UPDATE 2:

So. Many. Granny Squares. ಠ_ಠ

I'm estimating about... 70 or so that need to be made? I was roughly measuring about 10 squares around my torso and 7 squares down. This isn't counting the sleeves—which aren't granny squares, but a granny stitch instead. I'm having to divide my crochet time. This is a personal project, but I also have crochet commissions I gotta finish up.

Current commission requests are a 6ft x 6ft/1.8m x 1.8m Polyamorous-Pansexual Pride Blanket done in a C2C(corner-to-corner) stitch, along with two Pansexual Pride Bees, and a new commission request of a 1ft/0.3m tall Cheese the Chao amigurumi.

I... Am SO TEMPTED to crochet this goddamn beautiful abomination of a sweater. It seems simple enough. It's basically a bunch of granmy squares with sewn on amigurumi donuts. It would be time consuming, but I am so tempted...

The demo is finally here! Part 2 clocks the demo at around 238.000 words. I can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that it's out. I can now go back to the prologue where I will begin rewriting/updating and just polishing everything before Chapter 3. To do that, I am asking for the favor of sending any and all bug reports in the entire demo to the google form. It's my makeshift method until I recruit beta testers, which will be happening some time during my rewrite.

It's best if you start from the beginning (i'm sorry). The errors from the demo are still there since I figured rewriting will fix that anyway, and there is one persistent error that I decided to just add a temporary choice near the end just for those who want to see the scene if, for some reason, the variables don't set.

✮ Part 2 is 60K words and it is NOT its own chapter, which means it does not have a full chapter arc. It's the second part of the chapter so it would help to read it as such. With part 2, Chapter 2 will complete at 144,000 words.

they had them at walmart for like 50 bucks online so i bought them all. but thank you SO MUCH for everyone who came in the comments and gave me suggestions, i appreciate it.

also if you’re in the market, walmart has all 10 movies all on dvd and blue ray and digital copy in a box set. PLUS saw the final chapter came with what looks like the 3D version, which i’m excited to watch. again thank you so much for your suggestions!

Danny Fenton was being haunted. Annoyingly, that wasn’t at all unusual. Danny was sadly used to being haunted. One could even claim, if one was being pedantic, that Danny haunted himself. Sure, since Danny had moved away from Amity Park and the mess his life had been there, the haunting were a lot less frequent, but they still happened from time to time. The thing was, is this haunting was different. Different in a way that made Danny worried about the ghost and their well-being.

Hope y'all had a great Pride Month, and good luck to those who are jumping into the Art Fight fray. It's July 1st, which means Yeehawgust is just a month away. 🤠 This is just a quick update to let y'all know Yeehawgust will ride again in 2024. Kiki-Kit Situation Update

Bit of an update to this post from the other week.

Details are all in that post but as a refresher, Kiki-Kit, one of the Gravity Falls fandom's better known/longtime artists, had been taking commissions from multiple people and despite everyone paying her in full, she had yet to fulfill their comms with some waiting up to 5 years with no update. And what made it especially troubling was that she had not communicated with anyone and even blocked one person who had tried to talk about it.

I also had gotten a commission from her in February and have been waiting on it since without her responding at all to me after saying my payment went through. Well, since then we have at least one little update about this...

@foxieskullz tweeted that she has since gotten a refund from Kiki-Kit. She also sent me proof of the refund and Kiki saying she'd pay her back.

This is of course great as Foxie had been of course, waiting since 2019 for her comm that Kiki had practically ghosted her over. It is like she said, disappointing it had to end up happening this way but at least now she has gotten her money back and hopefully in some way, through word finally spreading about all this, able to put it behind and move on from this mess, albeit with perceptions of Kiki greatly changed for the worse.

Of course, this does not mean everything is all good. Kiki has not yet gotten back to me or anyone else about our commissions. I've not heard a single thing publicly or privately from Kiki about this. Neither has anyone else I mentioned in the original post and of course, people like Jolliejackdaw, who Kiki blocked, are still waiting for a response...

Not only that, but the original post I made also has led to more people coming out and mentioning their own situations with Kiki and her not fulfilling their commissions.

So, while it is good to see Kiki-Kit actually working to respond to and refund someone, it's still just the tip of the iceberg. There are many, MANY more people who are waiting for an update.

And like I said in the original post, this isn't a hit job on an artist because she's not finished a commission. This is about lack of communication or transparency from her about why she has not responded to our messages and won't listen when we've had enough and just want a refund. Kiki-Kit could have easily handled this all privately by just being better at communicating with her clients. We're all understanding and patient and would more than have been okay with waiting however long for our comms if she had let us know that properly beforehand (and yes, she did that in June but also said she'd have comms finished soon and didn't deliver then either and also never followed up with an update or even responded to anyone who DM'd her including me). Even a simple, hello would have been okay instead of all this ghosting.

I do hope she does right these wrongs. I honestly do not believe Kiki is a bad person or trying to scam people. It would be truly vile and heartbreaking if that really was the case. But you can't say she hasn't left that perception of herself on so many of us, myself included. I do believe she can still resolve all of this if she just communicates better. Make a post saying you're gonna give people who commissioned you a chance to message you (and you actually responding to them this time) and let you know if they wanna continue with it or get a refund and then commit to either giving those people a refund or fulfilling what you were paid for!

