Rirune listened to the woman's explanation as he took a small sip from his drink, and... there certainly is quite a bit of information to digest from her explanation.

And once she's done, the boy summarized everything in his head immediately. So basically, in short...

Prime sacrificed herself using the knowledge of the universe to undo a spell made by Jeanne, two which includes a witch, and someone named 'Sezja'. Who she is, he doesn't know, but if Mirana trusts her, then she must be alright.

Defeating her mother, Jeanne, the Red Witch, required the sacrifices of three. Prime's life, Harune's role as the memory weaver, and a freed 'Quantum Witch', who sealed her in a timeless space.

However, Harune and Prime were still alive, although they were past their... prime. However, she doesn't know hot to reach them. This is the good news.

The bad news is that Jeanne did not die, and is slowly regaining her powers. He certainly hopes that these 'agents' are just the Deva clones, and not others he has not heard of, although... 'essence of red' to become whole...? What does 'whole' mean? Deva seems pretty accurate as she was... right?

And of course, Rirune has questions regarding the whole ordeal. The first, namely, being...

"Mirana... how have you been holding up after all this time? It must have been really tough for you after everything that's happened."

She must have been working herself to the bone with everything's happening. Now, with the most important question out of the ways, there were two on top of his head.

"About these copies of Deva which have been consuming the essence of red... What's the best way of finding them? We'd have to cut them off as soon as possible to prevent these agents from becoming whole, yes?"

"Secondly, Mirana, I can't help to notice that you haven't spoken about Lust. Just what happened to her? Is she okay...?"

The third question is... how would they even fight Jeanne now? Harune lost her power, Prime is nowhere to be found, and it's likely that there's a solution to not fall for this 'Quantum Witch' again.

Mirana said it has to be a collective effort, so... what could they do...?

"Then I will try to keep this concise but forgive me if there's blanks or things left unsaid." Mirana leans forward and with a little sip, she braces to tell Rirune the truth.

"After you saved Harune and said your farewells, your friend Prime at the cost of the knowledge of the universe she came from, her life. Used it to grant a wish to undo the spell Mother had cast upon so many."

"It allowed our good friend Sezja to be rescued, it allowed a witch named Michiko to escape Jeanne's control. It turned the tides and allowed many of us to succeed that day."

Mirana paused for a moment, giving Rirune a little time to digest.

"It took the price Prime paid, the sacrifice we all put forth, it took Harune's role as the memory weaver, and a freed Quantum Witch to defeat mother at her peak."

"The Quantum witch thus decided to enact her revenge and sealed Mother away in a timeless space. The details, I don't know.. I am sorry. And Harune, the cost she paid rendered what was and what will be parted, through her power the rejoining worlds Mother tried to bring together parted ways."

"The good news is, the woman you know as Harune exists...she is alive. The sister of mine and Prime, they continue to exist, though in a low power state back where you last saw them."

"How to reach both, I am not sure. Even I have not returned to Gensokyo beyond checking their bodies and cleaning a shrine...it has been some time again. But the bad news."

Mirana rested her hands on the table. "My mother did not die to the Quantum Witch's actions. In time she has escaped though her powers are fragmented still. In time she will regain these, right now however... her agents are out and about. It is probably why we've seen these lesser Deva copies around. Eating up any essence of red they can to try and become whole.."

A lot to take in, for now Mirana would wait. Let Rirune ask anything about what she just said.

"Lucy's version of hell... I still do have the item to go there... I wonder if I should... hmm..."

"Yup, but it takes a while to recharge, so I can't just run back home in and out all the time, ahaha..."

It takes time for the magic to absorb from the surroundings to fuel the teleportation spell, after all!

"Anyways! Hold on tight! And whatever you do, don't vomit on the floor, okay!?"

With a tap on the book resting on the pedestral, the entire room began to shake lightly, with the lights flickering on and off.

And once the tremors stopped, a quiet stillness lingered in the air.

If Nyalter's hearing were good enough, she could hear the sounds of a crowd going about. Something about... a festival?

But for Chloe, she knew. They had arrived.

They're home, in the Witches' Brew... well, Chloe was, at least. For Nyalter, it felt like the same room, but there was something... different about the atmosphere.

The magic in the area feels thinner, and yet, her body feels lighter, as if she could sprint in an extremely quick speed.

Still, it doesn't look like anyone was around, until...

BANG!

"Hold, knave! To use the teleportation circle to transport you into the Witches' Brew! Tell me, what world did you come from!? One of Tyr's Remnants!? The Thieves' Guild?! I'll send you back to the depths of Hel from whence y-..."

The voice belonged to a short blonde, who was about the size of a fairy, and a bit smaller than Flandre. However, upon seeing the both of them, a smile lit up on her face as she sheathed her weapon.

"... Oh! Salutations, Miss Netherhorn! It's been ages since we've last met! How have you been? And who is this fine lady whom you brought?"

"Ahaha... H-Hi, Lady Ashtart... Nyalter, why don't you introduce yourself? Despite her size, she's a very important perso-"

"Ahem."

"Well- I want to see Rirune more often, so..."

It's kind of the most she can really say about it. She really just wants to be with him more often, and since he sometimes has to visit other people when he visit Gensokyou, she feels like it might be easiest for her to go to him rather than just waiting.

She follows Chloe up the stairs. She doesn't poke around up here too often, she usually stays downstairs in the general area. She hasn't really had any reason to come up here before, so she hasn't put thought about it before.

"So have you had a way home the whole time? I guess it kind of makes sense that it doesn't work all the time though..."

That definitely seems like the sort of thing that would attract attention from either the Gap Youkai or the Shrine Maiden. Still, it's a little bit spooky in here, actually...

"So I just... kind of stand here and you do a thing?"

Nyalter is just about as unfamiliar with magic, so all she can do is guess. Still, it feels like this probably won't be too much of a problem, if Chloe's used it before...

"I mean... I'm probably ready? I'm not sure how to get more ready, so sure. Just go ahead and do the thing, it'll be fine."
