Hello hello! This is a super late ask as the day draws to a close (where I am), but just dropping in to ask you: do you have any little headcanons about your version of the Reyes fam that you haven't mentioned in a fic? I absolutely adore their chaos 💜

Ooooh thank you for asking about them!

I think most of my head canons have made it into fic so far, but here are a few that might not be as obvious.

Teresa (Carlos' oldest sister) liked her now husband for YEARS before he finally took a hint and asked her out. I think they were probably a girl/boy next door situation and there was a point where he dated someone else and she got pretty upset about it.

Lucía is the scatterbrain of the family. She's always the last to find out what's going on, loses her keys at every family get-together, runs out of gas in the car, etc.

And just in general they were all chaos monsters when they were children. So many ranch based shenanigans, pranks on each other, epic grudges that are still held.

Oh, and as mentioned in Tangled In the Christmas Lights, they CANNOT play board games together. It's bedlam. Fighting, yelling, accusations of cheating, sometimes it gets physical (but only in that fun sort of sibling way, no actual harm) and all the spouses/girlfriends/boyfriends know to stay out of it, lest they get caught in the crossfire.

Oh, Mateo’s hit his head on a coffee table and is dreaming up an alternate universe where he’s in a sitcom? Oh yeah TK and Carlos are work partners there (even though in this universe, TK isn’t a cop)

In the spirit of Jason getting a golden retriever boyfriend (Roy doesn’t count, he’s a ginger raccoon) have some headcanons about the batfamily slowly absorbing him into the clique:

Jaime thinks Dick and Tim are the same person so he’s under the impression Jason has only one brother

Jason thinks that’s hilarious and doesn’t correct him at all

Thought Bruce was Jason’s brother too and Bruce loved him like his child ever since

Damian loves Jaime so much? It’s actually pretty hilarious. “Damian, can you grab me a coffee?” “Can, yes. Will I? No.”

“Hey little dude can you bring me —“ “I will kill for you, Reyes.””…Thank you?” “Please ask me to kill for you.”

“I’m going over to Jaime’s.” Damian’s limbs lock around Jason’s legs. “WE are going.”

Steph texts him the most random shit at like 2 in the morning and doesn’t elaborate. “got stabbed behind a Taco Bell lol” “?????????” “do u want a nightwing supreme “

DUKE AND JAIME BONDING!!! they love making fun of Jason’s tough guy persona and pull pranks on Bruce together.

If Jason and Jaime have an argument, Dick WILL show up at his dorm’s door with the biggest puppy eyes in the world. “Please don’t make me beat you up. You have the softest baby face in the world. It’s freaky.”

Bruce pays his student loans out of the blue and Jaime has no idea how to function with that.

MARJAN'S PEOPLE Preparing for Her Wedding At The Firehouse. 9-1-1 : LONE STAR : S05E10 "All Who Wander"

Imagine if DC made a WFA-style webtoon but for the Green Lanterns? Like, the GLs decide to come back to Earth and raise Keli as their kid bc they’re not gonna just toss her back to the junkyards of Bolivia

Like, it could be a really sweet yet unorthodox dynamic where there’s no clear parental figure and it’s more like seven older siblings trying to raise their youngest sister. Even better if Alan shows up every now and then to act like the grandpa of the family

They could live in the sector house that Simon was squatting in during the Humphries Green Lanterns run but John renovates it into an actual family home with enough space for all of them and any guests who stop by. So Keli can invite her Young Justice friends to her cool space home (eat your heart out Wayne manor)

But this doesn’t have to be all about Keli, the adults are important characters too and there needs to be more casual interactions between the older four corpsmen and the newer additions. Like Kyle and Jo fooling around by making constructs of anime characters or changing their costumes into cosplay. Or Jessica and John designing a terrarium for the house because you can never have too much green. Hal and Simon installing jet engines into a car just bc they can

Also just imagine all the guest characters that could show up. Not just the obvious ones like Kilowog but non-GLs like the JLI that Guy was part of. Imagine Jaime gets dragged along by Booster and Ted, and he gets into an argument with Keli about whether the Teen Titans or Young Justice is cooler

BARTHOLOMEW HENRY ALLEN II aka Impulse aka Bart

Some facts about him:

He is from the future!!! (30th Century)

The son of Don Allen and Meloni Thawne, grandson of Barry Allen and Iris West.

Was a member of the young justice, teen titans (where he went by kid flash) and the legion of superhero’s

The process to getting his powers was quite traumatic for him because he started to age quite rapidly, so he physically appeared to be 12 but mentally was 2.

He has a clone called inertia who was created by the Earthgov scientists.

Best friends with Kon, Tim and Cassie ^_^ this was shown through the young justice comics.

He has a bad relationship with both Wallace Wests.

Trained by Max Mercury. He loves that guy.

Headcanons:

He had many phases throughout the years. (He went from emo to y2k within a few weeks)

Bart doesn’t understand personal privacy stalked Jamie Reyes (Blue beetle) all the way to his house.

Impulse and Flash (Wally West) for some reason have an unspoken rivalry like Bart could annoy him for hours (just for fun) and Wally could be rethinking his decisions of existence😭.

Bart goes back in time to slap the back of his opps heads.

He made a group chat with the young justice and named it YoungJustUs.

He is the most feared Hero due to his menacing behaviour. (even joker and reverse flash were fed up with him) .

He wears big trainers/sneakers to make him look bigger and taller.

He is the king of taking mugshots of people he about one million worth of pictures saved dedicated to the young justice they are mostly on Tim drake. (Red Robin)

His hair has its own emotions it takes Iris and Barry/Flash ages to tame.

Silly little guy.

He reminds me of a looney toon character. (No disrespect✌️).

He plays Minecraft.

Okay, so I am actually working on the fic involving Allison and Stiles having a chat about finding out your boyfriend's a werewolf.

However, there's shit that happens before that, and one of those things involve me having to list out all the shit the Argents have done to the Hale's (+ others)

Anyway, here is the list in chronological order (until the end of season 2) to the best of my memory:

Kate, raped/manipulated 16-17 yr old Derek

Kate + Gerard, burned/killed (most of) the Hale's

Kate or Gerard, had a hunter put as Peter's nurse and gave him shit that drove him mad

(Most likely) Kate, cut Laura's body in half

Chris, hunted/shot Scott

Chris, threatened Derek

Kate, shot Derek

Chris, hunted/shot Derek

Kate + hunters, capture/tortured Derek

Allison, tortured/shot Derek

Gerard + hunters, hunt Derek and his pack (+ Scott, I think? at least tortures/threatens)

Victoria, poisons Scott and tried to kill him (+ Derek, I'm pretty sure)

Gerard + Allison, capture/torture Erica, Boyd and Stiles

Gerard (+ Scott), makes Derek give him the bite

And you know what the Hale's have done to the Argents?

Derek, joins Peter in his quest to kill the Argents (but literally doesn't)

Peter, killed Kate and associates (after they killed his family and practically tortured him + his nephew)

Peter, tries to kill Allison (doesn't)

Derek, gave Victoria the bite (likely against his will since it was only after she poisoned him and Scott and tries to kill them, but doesn't kill her)

Derek, bites Gerard (AGAINST HIS WILL!!!)

I mean literally, I don't think Derek's ever gotten one hit on the Argent's in the first two seasons (never watched the full show), and only ends up killing Kate wayyyyy later on in the show.

Everything they've done, has been in retaliation, and I'm gonna say what others have said on tumblr and fics, etc.: the Hale's follow the hunter's code better than the actual hunters do.

Anyway, I'll let y'all know when I finish the fic :)
