Regarding Yotsutsuji

So I was looking at the kanji of Yotsutsuji's name and it dawned on me: There are a few clues he's Jakurai's assistant.

(For reference, they look like this: 神奈備 衢.)

For starters, the kanji for his first name, usually read chimata, can mean "crossroads". This foreshadows his role in Jakurai's and Ramuda's stories (for the full analysis with spoilers, see the entry I did for the TV Tropes character page under Meaningful Name).

A kannabi is where a god resides, matching how the jinguji (神宮寺) is a Buddhist temple attached to a Shinto shrine.

備 can mean "preparation", "provision" and "equip". (Possibly foreshadowing how Jakurai has to save Ramuda after Yotsutsuji, so Yotsutsuji is some kind of "test run"...?)
