The Lore pt 1

So my idea for the Tinysnow au is that after being attacked by Tigerpaw and running away, Tiny winds up in Windclan where he’s found by a patrol. They take him back to camp cause the warrior code says you gotta take care of kits even if they aren’t yours, and also this poor kid is hurt and scared out of his lil mind. Besides, sure he’s a kittypet, but he’s little and its dark.

Talltail, upon meeting this kid, notices he’s got some similarities to Jake, (with my versions of them for this au, him and jake have the matching white paw, and Jake has blue/green heterochromia, his blue eye matches Tiny’s) and after hearing his story, decides to adopt Tiny as his son, naming him Tinykit, later Tinypaw (Tall dad his Tiny son)

Theres some pushback from the clan, but Talltail refuses to back down on keeping Tinykit. Tinykit/paw deals with a fair bit of bulling and hazing from the other apprentices and older warriors, but that just pushes him to prove himself even more. He eventually earns the warrior name “Tinysnow” and later mentors Onepaw/Onewhisker instead of Deadfoot.

He goes with windclan when they’re driven out of their territory, and harbors a resentment towards shadowclan for many moons to come, much like how he’s harbored a grudge against Tigerpaw/Tigerclaw since their meeting.

When Fireheart and Greystripe come to bring Windclan home, Tallstar confides in Tinysnow that he’s certain Fire is also Jake’s son, like Tinysnow is. He walks with Fireheart and Onewhisker on the way back, wanting to learn more about how Fire came to join Thunderclan.

When they stay in Barley and Ravenpaw’s barn, Tinysnow is confused why Ravenpaw is there (seeing as he's the "great and powerful tigerclaw's" apprentice), and ends up prying the story out of the trio (Raven/Fire/Grey). He tells them he’s not surprised, and recounts his own Tigerclaw story to them, reassuring them he’ll have their back if Tiger ever tries anything else.

He also goes with the group to bring Fire and Grey back to Thunderclan territory, and gets in a fight with Riverclan before heading back with Deadfoot and Onewhisker. After that, Tinysnow and Fireheart meet up at every gathering to share news, and sometimes extra times since Tinysnow never had any siblings other than Ruby and Socks who always mean to him, and Fireheart never really got to know his siblings other than Princess.

Banished Fireheart AU

I am being perfectly normal about the fictional cat series right now and need to get this off of my chest.

What if when Bluestar banished Tigerclaw, she banished Fireheart too?

This AU would rely entirely on Bluestar losing her mind completely during her mental breakdown, but imagine that instead of trusting Fireheart more because he saved her from Tigerclaw and previously tried to warn her about the tabby tom, she takes the entire incident as proof that Fireheart's loyalty should also be doubted and decides to kill two birds with one stone?

This obviously makes zero sense, but Bluestar is beyond logic when she makes the decision, so to her Fireheart has already proved his own disloyalty by sneaking around and looking for answers behind her back.

AU timeline:

Blue banishes Tiger AND Fire

Fireheart is forced to become a rogue, obviously he can never live with being a kittypet again, so rogue life is his only option

Fire tries to contact other cats in Thunderclan, but he either can't reach them or they chase him away on Bluestar's orders, so he can't help them like he wants to

Tigerclaw becomes Tigerstar the 1st and the Riverclan/Shadowclan alliance happens

Fireheart decides to try his luck with Windclan, and Tallstar actually hears him out, but doesn't want to risk any potential alliances with Thunderclan by offering Fireheart shelter

Fireheart leaves Windclan feeling utterly defeated

Windclan refuses to align themselves with the River/Shadow alliance and Tigerclaw retaliates by executing several Windclan cats, including Gorsepaw

Onewhisker says "to hell with this!" and goes to find Fireheart, because at this point Bluestar has made her disinterest in alliances clear and Windclan needs more warriors to defend it, so why NOT take Fireheart in?

Fireheart is destroyed by the loss of Gorsepaw and his spirit very nearly breaks, but a heart-to-heart with Onewhisker motivates him to keep it together and he decides to return to Windclan with his friend

Tallstar officially names Fireheart as an ally and guest of Windclan

Graystripe comes looking for Fireheart because he needs help to rescue his kits and Sandstorm is the only other volunteer so far

Ravenpaw finds out what is going on through the gossip mill because it's Windclan territory and he is right there, how could he not overhear something?

Ravenpaw joins the raiding party against River/Shadow and reveals his identity to Windclan, who take the knowledge that he is a former Thunderclan cat pretty well

Onewhisker and Morningflower also join the rescue patrol

Tigerstar, who has been looking everywhere for Fireheart except in Windclan territory, expects sneaky and low-key resistance to come from Fireheart at some point: what he does not expect is for Fireheart to launch a full-scale raid on Shadow/River camp while he, Leopardstar, and a shitton of their cats are at the gathering

Fireheart is fucking feral at this point and decides that the warrior code doesn't apply to people that shove little baby apprentices in prison, he injures Blackfoot so badly that the wounds are almost fatal and outright kills two other cats himself. Morningflower also gets a kill in, Sandstorm blinds a Riverclan cat, and Onewhisker rips somebody's ear off in the ensuing fight while Graystripe and Ravenpaw help Stonefur and Mistyfoot evacuate Featherpaw and Stormpaw (this all happens before Tigerstar has the chance to publicly execute Stonefur)

Fireheart books it back to Windclan with his raiding party and their rescued kin

Tigerclaw realizes exactly what happened way too late and is furious, but he doesn't immediately march on Windclan because he has bigger fish to fry and still wants Thunderclan dead

The newly named Tigerclan moves to attack Thunderclan, but Windclan comes to their defense and the two sets of allied clans are temporarily forced into a stalemate

Tigerstar disappears to work on his strategy, this is when he makes the decision to try recruiting Bloodclan

Thunderclan is very confused but not ungrateful to Windclan for their help, and Bluestar rescends her previous decision to alienate Tallstar in a brief moment of clarity (Whitestorm is her deputy and has become her caretaker, doing his best to keep her comforted and alive)

Fireheart leaves immediately after the battle, not wanting his former mentor to see him there and snap again because he firmly believes that this alliance is more important than anything else right now. It kills him to leave without even seeing Cinderpelt, but he doesn't believe that it is possible for him to stay

Sandstorm tries following him at first but Morningflower stops her and goes instead while Graystripe explains the raiding party to Bluestar, who is almost too preoccupied by the presence of her kits to register the fact one of her warriors just admitted to Fireheart being involved in some capacity

Morningflower catches up to Fireheart and we get another emotional conversation, Fireheart let's her see just how much this entire experience has affected him and tries to apologize for not being there to protect Gorsepaw. Morningflower shuts his apologies down, firmly explaining in excruciating detail why he is the last cat that should be blamed for Gorsepaw's death. This is where a friendship really starts to form between the two, and Fireheart gets a much needed hug.

