It's almost the end of the year and I decided to take stock of my work. In principle, this year turned out well, which is very encouraging. Happy New Year and have a nice day! 💕💕💕

something about being loyal/unable to abandon loyalty as a dog would, being a right hand man who obeys your masters every command, being chained to the one you love and he knows it

In part, this would be in the novella, or rather, as I imagine only. Since the codes for the novel are not clear to me, to start development

here's a piece of advice for fan fic writers or writers in general so keen on using ai - you can become a better writer. it takes time and practice, it won't happen over night. any kind of writing takes effort to do, that's what makes even the smallest drabbles special. over time it'll come more naturally, it's a muscle that you train and maintain.
the thing is that you can only get better! you can't get any worse at writing when you start on the ground floor! you can learn; read, observe, practice. share work with friends, even if they don't read it. find methods that work for you and set reasonable time frames. it's a learning process. your first work will be shit and probably your second work too! but that's fine, the fun part of learning is that you can only get better. a million "bad" drafts, all learned upon to make something "good". there are not many things that only go up in this world, but if you're keen on being a good writer then that line of progress will only go up.
ai will not make you a better writer, a computer will not give you the soul you desire in your work. you are stitching together scraps made by other people, it's like a cake being made out of leftover cake from weeks prior smashed together. - it's disgusting, no one wants it.
finding your creative identity in any medium - original or fan works - takes time and a computer will never create that identity for you. be gluttonous with your reading consumption, be hungry for any kind of art. learn. learn. learn. even if the concept of a soul is fake, there will still be a soul in your work - built and created by the hours you took to learn and get better. it's not too late to start, it's never too late to start. learning didn't end when you left school - there's still time.
in the words of my high school creative writing teacher it's only too late when you're dead.

i really appreciate in sekiro how fromsoft made it so youre never wondering who tf youre fighting or why when it comes to the big bosses. i dont have to stop and open up the wiki to figure out why i should care about fighting owl
that being said, the early game struggles to set up bosses before you fight them because, yanno, you just got here. so the final boss gets to be a 20/10 satisfying climatic showdown, but the first(-ish) boss is essentially horseback john cena

What was the point of Scrooge's trip with the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come? On a structural level, it makes sense--three is the fairy tale number, and you can't visit the past and present without also including the future--but on a character level, it doesn't quite seem necessary. Showing a man that he'll die alone, unloved, and unmourned seems like the strategy you take as the last-ditch effort to convince a guy that he needs to change his ways. But that situation doesn't apply to Scrooge. He started softening immediately after he first arrived in his past. By the time he finished with the Ghost of Christmas Present, he was fully onboard with the need to reform, so the Ghost's vision of his future seems like unnecessary cruelty. Why show him all this when he was already planning to change his ways?
A few things come to mind. One is that this vision of the future wouldn't have affected Scrooge unless he had already changed his ways. A cold, hard businessman could have seen his lonely death as just the way of the world, might have viewed the people who stole the clothes from his corpse as just people doing what's practical in this world. He needed to relearn the value of the intangibles--human connection, respect for others--to see the true horror of the lonely death and the vultures who defiled the dead man.
But why the horror? Can't he reform without being threatened with doom? It's possible--but it's also possible such a reform would be temporary. After all, Scrooge started as a friendly, loving young man, but retreated into himself and his business out of fear of poverty and fear of the way the world looks down upon poor people. Even if a reformed Scrooge started on a course of Christmas charity, there was always a chance that the enthusiasm would fade, and the worldly fears would start creeping back in. The only way to beat those fears is to give him something to fear that's even worse than poverty. He needs to see the horrible end that his selfish ways would lead to, so he won't be tempted to slide back into them.
There's also the fact that seeing his death makes him ecstatically happy to find that he's alive after the Ghost is gone. Had Scrooge been spared the vision of his future, he might have been happy to find himself on Christmas Day, but his joy would have been nowhere near the manic glee he experiences after coming back from the future. Now, he doesn't just get a new start--he gets a second chance. Coming back from his own grave makes him mindful of his death, but it also makes him hyperaware of the fact that he's still alive. He isn't in the ground yet. He still has time to do good and make connections with others so he doesn't die alone.
Seeing the past reminded him of the innocence he'd lost. Seeing the present reminded him of the people whose lives he was missing out on. Seeing the future reminded him that death is waiting, so it's important to live virtuously while we can. All three are important because all three brought him outside of himself and taught him to value the wider world, just in time to live through another Christmas Day.

hello lu fandom i have started falling back into lu and i have thoughts on wild again
anyways i think that there are a few members of the chain that don't trust wild or give him the ability to demonstrate his own abilities. and i imagine it would be frustrating for wild to constantly be held at arm's length or constantly be yelled at for doing things incorrectly. legend, time, and warriors are the worst for this.
this post by @luna-loveboop (sorry for the tag!) discusses how warriors tends to view wild and how wild acts in response to that. wars has been shown to hold wild to the standard of one of his soldiers, which is not something he does with any of the other links. in turn, wild doesn't really know how to act around or talk to warriors. legend (although he has been shown to joke around with wild from time to time) doesn't seem like he really likes wild much, let alone trusts him. leg's always calling wild things like "crazy" and insinuating that wild is too uncivilized and routinely nitpicks the way he does things. time, right now, is just on edge so he's more of a hardass than usual. he and wild tend to get along well, but i personally tend to headcanon that there's still a lack of trust in there.
i think it can be insulting to wild when he's a hero in his own right, who woke up with nothing one day and was told to save the world. yes, his methods are different from a lot of the others' methods but that's the nature of his game(s). i think the way that legend and warriors routinely treat wild is the most telling and the most likely to cause issues. wild hasn't said anything about this yet. either he doesn't want to cause a problem or he just hasn't noticed.
