Next Generation was my intro into the Star Trek Universe. It is more serious that the original franchise, and Picard's style of leadership add to this. He encourages all crew members to help out in scenarios, using their strengths together.

This is a year-long commitment but I'm up for the challenge.

I had to do a *script writing exercise,* so I was like "what if I wrote a Star Trek TNG scene in the style of The Office/Parks and Rec" and it's BAD please help lol it's a lot of fuckery so I put it under the cut...and of course, it's nsfw because the plot is basically:

I always love how Geordi is never truly weirded out by anything Data does or specifically if he does something strange when learning human behavior. Everyone else just gives Data this look because their weirded out but Geordi just looks at him and raises an eyebrow, and yeah he could be giving him the look behind his visor as well as the rest of them but I don't think so. He's never weirded out by Data's Data-ness just mildly surprised and questions him like "What do mean Data?" in a gentle voice

I am completely obsessed with this moment of Patrick Stewart and Brent Spiner being SUCH theatre actors. Just the stagey-est performance of "eating soup" you've ever seen. Borderline too much business with the soup. Picard sniffing the soup. Picard making a "gross" face while Data makes a "not bad" face. Data shooting little glances at Picard to make sure he's doing it right. Perfection. 🤌