Bluestar reluctantly requests that Fireheart be brought to her after learning that he helped to rescue her kits, and Whitestorm comes to retrieve him, interrupting his talk with Morningflower

Bluestar grants Fireheart refuge and Thunderclan forms a joint camp with Windclan for safety reasons.

Bluestar and Tallstar decide to call their temporary alliance Lionclan

Lionclan makes plans to continue defending themselves

END OF PART 1

I really like this AU because I am a big fluff/angst person and the idea is ripe with those elements, I also really wanted a reason to retcon a lot of the Fireheart related decisions that the Erins made in later books, so this AU is now that reason. I haven't planned out how the rest of the first ARC will go down in this AU, but I do have some ideas for how this AU would carry into the Firestar's Quest timeline.

Some other random things about this AU:

Stonefur lives to become Stonestar, he is the leader of Riverclan during the great journey

Leopardstar is not allowed to remain leader after Tigerstar dies in this AU, and Blackfoot is removed from the deputy position permanently

Russetfur becomes Russetstar by popular clan vote, she is the new leader of Shadowclan

Bluestar still dies

Whitestorm becomes Thunderclan's new leader, I thought that Whitestar would make a good parallel to Blackstar

Mistyfoot is named as Stonestar's deputy

Fireheart comes very close to rejoining Thunderclan after Bluestar's death, but in the end it feels wrong to him that his banishment be broken over Bluestar's still cooling body, so he continues living as a guest of Windclan until the final battle is won and peace has returned to the forest

This is where we hit post first ARC/super addition territory:

After the first great battle, Fireheart feels as though he has finally fulfilled the prophecy by aiding Windclan and sees no reason to return to Thunderclan despite the way that his heart aches with the absence of Graystripe, Sandstorm, and Cinderheart.

Fireheart is selected by Tallstar to attend the first gathering after everything has settled down in the forest, and is happy to learn that while Stormpaw has rejoined Riverclan with Mistyfoot and Stonestar, Featherpaw has decided to remain in Thunderclan with Graystripe

Mistyfoot's three remaining kits have also all survived, and are doing well as apprentices in Riverclan

Tallstar announces to everyone that Fireheart has officially pledged himself to the black and white leader as a warrior of Windclan, this makes those of his Thunderclan friends who are present horribly sad, but there is also an undercurrent of melancholy understanding between them that prevents any ill feelings from taking root

Later that night in the warriors's burrow, Fireheart is restless as he dreams of Bluestar, tossing and turning in his nest beside Morningflower and Onewhisker as Bluestar tells the still-young warrior that Starclan isn't done with him yet and that he still has a destiny to fullfil

Ultimately Fireheart winds up receiving several more dreams and a few signs from Starclan IRL before finally taking the hint and seeking out the descendants of Skyclan. In this AU, he leaves Windclan solo but Sandstorm decides to sneak away from Thunderclan and follow him, she has been receiving some signs of her own and is frankly sick of her idiot friend trying to recover from all of his trauma with only his Windclan friends for support. The two bond after she saves his ass, and begin to develop a crush on each other (this is Fireheart's first real adult crush, his crush on Spottedleaf was a puppy crush and was never that serious).

Skyclan is eventually reformed, and Fireheart is chosen by Starclan to be it's new leader so that he can bring everyone back to the forest and train Leafdapple to one day succeed him.

They make it home and Fireheart visits the moonstone to become Firestar and receive his nine lives.

Fireheart and Sandstorm eventually become mates and Sandstorm officially joins Skyclan, they have three kits together, two she-kits and a tom.

The kits are named Leafkit, Squirrelkit, and Gorsekit.

The End (or is it?.....)

Author's Note: OC alert, he is a very minor character and barely shows up, but I thought that Fireheart and Sandstorm having an extra kit and naming it after Gorsepaw was the cutest thing in the world.

Ladies and gentlemen, Gorsetail has entered the chat (he looks like Sandstorm, but a bit darker and fluffier).

His main roll in the second ARC is to be the sibling that stayed home, because in this AU Leafpaw pulls a Stormfur and goes on the Journey with Squirrelpaw.

Gorsepaw the 2nd exists to be obsessively mother-henned by Firestar and Sandstorm, who refuse to let him starve and are constantly giving their own food to him as prey becomes scarcer and scarcer in the old forest.

I ship Breezepelt x Mudclaw in an AU of mine and I’d like to share it for some critique. So Mudclaw is betrayed after Onewhisker is named deputy, and he asks Hawkfrost (who lives in this AU) and Breezepelt to help him take back his deputyship. In the process, Breezepelt falls for him because he gives him more attention than his parents. Mudclaw realizes his feelings for him and withdraws as he doesn’t want to harm Breezepelt on accident the day he goes to war with ThunderClan, and Hawkfrost continues on with the plan. Hawkfrost gets killed by Brambleclaw like in canon, but Breezepelt and Mudclaw are together now and make peace. That’s the basic gist.

She-cat Firestar AU

NEW WARRIOR CATS AU!! Yes, starting a new one despite not even finishing my other one. This will be a what if Firestar was a she-cat. I will be mainly writing down things that changed and will be skimming over the stuff that stays the same. I will get back to the AlderSky Au soon, but I wanted to share this one as well. So, here we go ~

~ Into the Wild

Most things, including the major plot points, stay the same. Mainly the things that change in these events are little things. Such as:

Firepaw is noted to be very pretty

While Sandpaw is still snarky, but is a bit nicer to Firepaw, as she is happy that there is another she-cat in the Apprentice's Den

Firepaw does not have a crush on Spottedleaf

Everything else that happens in Into the Wild happens the same as in canon. Yes, even Fire's warrior name, Fireheart.

