Last year's Lan Xichen birthday post: Haven't been able to keep up with my birthday project for a bit due to IRL hecticness" .....That is nearly word for word how I was going to start THIS post off. Guess I have a hectic summer and fall to look forward to next year as well -_- (the gap last year was even also between Wen Qing and Lan Xichen as it was this year!) Papercraft done by @yutaan

Rice paper rolls with

Shredded: tofu, cabbage, carrot, ginger, garlic

Cut: spring onion, mushrooms

^^ first time making! While eating I added soy sauce it was SOOO good 😊 👍

It’s too goddamn motherfucking hot to cook and I cannot eat another salad so I bought a rotisserie chicken, chopped up every vegetable I owned, and broke the shit out of this peanut sauce. Overall, 10/10

It’s got:

Chicken (obvs)

Lettuce

Carrot

Avocado

Jalepeno

Serrano (because some genius decided to start making milder jalepenos)

Mint

Cilantro

Chives

Overall, it took about 10 entire minutes to prepare and was worth every second. Especially since now I don’t have to 1) eat a salad or 2) touch the stove for more than 5 minutes. Sauce broke, but I’m the only person eating and I’m suitably impressed.
