I want a sour Applin. One that has an attitude towards everyone, and only bites those that it REALLY doesn't like. Because contrary to what Juliana says, her Applin would definitely bite Drayton. Especially after he meets Kieran's Applin: "YOU BETTER NOT EVER TOUCH HER AGAIN!!!!"

I am actually upset I created Sour Applin simply because I can't have something like him in game or irl

xingqiu and chongyun have insanely good potential for angst my god. xingqiu in particular is so fun to think about in the context of chongyun. what do YOU know about chivalry boy

thinking about how he and hu tao kinda operate on similar notions of justice and all that shmick except hu tao is more strictly averse to disrupting the Natural Order (incredibly vague and generalized concept rn sorry) whilst xingqiu sets his principles more arbitrarily. chongyun's presence somehow foils a lot of his notable character traits. gestures hands vaguely in the air but sth sth hu tao would not approve of xq's moral infractions

perhaps im just reading too deep into this but shrugs ill admit something's changed in Me the last 2 years and coming back to xq and cy has me like. scratches head now hold on im not entirely sure if i even like the way xq treats cy. its kinda one of the main points of their dynamic- the whole.. pranking this oblivious guy who i really adore etc. but its deeper implications leave me a little unsatisfied and a little troubled (?).. in the long run i personally dont really see anything substantially appealing about their (leaning towards romantic in this context) relationship other than like ?? the tropes that mhy imposed upon them. they were created as a compatible Duo ykwim. they reference each other a lot in their lore and even in-game but.. idk maybe i just view them separately instead of a joint unit that anaylzing them individually revealed a lot of crevices and cracks in their ship that's built upon their mainstream appeal

but anyway i've thought a lot about them as a duo and is it nuts to say i like them as a romantic ship but if they were unrequited. i can see them working out but it necessitates a complete subversion and reconstruction of xingqiu (chara development basically LOL) on my part that i would totally invest myself in but im not entirely sure how to execute it

i like xingqiu a LOT as a flawed character. i wouldnt go as far as to say hes toxic, just very conflicted and insecure. hes a fun character to think about. re: the hu tao bit i mentioned above, i think they would have a really fun, witty, and transformative friendship

but anyway. yes i like xq and i still like xy. theyre just a bit more complicated now aha. im still capable of enjoying fluffy ship dynamics but lately ive been in a Character Study Mood ... mmm.. ive yet to organize my chongming thoughts

a lot of you guys are blaming this solely on “tiktok / twitter” culture which is, evidently, valid [as she deleted those] however i think it’s important to reflect on your own actions as well instead of assigning blame to a faceless general group. we are all interacting with her parasocially through tumblr that still creates a social disconnect. that is not to say, you should feel guilty… it’s just to say that blaming a abstract group is easy and doesn’t do anything positive for the situation

got the trader joe's mango calamansi sorbet to try and the cashier said it was so sour she could manage like 2 bites at a time and could only get through the container by using it in a punch bowl. i was so so excited to try sour sorbet and then i had some and it was just sweet? maaaybe tart at best -_- foiled again by that treacherous traitor joe