~ Fire and Ice

Again, most major events stay the same, but there are more difference's this time.

The journey to find WindClan is the same, with the minor exception that Onewhisker clearly thinks that Fireheart is pretty.

During the fight at the Gorge, Graystripe manages to grab onto Whiteclaw before he falls and Fireheart and Leopardfur help drag him up. Leopardfur is grateful for this, but still demands that they get off RiverClan territory.

Fireheart still gets Cinderpaw and Graystripe still gets Brackenpaw. Fireheart still spots Princess.

Graystripe still falls into the frozen river and is saved by Silverstream, but he does not fall in love with her at first sight. This is because Graystripe is already in love with Fireheart at this point, even if he does not consciously realizes it. As a result, Graystripe is around more as a mentor to Brackenpaw.

During the time Bluestar gets greencough, it is not Cinderpaw that gets injured, but Brackenpaw. When Fireheart goes to get the catmint, she tells Graystripe to keep an eye on Cinderpaw as her apprentice had already suggested going to meet Tigerclaw in Bluestar's place. Thanks to this, Cinderpaw is kept in camp and is not injured. However, Brackenpaw, wanting to be helpful, goes to try and meet Tigerclaw by the Thunderpath. As a result, it is Brackenpaw who's leg is injured.

Cinderpaw is guilty because she kicked so much of a fuss about it that Brackenpaw felt like he had to go and Graystripe is guilty that he did not pay close enough attention to Brackenpaw. Fireheart is trying to comfort everyone.

The next big change happens when Fireheart brings her nephew to ThunderClan. While the Clan still has trouble accepting him, they do eventually allow him to stay. This time though, Fireheart moves into the nursery to raise him. Brindleface still suckles him, but Fireheart is the one raising him, teaching him Clan ways and mothering him. Graystripe steps in as a father-figure to the kit. Fireheart is also the one to name him.

This where another big change comes in - Fireheart does not name him Cloudkit. Instead, she names him Snowkit, since it started snowing the day she brought him to camp.

Fireheart still trains Cinderpaw in her spare time, but Graystripe also stepped into to help mentor her.

Most things stay the same, with the minor changes that Fireheart is in the nursery, so there are times where she either cannot go to a Gathering and Graystripe relays what happened or Cinderpaw taking Brackenpaw's place in getting the patrols when the former ShadowClan cats attack camp.

When Snowkit sneaks out of camp with Fernkit and Ashkit, Fireheart is the one that alerts everyone. She is furious, if a tiny bit proud that Snowkit caught a vole for the Elders, and scolds Snowkit for putting himself and his friends in danger.

When Onewhisker comes for help during the attack on WindClan camp, Fireheart does not go, since she is technically a queen, so Graystripe relays what happens to her later.

When she hears this, Fireheart cannot help but worry for her Clan and new kin if Tigerclaw ever becomes Leader, a resolves to make sure he cannot hurt any other cat.

Setting up some backstory bits for (currently unplanned) Snow Angel Au Future Installments, Ashfur and his wife Smokelily (thanks @monochrome-sunsets for the name, Lily is now Smoke's mom's name) and the renamed Duskkit!

So Ashfur sees a Windclan warrior yelling at a molly on Thunderclan Land, so goes to eject both. He immediately changes his plan when the tom scratches the molly and a kit wails in terror. Smoke and Duskkit watch Ashfur absolutely wail on Onewhisker in startled awe, and accept the escort to Thunderclan Camp. Smoke doesn't initially plan to stay, just until her muzzle heals, but the nursery is soft and safe, and the cats here are just so kind and understanding. And that gray tom who rescued her is just so great with Duskkit and all the other kits. So she stays, taking some time to figure out a name with Spottedleaf and Fireheart. She takes Smokelily in honor of her mother, a queen who always had time to care for others. Eventually Ashfur and Smokelily fall together, and stay that way.

Darkkit/Duskkit is supposed to look like both a Burglar and Batman because he had the potential to go either way

Duskwing ends up going Very Batman by having an adventure in Twoleg Place and bringing back some kits he found and rescued from a hoarder house

Spiderleg is a Sphynx! And Squirrelkit is the Loudest Baby Ever

And adult ashfur design is from @strawslurper0 he do get scruffier and spottier

OLD GROWTH AU

An AU where the first six arcs are all shuffled around! I wanted to see how long I could keep the Clans in the Old Forest, and play around with a different order for the arcs while still keeping the core plot points and storylines intact. I had some help from @wsoupofpain , and I am super down to talk about this AU at any time!

The Broken Code

POVs: Spottedleaf and Redtail

Thistleclaw, after being killed by Rosetail for grooming Spottedpaw, is accepted into StarClan. He begins planting false signs and eventually possesses Raggedstar, encouraging the Clans to punish and exile codebreakers. The Clans must come together to defeat him.

Brokentail kills his father, Raggedstar, ousting Thistleclaw from his body. Redtail then kills Thistleclaw’s spirit after Spottedleaf utilizes death berries to bring her brother’s spirit out of his body. Redtail becomes deputy.

Culture changes to be more about working together, and encourages treating the Code as being up to interpretation.

The Prophecies Begin

POV: Firestar

Tigerclaw attempts to take over ThunderClan, and eventually the whole forest. Firestar works to stop him, stopping Brokenstar and saving WindClan in the process. Eventually, the Forest Clans must defeat BloodClan, a ruthless group from the Twolegplace.

Culture changes to be more inclusive in WindClan and ThunderClan; ShadowClan and RiverClan are reeling from their support of Tigerstar.

A Vision of Shadows

B1: POV Squirrelpaw and Leafpaw. Squirrelpaw is sent on a journey to rebuild SkyClan. Brambleclaw tags along, and they successfully re-establish SkyClan, saving Petalnose from her Twoleg. In the Forest, something seems to be wrong with ShadowClan…

B2: POV Brambleclaw and Tawnypelt. In SkyCan, the journeying cats must help the new Clan fight invading rats to ensure that SkyClan can survive. In the Forest, Tawnypelt details the worsening condition of ShadowClan under Kin rule, including its eventual dissolution. Some of the remaining ShadowClan cats take refuge in ThunderClan, but many remain with the Kin, and a few simply vanish altogether.

