Gens sur Rennes et alentours

Petit appel dans l'espoir que ceci trouve des gens intéressés, pour soutenir un petit café bien agréable et ces gérants bien sympa, qui galères par manque de clients réguliers 💔

C'est l'endroit idéal pour ce prendre une bonne boisson fraîche, thé ou café, dans une bonne ambiance si vous aimez les mangas, comics, et/ou jeux vidéos, musique d'anime et kpop. Je trouve que les prix pour profiter des lieux ou pour se prendre un en-cas/dessert ou boire ne sont pas excessifs, surtout lors des happy hour et si vous êtes étudiants. Dans le pire des cas, un sirop/café classique ne coûte pas grand chose et les jeux de sociétés sont en libre service si on consomme qqch.

Y'a des évènements assez souvent, karaoké et tournois de jeux, cosplay et ventes de goodies etc. Ils peuvent ouvrir assez tard et ça change des bars trop bruyants je trouve.

Ils sont à deux rues de République et ouvrent même le dimanche.

Le choix de lecture niveau mang et comics et énorme, même quelqu'un comme moi qui a une sacrée collection, j'y trouve de quoi lire. Pareil pour les jeux vidéo, ils ont plein de consoles dont la PS5 et un casque virtuel, et une collection éclectique de jeux, du jeu de combat à du Zelda en passant par Stray, Okami, ou encore Spider-Man...

Les (grands-)parents qui veulent éviter d'acheter des trucs mais aimeraient partager certains hobbies avec leurs enfants, ou veulent se poser en ville boire un café, en laissant leurs enfants/ados jouer/lire un peu, y trouveraient leur compte soit dit en passant.

En tout cas, j'avais vraiment regretté le manga café qui avait existé près des Lices pendant 30sec on aurait dit, et Manga T n'a pas vraiment beaucoup de place ni de collection complète ni autre chose que des manga, et la nourriture et plutôt chère.

Du coup j'espère vraiment ne pas perdre cette boutique, et le fait de pouvoir y papoter avec des gens qui aiment les mêmes fandoms de temps en temps dans une chouette ambiance en plein centre ville, et histoire de me changer les idées et pas trop broyer du noir... Bref viendez visiter au moins une fois, ou parlez en autour de vous ce serait super merci ! 🙏 💙

think it shouldn’t have been legal that my first day of teaching of the year coincided with grey and rain and storms. however! have some very lovely new students, some very enthusiastic returning ones, there’s new cookies in the cafe, and I get to play with pendulums tomorrow, so there are some (many!) positives

But speaking of abs. Do you think if there was a flame chasers café, would the food that is based or inspire by kalpas be just normal bread rolls that look like abs and it's just decorated with an extra chocolate on top that looks like his mask?????

they really are 😭😭😭😭 also oh my gosh ab bread rolls for kalpas would be perfect!!!! I feel like brownies would be good for his mask if he had both but I have no clue how you could do the orange part lol

could you imagine kalpas making those bread rolls and being like "yeah these are my abs" just totally chill and Elysia is in the background cackling and Sakura is more upset about it than he is

The next on-shift barista, after Danny leaves: uh, is this baggie of crack cocaine or whatever?

Tim, who prayed to anybody who would listen for Danny to somehow leave his caffeine powder: let me see

Barista: uh?!

Tim, dumping the entire bag into his thermos: bottoms up

Tim, slamming down the thermos: it's whatever

Barista: I, I need an adult.

Tim: I am adult.

(The whole thing about ghosts and liminals having fast metabolisms and resistance to chemicals, making Danny have to take way higher dose of things like medications, caffeinated drinks, and other substances for them to even do anything.)

Danny’s in Gotham and goes to get coffee from a random cafe. He asks the barista what the caffeine content of their strongest drink is and lets out a disappointed sigh when they tell him. (It wouldn’t do anything to him and would just taste super bitter)

Danny proceeds to order some super sweet and sugary drink with multiple pumps of flavored syrup and drizzle on it. And when Danny gets his drink he takes out a canister of white powder and dumps a whole tablespoon of it into his drink and stirs it.

Danny after drinking some of it and being more awake he realizes that most of the shop saw what he did and that an unknown white power in Gotham is usually something illegal. Danny knowing his luck doesn’t want to risk even the slightest chance someone decides to do something about the teenager with a container of unknown white powder just straight up tells everyone it’s pure powdered caffeine.

This somehow causes an even more dramatic reaction, after all no normal human can survive that much caffeine.

Tim who both saw the whole thing and ordered the strongest drink they made: That’s like 75 cups of coffee… should I order caffeine powder?

Ngl this is a short one.

So Danny comes to Gotham. Down on his luck. But lo and behold, he still has access to the kingly vaults! He doesn't have to worry about money!!! He can just buy a small apartment and live out his miserable little life In luxury!

But then he is stopped on a horrible and a dark stump in his plan. How in the 7 hells is he gonna explain it to the IRS ??????

Money laundering????

Can't he just say he found a mysterious big pile of gold and be done with it?

No, Danny . How are you gonna explain the fact that you keep finding mysterious little gold files to the tax man . Jazz says emphatically through a video call . Which is a multi dimensional cuz I can't explain why sam wont just give him the money. And btw the just assume that the vaults has a magic function to give the money to him in the local currency.

Sso from that day onwards Gotham had a new little cafe in a quiet little nook. The prices are super cheap. And it by far has the best fudge in all of Gotham. If you exclude Alfred's.

The gothamites love it. It's a favorite college hangout. Everyone is pretty sure the cafe is a front. Everyone is 100% sure of it. But in this economy who the hell cares. At least it's not nfts.

People can actually benefit from this because we can get like a whole breakfast for like 4 dollars ( an au where like Danny's 2000s world is like super cheap compared to the modern Gotham city and nobody taught the poor boy common prices of this world. Danny's thinking like how do I keep accidentally going into these rich people stores with their ridiculous prices, Ughh guess I'll have to buy this I don't want to go farther) and the quality is good too. The scrawny little twink owner sure as hell does not know much about ingredients prices or did the bare minimum study of business.

Anyway when the bats came sniffing (the scrunkly little guy was innocent blame Fenton luck) and we'll tried to interrogate the owner people actually chained themselves to the front like the worlds most confused save the trees activists.
