I love how when the Nightwings found out Stonemover was an animus, instead of telling him to make the volcano go inactive or create an entire new home with everything the whole tribe could have ever needed, they told him to make two tunnels so they could spy on other kingdoms and then lost him. It really adds to the pile of evidences for my personal theory that the volcano smoke made them all stupider and no one realized it

My headcanon is that Morrowseer was the one who came up with the tunnel idea and was sort of like Stonemover’s “project overseer” (haha get it morrowSEER)

Stonemover is under a bright full moon

"Sunny, wake up. It's finally here." Sunny jolted awake when she heard her father's creaking voice whispered to her. Sunny was still in the dark cave that she stayed with Stonemover to sleep. She caught the sight of Stonemover surprisingly managed to get up by himself, barely. He pressed himself against the rock wall to keep his balance. Sunny could see his legs was shaking, but he didn't give up to fall on his weak legs yet. Dinner, the enchanted fox, tried his best to support him, whining and nudging his snout in him until Sunny got on her legs. "Come. I want to show something for you, but I need your help first. " Stonemover slowly bowed when Sunny hurriedly went under his heavy wings and leaned on him for the support. "Over there." Stonemover gestured at the spot where the bright and cool moonlight from the hole ceiling, kissing the damp rock walls everywhere in their way. Sunny and Stonemover took their time to move slowly and slowly until Stonemover finally bathed under the cool moonlight. He looked up and smiled at the bright white moon that's visible through the hole. Sunny gasped when she heard the loud cracking from his rock scales. The pieces of his rock scales started falling apart to reveal the shiny clear stone, crystal. He used to have very rough and dull rocks on his neck, but now Stonemover moved to expose his beautiful crystal scales. The light reflection happily danced in the moonlight. "After I got that curse, I discovered something beautiful when every full moon I go under, my curse always revealing how I am when I still have hopes for myself."

Please pardon my English, it's not my first language haha. But anyway :] A while ago I want to draw Stonemover for fun and someone suggested that if his stone became crystal and I thought it would be so cool so that's how it ended up like that hehe. So enjoy!

I like to think that's animus nightwings are mistaken as Leucistic because Whiteout's scale color was dominat in my head. So stonemover looks like he's fully a statue, but really, he's just dusty and has light grey scales. Also, Stonemover doodle :3

What’s some of your Wings of Fire headcanons? or headcanons from other fandoms you’re in? A new favorite of mine is Clay and Glory look shockingly similar despite being from different tribes(for example making very similar expressions when they feel the same emotion) I find it cute

Um I believe that Sunny has like HUGE EARS. Because I headcannon that SandWings have big ears like fennec foxes and other desert animals and NightWings have bat-like ears, which are quite big, so Sunny’s ears are like really big, so she hears a lot of things :]

I also believe that due to Sunny being a hybrid, her bottom canines are either really small or not there, which is the reason her bites don’t due much.

Also Thorn definitely had a somewhat curly sail, and Stonemover loved running his talons through it. (Just look at the way I draw Sunny and imagine Thorn with that kinda sail :])

Moving away from Sunny and her family headcannons, most people imagine all MudWings with tusks, but I like to think only the Bigwings have tusks (or at least big tusks) I also think that ancient mudwings had spiker horns.

SilkWings and HiveWings have compound eyes, and HiveWings have transparent blood like bees, but SilkWings don’t (I imagine the blood trait was from the BeetleWings :])

And I know I have more but they’re not coming to my brain right now 🫠

back at it again with wof designs hi guys

i've always struggled with drawing nightwings for some reason, so if these look wonky i'm sorry 😭 (they're literally like. my 3rd favorite pyrrhian tribe but i can't draw them for the life of me)

i was gonna do only arc 1 characters but i kinda gave up on that so

i meant to make a version of starflight with the burn scars but i forgor 😭😭

Morrowseer being red-ish just makes sense to me, Stonemover is described as being similar to the desert night sky or something so he's more yellow/brown toned

Day 53- Stonemover

Going under the assumption that Blob is still alive in the present day, here are some cool/cute/funny ideas I came up with:

Blob has a cool new timeskip design where he now resembles aged driftwood. Maybe he has some neat moss or something as an accessory.

Turtle discovers him washed up on a beach somewhere and immediately takes him in. Blob mistakes Turtle for Fathom at first, but eventually comes to appreciate him in his own right.

Since Winter already studies intelligence in Scavengers, it's only natural that he discovers Blob is about as intelligent as a dragonet and teaches him how to read and write to communicate.

Blob likes to make crayon drawings for dragons he likes.

Blob can sense animus magic and has an immediate attachment to all animi. (note: I always operate under a rewrite where animus magic is a little bit different and it never got blown up in the microwave.)

Through some wacky series of events, Blob ends up stumbling across and making friends with Stonemover. Stonemover immediately becomes attached to this weird little creature and accumulates a pile of Blob's drawings.