B3: POV Feathertail and Squirrelflight. The Clans band together to drive the Kin from ShadowClan. In the chaos, Tallstar and Deadfoot are killed, leaving WindClan leaderless. The remainder of the Kin retreat to Highstones.

B4: POV Crowfoot and Leaffall. WindClan goes through a Civil War, caused by Tallstar and Deadfoot’s deaths. Before Tallstar’s death, Deadfoot had considered retiring and Tallstar had publicly planned to make Mudclaw deputy. However, Barkface finds a sign of a single slash mark and believes it to indicate that Onewhisker has been chosen by StarClan. However, the Clan cats are unable to reach the Moonstone. The two sides clash, and StarClan smites Mudclaw to end the conflict. The Kin leave Highstones soon after, allowing Onestar to become WindClan’s leader. His first act is to isolate the Clan.

B5: POV Tawnypelt and Brambleclaw. Tawnypelt goes on a little journey to retrieve cats who fled ShadowClan during the Kin takeover, helping to re-establish the Clan. Feathertail comes with her and joins ShadowClan because they are in love. ThunderClan grapples with a yellow cough outbreak. The Clans argue internally about how much they are obligated to help their neighbors when struggling themselves. With all the Clans preoccupied with their own difficulties, the Kin easily take over RiverClan.

B6: POV Squirrelflight and Leaffall. The Clans begin planning the attack that will drive the Kin from RiverClan. Leaffall and Crowfoot leave and return; Cinderpelt dies in the battle; Onestar and Darktail fall over the side of the Gorge while fighting each other, but Onestar is grabbed by Leaffall and Crowfoot, who in turn are grabbed by their families, such that there is a huge group keeping Onestar from going over the edge. With Darktail dead, the remaining Kin members flee the territories for good.

Power of Three

POVs: Jayfeather, Lionblaze, Hollyleaf

The Three are born and Jayfeather and Lionblaze grow into their powers. Hollyleaf is revealed to not be one of the three. Hollyleaf reveals their parentage and kills Ashfur, then flees the territories.

Instead of visiting the Tribe, they visit SkyClan.

The Dark Forest begins recruiting, starting off with cats like Lionblaze and Hawkfrost who have familial connections to the Dark Forest.

The New Prophecy

POVs: Dovepaw and Ivypaw

Journey Crew: Lionblaze and Dovepaw; Heathertail; Goldenheart (Tigerheart); Stormfur and his apprentice, Rainpaw. They swing by SkyClan and Harrybrook joins them; on the return trip they go through the Tribe.

SkyClan joins the Clans on the Great Journey, and live with them at the Lake, taking their canon territory.

Dark Forest trainees are able to recruit other cats on the Great Journey, when the Clans are not in communication with StarClan or the Dark Forest. Ivypaw is the POV where we see this in action.

The Moonpool is “discovered” by Jayfeather via time travel.

The WindClan Coup is replaced by the RiverClan Succession Crisis. After Leopardstar dies, Mistyfoot takes control of RiverClan despite not being able to go and get her nine lives. She chooses Hawkfrost as her deputy. After Jayfeather discovers the Moonpool, Dovewing is sent to RiverClan to share the news. While speaking with Mothwing, she hears Hawkfrost trap Mistyfoot in a fox trap, and runs off to help. Mothwing follows, and the two of them arrive in time to save Mistyfoot, although Hawkfrost is killed by Mothwing in the struggle.

The RiverClan Succession Crisis occurs during the last book of the series; the various problems the Clans encounter while settling in are shuffled to be earlier.

Omen of the Stars

POVs: Jayfeather, Lionblaze, Dovewing, and Ivypool

Relatively unchanged other than most characters being older, and SkyClan being present at the Lake. The Clans must fight against the Dark Forest and their supporters.

Hollyleaf returns with a variety of Clan cats that left the Clans at one point or another, including some SkyClan warriors who chose to remain at the Gorge, some Kin members who want to join or rejoin their Clans, and some other rogues or loners who are interested in the Clan lifestyle. These additional numbers help to make a difference during the battle against the Dark Forest.

Culture changes to be a bit more open to outsiders, including a formal method for joining (or changing) a Clan. Collaboration between Clans is much more common.

Fireheart x Morningflower AU Drabble

The old "what if I ship THIS rarepair as a joke?" but as per usual I get attached to said rarepair. Anyways. Here's some very scrambled `1 am thoughts.

I'll do something more concrete after I reread tpb again cause since Morningflower isn't a major character, somethings are blurry!

This is also a "Fireheart goes to Windclan" AU but its AFTER he's become a warrior of Thunderclan. Mostly because I thought it would be fun and also because I think it would be the most likely scenario for a Fire/Morning ship to work.

-In this AU, Fireheart fails to convince Bluestar that Tigerclaw is a threat. He's exiled, but finds refuge in Windclan [I think Jake tells Tallstar something about Fireheart at the end of Tallstar's revenge so that but its taken further]. Tallstar is more then happy to take in Fireheart when he both saved his clan and was talked about by his old mate [Tallstar/Jake is canon you can't tell me otherwise]. Tallstar almost sees Fireheart as a kit he never had.

-Kind of a take on what happens if one of starclan's prophecys fail cause they never do that and its lame [I'm only caught up to dawn of the clans so if they have done that afterwards my bad]. Since Bluestar doesn't end up trusting Fireheart's instincts "Fire alone can save our clan" doesn't pan out!!!

-Obviously this has a lot of implications when it comes to the main plot of tpb but I just like changing things to see where I would make them end up. Stuff like if Tigerclaw killed Bluestar, what happens to Yellowfang, what happens to Graystripe and Riverclan and Bloodclan, how Fireheart might be considered a traitor by other clans and how much Windclan would/wouldn't accept him. etc. lol. Big AU for tiny ship.

-Probably going to either fill in some windclan warriors or take a realllll close look at the allegiances between books because so few are actually listed in the first series.