I wanna thank also everyone who shared and spread the word on the original post. Even on my end, making a post like that was difficult to do to say the least. Calling out people, especially someone as major and long time in the fandom who I respected like Kiki is not something I wanna do, ever wanted to or thought I would do. But hearing all the stories from so many people who like me, have been waiting for an update from her and haven't gotten any, really made me realize enough was enough and someone had to make this issue known to a greater set of eyes. I don't like using my platform for stuff like this but this was something that had reached a point where it was no longer showing results through the proper channels of communication Kiki had set up. If you're not gonna respond to DM's, emails and tweets from people who have paid you and you have yet to fulfill their work or even give them an update when they want you to and given you ample time to do so, then you leave us with no choice other than to go this way.

I hope you do see this, @kiki-kit. Please get in touch with us who you have taken on a commission from and please just talk to us. Please give us a chance to either get a refund or give us a solid timeline on when our commissions will be done. No one will hate you if you need to take time to finish it. But just please, stop ghosting us and actually reply to your customers when they email or DM you for an update or at most, give a reason why it may take longer. That's all.

hi!! just a quick update:

yesterday i got a call that my dog has a malignant tumor, and long story short, has cancer. he is an older dog but a healthy one, and unfortunately it’s really just a waiting game with him, as we cannot risk treating him due to his elderly age

some of you are well aware of how much this dog means to me, as he has been with me for all my life, and ive always dubbed him as my best friend ): so of course this is a lot and im needing a moment to properly digest everything haha

on top of this im very sick, due to a number of things. i dont want to get personal or go into detail on my struggles, but im physically very weak right now :,D

and ofc, with the holiday season on top of everything else, social media isnt my main priority

all of this to say, heres what posts are gonna look like for a little bit:

• little sketches / doodles

i do have a couple projects like another couple animations and a whole psp au scene, but due to everything, im needing to put it on hold

my hope is that by the end of the holiday season i’ll have a better idea on my dog’s condition, and i physically will be healthier

ideally, these new projects will be posted in january… i was hoping along with some progress on my online shop & a patreon, but… life :,D

I’d say we are about halfway through chapter 1! YIPPEEEE…….but that does mean I’m gunna have to catch up for this last bit!

I do apologize for such sporadic updates, still trying to figure out my storylines (the general ideas are there, like the points I wanna cover, but how to get there stumps my brain hhhhggg)

ATOL Update!

Finally finished editing some scenes and codex entries (as well as a sneak peek into Chapter 3)! It isn’t much though, and I’m sorry about that-

Anyways, ATOL will now be in a semi-hiatus state, which basically means it may not always be guaranteed to release every summer. I will still work on it in the background, but just not as much as I used to. IRL stuff is getting too much for me, I swear…

I hope you all enjoy the update. If you have decided that now is the time to leave, I completely understand. I find it hard, personally, to be someone who sticks to a project until the very end. This is disappointing for some, I know, but I hope that you do try to stay for Swapped as well as my other planned projects.

Cosplay Bonus Update #2

Another update on the cosplay for spooky month with the help of @skythevirus.

New outfit for The Noise

The only thing I want to mention is the new spooky outfit for The Noise, changing his whole look to look like an Imp.

For those who did not know, Noise dresses up twice in the halloween update, one as a rabbit in the main lobby in world three (which is more reminisent of the Noid who his design was inspired by), and an Imp in the pause screen while the game has the halloween update active. Honestly the Imp fits him more in my opinion.

Its easy to make new costumes for both Peppino and Noise now that we have patterns that we can just cut and sew. I plan to make another but not a huge priority atm. I want to get back to plush making.

Cosplay Update 09/22/2024

We have completed most of the head.

I'd say most, cause a lot of the parts aren't sewn to the head itself. (You can see with the pins on the eyebrows) We also didn't get the time to work on a hat for him, so you'll see his bald head. This is mainly because of family issues happening all of a sudden, otherwise this would have been done by today.

You may also notice that I am wearing my in-progress foam padding and hands. (There's also body padding under the black fabric covering my upper body) Once I finish the head and hat, those will be the next thing I do.

I'll post an update on Wednesday if we have anything noteworthy to add.

Another good news though, a third person will be joining us for the convention day. We will do our best to accommodate him in the theme we will be going for. The third person will be dressed as Gustavo with a plush Brick shoulder buddy we will make for him. (Mostly providing the apron, the plush, and the chef hat) We are NOT going as far as making a THIRD FULL BODY COSTUME. Cause we an't got time for that with other projects coming up and having to ask a person from the other side of the country for specific measurements. It would also make sense that our third person will be our "handler" as some cosplayers/fursuiters refer to it. So it will be easier for both of us ( @skyrider3217artz and I) to walk around the convention more easily.

If you are one to check on the main blog post about this project after every update, you may notice that we have changed priorities for Peppino's props. We have decided to move forward with making the pizza box instead of the Toppins. Here is a preview of the design:
