I'm not okay. Took a mental health day to do my part and make some art about it. No matter the opposition, we won't be erased. A world without trans people has never existed, and it never will! 🏳️‍⚧️
May this piece be a small light in the darkness for those in need of comfort and hope. Feel free to share/re-post elsewhere if this resonates with you. Just please make sure you include the alt text!

This isn’t really a question, but your comic in your pinned post means a lot to me. I’m going to be leaving my parents house in a few months, and I have been incredibly torn over what to do next, because they are some of the people who voted against my rights, even if they didn’t know it was me they are hurting. To know that others are experiencing the same thing, and to hear someone else struggle with the idea of keeping someone in vs cutting them out of your life has made me feel less alone, so thank you <3
My heart goes out to you.
I’m truly sorry you’re in this situation. Frankly, I still don’t know what I’m going to do, but it seems like the choice is being made for me by other people in my life.
I don’t want to lose people who are close to me.
I especially don’t want to lose the person that was discussed in the comic. But at the moment, it’s been made clear to me that even though they didn’t vote to exterminate me, they view supporting those who did as ok while me not wanting to share a table with those people makes me the extreme one.
I want to be angry, but I’m really just sad.
We are here for each other.
You are not alone.
We will get through this.

Always and forever.
Here’s a reminder: no professional organization needs to comply with any of his bullshit. They can, and should, resist wholeheartedly. He has no legal authority over the NWSL, PWHL, WNBA, or any other professional league. They DO NOT need to change any of their player inclusion rules and if they do they should are complicit in his terror.
Would also really appreciate seeing more athletes/PAs/teams/leagues saying as much

I'm so scared right now. The government is slowly taking away all of our rights, and I don't have the money or resources to move out of the country
I can't be me, or i'll be killed
I'm scared
I know kid, it's really fuckin shitty, but please don't let things like that consume you.
There are people, good people, out there fightin' for ya.
One breath and one step at a time, kiddo.

keep writing!!!
Tumblr media
(Read on our blog)
Beginning in 1933, the Nazis burned books to erase the ideas they feared—works of literature, politics, philosophy, criticism; works by Jewish and leftist authors, and research from the Institute for Sexual Science, which documented and affirmed queer and trans identities.

Stories tell truths.
These weren’t just books; they were lifelines.
Writing by, for, and about marginalized people isn’t just about representation, but survival. Writing has always been an incredibly powerful tool—perhaps the most resilient form of resistance, as fascism seeks to disconnect people from knowledge, empathy, history, and finally each other. Empathy is one of the most valuable resources we have, and in the darkest times writers armed with nothing but words have exposed injustice, changed culture, and kept their communities connected.

Less than two weeks after the US presidential inauguration, the nightmare of Project 2025 is starting to unfold. What these proposals will mean for creative freedom and freedom of expression is uncertain, but the intent is clear. A chilling effect on subjects that writers engage with every day—queer narratives, racial justice, and critiques of power—is already manifest. The places where these works are published and shared may soon face increased pressure, censorship, and legal jeopardy.
And with speed-run fascism comes a rising tide of misinformation and hostility. The tech giants that facilitate writing, sharing, publishing, and communication—Google, Microsoft, Amazon, the-hellscape-formerly-known-as-Twitter, Facebook, TikTok—have folded like paper in a light breeze. OpenAI, embroiled in lawsuits for training its models on stolen works, is now positioned as the AI of choice for the administration, bolstered by a $500 billion investment. And privacy-focused companies are showing a newfound willingness to align with a polarizing administration, chilling news for writers who rely on digital privacy to protect their work and sources; even their personal safety.
Where does that leave writers?
Writing communities have always been a creative refuge, but they’re more than that now—they are a means of continuity. The information landscape is shifting rapidly, so staying informed on legal and political developments will be essential for protecting creative freedom and pushing back against censorship wherever possible. Direct your energy to the communities that need it, stay connected, check in on each other—and keep backup spaces in case platforms become unsafe.
We can’t stress this enough—support tools and platforms that prioritize creative freedom. The systems we rely on are being rewritten in real time, and the future of writing spaces depends on what we build now. We at Ellipsus will continue working to provide space for our community—one that protects and facilitates creative expression, not undermines it.
Above all—keep writing.
Keep imagining, keep documenting, keep sharing—keep connecting. Suppression thrives on silence, but words have survived every attempt at erasure.

How the Justice League responds to someone coming out as trans
Superman: Calls you brave at least 20 times, slightly tears up that you felt comfortable telling him, super supportive if not a bit much Batman: Has located every trans safe space within your area, has assessed the threats and offers you a weapon to protect yourself Wonder Woman: Trans people are absolutely normal on Themyscria so she doesn't even seem to acknowledge you coming out. Flash: He jokes about being glad because he forgot your name when he saw you. You're 80% sure hes joking at least Aquaman: Plans on getting so drunk that he forgets your deadname ASAP Green Lantern: Asks what your new gender is, intense knowledge of all sorts of gender identities from throughout space. Martian Manhunter: He knew, was waiting for you to process it

Its important to be hot and openly trans, partly because they'll never kill or silence us, partly because young queers need to see adult trans people living proudly but most importantly so you can get free stuff from flustered queer baristas and cashiers

Right, considering the current state of corporate politics on this site, and that it seems that only those affected seem to be actively speaking on the matter, this needs to be dragged out to a wider audience.
This extends to refusing to believe in bogus call-out posts for frankly minuscule thinks such as being horny or kinky, especially if the target is presenting in an ‘unconventional’ manner, (therians, etc.) this double standard where it is seen as ‘degenerate’ for transfemmes to merely exist in certain spaces, yet everyone else is fine to do so is disgusting and part of the reason for the backlash.
PUTTING TERFS DNI IS NOT THE BE ALL AND END ALL, YOU GENUINELY HAVE TO PUT YOUR MORALS OF BEING RESPECTFUL INTO PRACTICE.

REBLOG IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS A TRANSFEM SAFE SPACE.
We need to show these higher ups how much we truly value them.
Edit 1: Changed the wording of the post and decided to put in a reminder.
Edit 2: Further Re-iteration on the wording and format edits.

It is funny. Recently I had a transphobe argue to me, that "well, it is all made up! Animals will still not know that you identify as a man". Which to me is so funny, because while there has never been extensive research done on this topic, there is a lot of anecdotal evidence showing the exact opposite.
As someone who has done a lot of work with animals, I can tell you, that those animals that for one reason or another like one gender more or less than another often show the same loving or hostile behavior towards people completely depending on the gender the people actually identifies as.
"Sure," some people might say, "because if you take hormons you gonna smell like the gender to an animal." But that is the funny part. Animals often act according to that with trans adults who are still in egg mode. Who have not come out yet. And nobody knows why and how they can tell.
But some of the harsher animals with a "gender preference in humans" are like the best trans indicators. You have not admitted to yourself you are a guy? Yeah, this cat is gonna hate you anyways. Because this cat hates men.
Sincerely the guy who got attacked by this one fucking bunny, who didn't like dudes, several times