-Not sure exactly when I want Fireheart's exile to take place- I think I would place it somewhere between Graystripe leaving for Riverclan and Tigerstar's murder attempt on Bluestar, but I'll think on that.

-Anyways onto the actual Fire/morning stuff.

-Other then talking at gatherings about how Gorsepaw is doing, the two don't really get romantic until after Fireheart joins Windclan. Originally on my main art blog I thought it would be funny if Fireheart was sneaking out to see Morningflower in the same vein Graystripe does with Silverstream, but I think that's too repetitive and a bit out of character for Fireheart [he's seen sneaking out and breaking the warrior code plenty sure, but he's also seen to be a complete goofball when it comes to romance]

-Fireheart acts as a sort of surrogate father for Gorsepaw [who lives in this au]. More father figures in Warriors please. [Pretty sure Morningflower's canon mate is Cloudrunner which is WILD becuase Cloudrunner was a moorunner warrior when Tallstar was a kit and Tallstar was Morningflower's mentor?????? What I'm saying is he's old as hell. I don't thin he's in TPB so I'm just assuming he's dead or generally ignoring his existence for now] Gorsepaw would absolutely adore having Fireheart in windclan

-Onestar and Fireheart being brother in laws is cute and they won't have the same kind of falling out if Fireheart is in windclan [Idk if Fireheart would ever become leader of windclan but hey. Question for another day]. Don't ask me about Ashfoot. I forgor what she's like

-I mostly like this ship because I like the thought of Fireheart being the one who comforted Morningflower in what was probably one of the darkest moments of her life!!! and also that Morningflower is such an underutilized character, with her retiring [rather early, i think she's brother's with Onewhisker?] to the elder's den after she feels like she avenged her son, but the way she fought so fiercely to do so always makes her stand out in my mind : (

-With how protective Fireheart is over Sandstorm in the last few books of tpb I think he would absolutely do the same for Morningflower and his adopted son.

-I have many doodles planned and will expand on this as I think of stuff haha. Will have to make some stuff up for Morningflower seeing as she doesn't appear in the books often.

When people say Onestar's arc was bad or made no sense I'm always like ??? Did you even read?! Half of his clan wanted to assassinate him, of course he would turn on Thunderclan. It was his perceived alliance and subservience to them that fueled the ire that almost killed him.

Though I will say, I barely consider Darktail his son. Like yeah in canon he is, but in my mind he was Blackstar's. I just feel it works better

I will say as someone who disliked the turn of events initially, I understand where it comes from. It's always really nice when cats don't start screaming at each other over piss lines and have friends, I really liked Onewhisker and Fireheart's friendship. It felt like a breath of relief compared to every other cat getting ready to beat the shit out of each other on sight. So from a perspective of disappointment, I get it. I have definitely come around to appreciating Onestar now!

Big agree! I disagree with notion it came out of nowhere or was bad writing, he's one of the few characters who has decent motivations for being so hostile to others. There's something really interesting about the same cats you once shared a den with, hunted with, and fought alongside now trying to stab you in the back. Also really interesting that he ultimately pardons the cats who took part in the coup. Something so...interesting, I love it.

Darktail as a Sol/Blackstar baby lol but that would've been cool! Legacy of the old leaders still impacting the Clans. Truthfully though, I don't think there's any Darktail lineage AU I've ever gotten super into unfortunately.

So here’s an AU no one probably cares to hear. Thanks to Twitter and there being a warriors ship vote toll there I fell down the Fireheart x Morningflower ship and I’ve been thinking of an AU.

I also did a family tree and I’m gonna explain a few things

Instead of Thunderclan fireheart is raised in Windclan. Jake asks Nutmeg to let him take their two kits; Rusty and Princess; to Windclan for they hold a special destiny and she agrees. He meets Tallstar and asks for him to raise the two kits in the clan. Rusty is named Emberkit and Princess is named Softkit.

Emberheart and Morningflower are together and they have Gorsepaw, Quailkit and Storkkit in their first litter. Then later have Leafpool and Squirrelflight.

Brightheart ended up leaving Thunderclan after the dog attack that killed Swiftpaw and where she was renamed Lostface by Bluestar(what happens in the books). She didn’t like that Bluestar pratically acted the way she did and joined Windclan where her and Cloudtail get together. Instead of Whitewing it’s Swiftleap; named after Swiftpaw.

I also wanted to do something different and split up the Po3. Jaykit is the son of Feathertail and Crowfeather. I decided to switch the au where it was Stormfur who died in the mountains instead of Feathertail. But Feathertail and Nightcloud decide to leave to join the tribe together.

Hollykit and Breezekit are the kits of Squirrelflight and Crowfeather who are together. Lionkit was found as an orphaned and is being raised by Mothwing in Riverclan. He has two proud medicine cat mommas.

I honestly didn’t know what to do and who to make the parents of Ivypool and Dovewing so I made it Harespring because well it’s my AU.

I gave Scourge a mate and kit because why not. Raven was just a placeholder name and I might change it but I’m keeping their kits name as Dragonfly.

Softheart was with Cloudrunner instead of Cloudrunner being with Morningflower because well she’s with Emberheart(Fireheart). He dies anyway in my rewrite and Softheart gets together with Ashfoot and raise Crowfeather and Cloudkit together. Ashfoot and Deadfoot were mates but drifted apart after the death of their kits which left only Crowkit alive.

I’ve always HC Kestrelflight, Harespring and Heathertail as siblings. Being born to Onewhisker and Whitetail. Onewhisker still had kits with Smoke and the same happened where he abandoned them leaving Smoke to teach her two remaining kits; Darktail and Lynxfrost; to hate the clans.

Are you still doing Aus? I have two though one might be slightly darker than other I’m about to tell you. This one is basically a one sided Onefire with Greystripe/Firestar with basically Onestar as Ashfur. Onestar has always been in love with Firestar but he realized that early on he couldn’t have him. When he became leader his true colors showed and he attacks ThunderClan. Firestar is devastated and doesn’t understand why. Greystripe returns and they rekindle their love. Onestar is then killed by Darktail and Firestar grieves. However Greystripe has a near experience and starts to act strange.

