I love Nhai, I really do. He was hurt by the change in their usual routine and took it out on Ai because he was feeling insecure and upset and hungry and now he's trying to fight his way out of a hole he dug and he's so scared and fragile and tiny now that he's come to care for and trust Ai, just as he feared he would be and why he originally refused to date him.

Do you think Fyodor and Barbatos would get along?

I've been thinking about this all day. lol I think they would get along the same way two predators might: it's easier to ignore the other and try to carry on. Trying to get rid of a neutral adversary might be too much work if there's no immediate need to do so.

Like, they're both calm and confident and intelligent. They live for the things (ideals/missions/people) that give them purpose. Their determination to serve that purpose makes them deadly foes if they're crossed. Barbatos is only a butler, but everyone knows that butlers aren't as scary or powerful as he is. He's loyal and knows exactly what his priorities are. Fyodor has the appearance of someone that's easy to underestimate—he seems sickly and harmless, but there's something almost menacing about his deceptively calm demeanor that feels dirty somehow. There's a darkness about him that stains the things and people around him. I don't think he's trustworthy the same way Barbatos can be.

Pretending that there's a mutual MC character shared between them, I think that's where any sort of friendship (agreement not to bother each other) starts to fall apart.

If MC is Fyodor's friend and introduces Barbatos as their romantic interest/partner, Fyodor is probably planning how just destroy Barbatos outright.

If MC is Barbatos' friend and introduces Fyodor as their romantic interest/partner, Barbatos is trying to keep them apart as much as possible while trying to find a way to quietly dispose of Fyodor in a way that's not suspicious.

I like them both so my fantasy is that they'd both get along well enough to put up with each other so I don't have to choose. LOL

Now that I'm on the Frontman!Gihun train, this scene suddenly popped into my head.

Inho is being treated with disrespect from the VIPs as usual. Gihun then steps up and demands they show respect. Otherwise, the games will end.

"End?!" The tiger VIP shouts, his voice replicating a tigers growl. "We fund this fucking thing! Who are you to say that it will end?" He points a finger at the masked Gihun. "We control your very life."

But Gihun is not afraid.

"Perhaps. But you need to remember one very important thing." Gihun says with a steady calmness. "Your riches give you everything you want in life, but at the end of the day, you are still human. You can still die." The room tenses and all the VIPs fall still. "Let's play a game. Let's bet and see how loyal our soldiers in this room are. If they're loyal to you, we die. If they're loyal to us, you die. Seems simple enough." The tension in the room was so still it could be cut with a knife. "Do you wish to try?" Gihun asks politely.

The tiger VIP sits down, muttering a half assed apology and chugging his drink. Gihun smiles behind the mask and looks over at Inho, whose gaze is intense on him even behind his black mask.