Wow!! I haven't done a warriors au in a while, but this one sounds really interesting. The potential!!! :0

So ... Onewhisker meets FIreheart and Graystripe when they come to rescue Windclan. He admires Fireheart and eventually starts falling for him. He tries to drop hints at gatherings, but Fireheart doesn't really pick up on most of them and when he does, he pretty much turns him down, showing that he sees them as just friends. Onewhisker eventually realizes that nothing's really working and loses hope of being with Fireheart. This loss of hope deepens when he sees him being closer with Graystripe. They are always together , whether at gatherings or at when he sees them at border patrols. The sight of them slowly makes Onewhisker angry. How come Graystripe got to be with Fireheart so easily? He was always kind to Fireheart. He always showed the love Fireheart deserved. He made it clear that he would treat him so well. But Fireheart would never love him. Going for Graystripe instead. The thought made Onewhisker furious.

Meanwhile, Graystripe has noticed Onewhisker's changed attitude towards him. The windclan cat always seems angry with him when he sees him now. He wonders why, but doesn't try and press him.

Moons later when Graystripe is taken by twolegs, Onewhisker tries again to get with Firestar, but is rebuffed, a bit more harshly this time. The anger from this rejection simmers in Onewhisker for a long time and when he becomes leader, it boils over. He attacks Thunderclan one day. Many warriors of Windclan do not want to attack, but they want to remain loyal to their leader. Both sides suffer lots of injuries and tensions rise between both clans. Firestar cannot understand where this attack came from and is really upset by it. This confusion and sadness hangs over him for a while, but he gets some relief when Graystripe returns.

Everything seems to be going up for Firestar and Graystripe. They are back together and very happy. Even Onestar seems to have laid off and is decent towards them, even though they could tell he was still a bit angry with them for some unknown reason.

One day, Onestar's son, Darktail comes back into his life and everything seems fine at first, but what no one realizes is that Darktail has grown bitter towards his father for rejecting him and his mother and all the years he spent away from them.

One night, Onestar decides to meet with Firestar at their border. He tells him at a gathering and the two meet alone. Onestar tells him all his feelings towards him and still hopes that they can be together. Firestar, very tiredly, once again tells him that he is not interested and is happy with Graystripe. He tells Onestar that he should have moved on long ago and asks that they just remain cordial as leaders. Onestar's not happy that he's been rejected completely, but grudgingly agrees. They part ways.

Neither cat realizes that Darktail was listening in on the entire conversation. The cat is furious. He believes that Onestar left him and his mother for a cat who didn't even love him. He comes out of his hiding place and confronts Onestar. They argue and Onestar goes around the Windclan border by Riverclan to get away from him. Darktail follows him and they continue arguing, but this time it escalates into a fight. They soon cat themselves into the river as they fight. This just so happens to be the worst time for them to fall in as the river is flooded and the the current is strong. Both cats get caught up and eventually drown. They are found by a Riverclan patrol a few days later when the water goes down.

When news of Onestar reaches Thunderclan, Firestar is really upset and somewhat blames himself despite Graystripe's insistence that it is not his fault.

Life suddenly goes downhill for Firestar when Graystripe nearly gets hit by a monster and falls hard on the road in his attempt to escape. His injuries are not serious, but his behavior slowly changes. He becomes more impatient, aggressive, and even violent. Especially towards Firestar. No one in the clan knows what is happening with him.

One night, "Graystripe" challenges Firestar to a duel for power. Firestar is horrified at the thought of fighting his mate, but does so anyway to keep his position. The fight ends with Firestar losing a life. While he's out, he is warned that someone is trying to get back at him. He wakes up without knowing who. "Graystripe" exiles Firestar and his reign of terror begins. Many cats either follow Firestar into exile or submit to the usurper.

During his exile, Firestar tries to figure out who is trying to get back at him. Tigerstar? Darkstripe? Scourge?

Eventually it hits him.

Onestar!

In a dream, he finds Graystripe's trapped spirit begging for freedom. Firestar vows to free him and take revenge on Onestar for all the damage he has caused to their lives.

Firestar gathers his exiled cats and tries to convince the other clans to turn on "Graystripe". The other clans are skeptical at first, but soon begin to question the actions of "Graystripe". Even though not all of them believed the story Firestar and his exiled cats told them, they still believed that they needed to depose him as he was becoming a threat to their cats too.

All the clans join together to depose the usurper in a battle. Once they realized they could win, all the cats left in Thunderclan turn on the usurper. The battle is quick as there is very soon no one for Graystripe to fight for. Firestar tells them not to kill Graystripe and promises that he'll find a way kill Onestar's spirit inside. They hold "Graystripe" prisoner as Firestar goes into his dreams and confronts Onestar.

Onestar begins to tell him how they could have had it all. That he had done everything to be with him and that Firestar repayed him by breaking his heart. He tells Firestar that vowed to make him suffer just like he did. Shocked and disgusted by the cat he had thought was his friend, Firestar attacks. The two fight viciously. In the end, Firestar is triumphant and kills Onestar for good. As Onestar's spirit disappears, Firestar coldly tells him that he would never love a cat with such a cruel heart. Onestar fades know he has lost Firestar forever.

When Firestar wakes up he is greeted by a very awake and free Graystripe. His mate thanks him profusely and Thunderclan cheers for their leader. Firestar is happy that Graystripe is back and that things can return to normal, but is haunted by what Onestar did to him and Graystipe.

Firestar and Graystripe go on to live out the rest of their lives peacefully. The lesson they often told cats to never let a rejection turn them towards rage. The consequences could be dire.

It's been so long since I've done these lol This one was fun. I haven't actually read the Bramblestar/Ashfur possession part of the warriors series so i only know bits of it and went of that.

The Lore pt 2

No art for this one cause my hand hurts today, but here’s more Tinysnow lore!!

When Thunder and Wind are on bad terms due to Thunder harboring Brokenstar, Tinysnow is among those who attack thunderclan camp, he and Fireheart have a brief confrontation about Thunderclan harboring Brokenstar and about it being a betrayal of the warrior code. The battle ends before they really have a chance to fight, but Tinysnow is bitter about it for a while

He comes around eventually, but it takes time

Niw, to briefly take the focus away from Tinysnow: When Tigerclaw is driven out, there is further canon divergence. He gathers up anyone from Brokenstar’s old crew who’re still alive, and takes them to the twolegplace (its close to thunderclan so he can keep tabs for his revenge) where he finds Bone, leader of bloodclan in this au. Tigerclaw challenges bone for leadership and wins, taking over bloodclan. He then FORCIBLY takes over shadowclan after finding out they’re weak from sickness, and brings Bloodclan with him to keep his new clan in check.

Back to our boy

Despite tensions still being high between Windclan and thunderclan at the time, Fireheart risks traveling to Windclan to tell Tinysnow that Brokenstar is dead, and what happened to Tigerclaw, so by the time Tigerclaw becomes Tigerstar, Tinysnow already knows what’s up.

Due to Tinysnow’s distrust of Tiger, he confides in Tallstar what he knows after Tigerstar becomes leader of Shadowclan (including why he was exiled). Tallstar trusts his son, and keeps a careful eye on the wind/shadow border after.

Tigerstar still does the dog pack plan, Bluestar still confronts Windclan cause she thinks they’re stealing prey, and it still goes more or less the same. Fireheart mediates between the two clans to have a peace talk, but it he gets accused of betraying Thunderclan first his half brother. Bluestar still dies saving Fireheart from dogs, and Fireheart becomes leader

Skipping ahead, Tigerstar convinces Leopardstar to join Lionclan, and gives Windclan and Thunderclan an ultimatum to join or else. Obviously, Tallstar and Firestar refuse, and Tigerstar leaves them with a foreboding message about making the right choice when the time comes.

Tigerclaw has to have Blackfoot pin Tinysnow to the ground to keep him out of the way, but still kills Gorsepaw in the center of the camp. Tinysnow vows to Onewhisker that he’ll get revenge for this

Bone has been quietly plotting against Tigerstar every since their first battle where Tiger stole leadership of bloodclan from him. He murders tigerstar in his sleep the morning of the day Tigerstar had given Wind and Thunder to give their answer, ripping out his throat so terribly that it could not be healed even by Starclan. Tawnypaw and most of Shadowclan fled to Riverclan in fear.

Windclan and Thunderclan meet, ready to battle Tigerclan, and instead have Tigerstar’s dead body dumped at their feet by Bone. He tells the Tigerstar, and by extension Tigerclan is dead, and gives them three days to leave or die, revealing behind him the full number of bloodclan warriors (A LOT, i imagine they’re most of the strays in all of twoleg place)

Firestar rallys all four clans together, including help from Barley and Ravenpaw, and forms Lionclan. They go to war, Firestar still looses his first life to bone, but is kept from having his wound worsened to the point of not being able to be healed (like Tigerstar) by Tinysnow jumping in to his defense. Firestar wakes up from loosing his life and the two of them finish off Bone together.

Bloodclan scatters, many of them only being there out of fear for Bone, and aren’t heard from for a while (they’re too busy having an internal power struggle and dealing with their lessened numbers)

I haven’t actually thought much further than that yet, BUT!! Tinysnow does AT MINIMUM live a good ways into new prophecy, so i'll have more lore to share eventually.

So you guys remember that one bloodclan au I posted about a bit ago? I want to give some info and a semi-summary of the au

Quick refresher: Fuego is Princess, Oil-Slick is Smudge, and Woodchipper is Hattie. I'll be referring to their Bloodclan names

-After the Battle Against Bloodclan, patrols are sent out to scout the surrounding area to make sure no Bloodclan cats are still in the area, fearful that a surprise attack may occur after Scourge was murdered. SandStorm and LongTail are both apart of Thunderclan's patrol team

-They both stumble upon Fuego and Oil-Slick, taking refuge in a shoddy old den (More like a concealed hole in the wall). The two cats could have easily driven the Bloodclan pair out of the forest but they felt pity and empathy cry out to them that they need to help those cats.

-Fuego and Oil-Slick are in bad conditions but Fuego is especially not doing well as her stomach bears a massive, heavily bleeding wound from the battle.

-In this au, warriors are taught basic medicine, so both SandStorm and LongTail escort the two cats to a better, less poorly made den/hideout to treat their wounds properly with their basic knowledge.

-Fuego's stomach wound is far too deep and serious for basic medical training, so, after some talking, SandStorm and LongTail retrieve CinderPelt.

-She's shocked that there are Bloodclan cats remaining in their territory, but quickly gets over it and agrees to help, stating, YellowFang always told me to help those in need, even if they're our enemies. No cat should suffer like that."

-Fuego and Oil-Slick are fairly resentful towards the clans (Specifically Thunderclan) so they really didn't want the help at all, they definitely put up a fight. Though if nothing was done for their wounds they'd both slowly and painfully die of infection so they didn't really have a choice.

-The pair of Bloodclan cats still hold on to hope that Bloodclan will simply be able to bounce back from the catastrophic loss of their own cats that resulted from the battle which is also another reason why they begrudgingly accepted help.

-Side note: Woodchipper is nowhere to be seen but she ended up fleeing back to Twolegplace after being knocked out cold during the battle and fell out of harms way but she does come back later on.

-OneWhisker is also involved as well, however, he's a little more involved with Woodchipper's side of the story. He helps her find Fuego and Oil-Slick because he remembers when him and Windclan were lost and afraid, but, FireHeart and GreyStripe has rescued them, it's only sensible that he hold onto the same beliefs of helping lost cats.

-Fuego, Oil-Slick, and Woodchipper all have different reasons and paths that led them to joining Bloodclan, but it all came to fruition during an incredibly low point in their life, which is why they clung to Bloodclan so much, it was a safe place for them and a way to help cats who desperately need help. Bloodclan was like their home, their family. -Parts of this au also delves into the personal lives of the three Bloodclan cats, what led them to join Bloodclan. Also the three Bloodclan cats suffer from some bad depression

Longstar AU — Chapter Nineteen

   “ThunderClan.” A voice growled, black fur peeking out from behind the grass. “What are you doing here?”

   “We’ve come to speak with Deadfoot,” Firestar dipped his head to the smaller she-cat.

   “Deadstar, you mean?” The she-cat slipped from behind the grasses, “He’s my mentor, I would know.”

   “Ah, yes…” Firestar murmured, adverting his gaze from her blazing orange one. “Nightpaw, than?”

   “Yes.” Her eyes narrowed, “I can guide you to camp, if it’s so urgent you must speak with him.”

   “That would be nice,” Longtail meowed, the she-cat glancing at him. Nightpaw rolled her eyes, beginning to lead the deputy and leader pair toward the WindClan camp.

   “Nightpaw, you can’t just leave before your warrior ceremony—!” Onewhisker hissed, his eyes narrowed. “Oh! Firestar.” The brown tabby tom dipped his head, “What are you doing here?”

   “We’ve come to speak with Deadstar.” Firestar mewed, “It’s urgent.”

   “I’m sure it is,” Deadstar padded up behind Onewhisker, nodding to the tom. He and his apprentice padded back into camp. “Especially if you're coming yourself.”

   “Yes, it really is,” Firestar nodded. “Twolegs.. they’re..—they’re taking their monsters into our part of the forest. They're destroying it, and it seems they’re headed for our camp.”

   “.. I see.” Deadstar murmured.

   “We’ve come to ask for shelter in your camp,” Longtail spoke up, Firestar flattening his ears.

   “I’m sure we can offer you shelter until this is figured out.” Deadstar dipped his head. “Myself and my warriors will have no problem with it.”

   “Are you sure about this, Deadstar?” Mudclaw popped up behind him, eyeing the ThunderClan leader and deputy. “Do we have enough resources for that?” 

   “I’m sure we do, Mudclaw. Our moor is always plentiful, and so are our herbs. Barkface and Kestrelpaw will be fine welcoming your medicine cats, as well.” Deadstar twitched his whiskers.

   “Yes, and welcoming another leader and deputy won’t cause any problems,” Mudclaw hissed.

   “.. So you’ve been named deputy, than?” Firestar mewed.

   “Yes. Is that so unbelievable, Firestar?” He growled.

   “I didn’t mean it like that, I—“ Firestar paused, taking a few steps backward.

   “He didn’t, Mudclaw, back down.” Deadstar growled, casting a glare at his deputy. “Go and gather your clan, Firestar. We'll be waiting to greet you when you arrive.”

   “Thank you, Deadstar,” Firestar dipped his head, turning back toward ThunderClan territory. Longtail and his leader traipsed through the territory, arriving back at Sunningrocks.

   “Prepare yourselves. We’re going to WindClan camp.” Longtail rose his voice to the whole clan, his green eyes narrowed. “Kits, elders, medicine cats—make sure everything is prepared.” 

   “It already is,” Cinderpath twitched her whiskers. “Leafpaw and I'll start our way over there after everyone else. I just need to get what’s left of the herbs in our camp.” The gray color-point she-cat nodded to her apprentice, turning back toward the camp.

   “The rest of you follow Longtail, than,” Firestar meowed. “Myself, Sandstorm and Graystripe will get elders and queens.”

   Longtail nodded, resting his gaze on Blizzardspots. The she-cat gave him a gentle nod and a smile, the tom quickly returning it. He turned back toward WindClan territory, the warriors and apprentices of the clan following close behind. They weaved through trees, hopped across small rivers, and jumped over rocks. And soon they arrived at WindClan camp.

   “Longtail.” Deadstar greeted once more, “Right in here, everyone.” The black tom flicked his tail, turning into his camp. The group of ThunderClan cats followed.

   “I really have to thank you, Deadstar,” Longtail dipped his head. “Our other option was Leopardstar… and, well, you know how that would go.”

   His whiskers twitched, “I do,” Deadstar smiled softly. “And it wouldn’t be well. We’re happy to host you while things aren’t safe in the forest,” He meowed, hopping atop of the Wind Rock. “Cats of WindClan! ThunderClan will be staying in our camp until further notice. I expect my cats treat them as guests, and with respect. Understand?”

   Though meows of discontent and discomfort could be heard, most cats didn’t seem to have a real issue with it. Some greeted the ThunderClan cats with friendly meows, some not. But it didn’t seem to bother most.

   A familiar scent flooded his nose, whipping his head around to the WindClan camp entrance.

   Brambleclaw, Squirrelpaw!

   He rushed toward the two cats, Firestar sliding in behind them. As well as smaller black tom which he knew as Crowpaw.

   “Crowpaw!” Deadstar rushed up behind them, nuzzling his son, “What happened? Where have you been?”

   “D-dad!” Crowpaw hissed. “Knock it off..”

   “Okay, okay,” Deadstar purred. “Now, explain.” He hissed, his eyes narrowing.

   “We went to the Sun-Drown place.” Brambleclaw responded, “To meet a badger, named Midnight. She gave us some.. information.” The tom's ears flattened, adverting his gaze from the WindClan leaders.

   “What kind of information?” Deadstar growled, flattening his ears.

   “The badger said something bad was going to happen to the forest.” Crowpaw flattened his large ears to his head, “That something was destroying it.”

   “The twolegs,” Firestar murmured.

   “Yes.” Brambleclaw sighed, “And.. and she said we had to leave.”

   “Leave the forest?” Longtail growled, “How can we possibly do that? Where do we even go?”

   “She said to head for the mountains.” Brambleclaw replied, “Are.. are we going to go?”

   “Well, I’m not sure,” Firestar mumbled. “I’m not even sure the other clans would believe you. Or the other clans. Though, we'll speak to them at tomorrows gathering.” 

   “.. Do you believe us, Dad?” Squirrelpaw mewed, her gaze slowly shifting to Longtail, “Longtail?”

   “Of course I believe you.” Firestar gently nuzzled his daughter, “And I’m sure Longtail does as well. I myself have had my run-ins with StarClan, prophecies, missions, what have you. I have no reason to think you're lying.” He shook his head, “I’m not sure the other clans will believe you, though, like I’ve said.”

   “Yes.” Deadstar narrowed his eyes slightly, “I believe you, as well. And if the time comes we will follow you out of the forest. But, I’m not sure RiverClan and ShadowClan will be so proud to do so.”
