After airing the last two episodes ("Opening Night" and "Final Curtain") back-to-back during its second (and final) season on Disney XD, The Spectacular Spider-Man ended on loose ends before the fans of the show could get a third season (let alone a fourth a fifth) could be produced to continue where Season 2 left off.

Unfortunately, as of 2023 (and this year), Spidey's cameo in Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse revealed some potential spoilers that were considered, regardless of them watching every episode or not.

Ryan Seacrest is replacing Pat Sajak as host of "Wheel of Fortune." Seacrest, who also currently hosts "American Idol," will take over hosting duties from Sajak, who recently announced he was stepping down from the position after the upcoming 41st season of the beloved game show, beginning in 2024. "I'm truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak," Seacrest, 48, wrote in a statement posted to Instagram on Tuesday. "I can say, along with the rest of America, that it's been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vanna on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them." [...] Seacrest, who said he is "grateful" for the opportunity," went on to talk about how the move feels "full circle" for him, as he reflected on one of his "first jobs": hosting the short-lived game show "Click" from Merv Griffin from 1997 to 1999. Amazon's college-centric The Boys spin-off does a fine job of paralleling the same satirically violent streak of gruesomely subversive superhero depravity transplanted to the sex and party-fuelled environment of a university campus. It's an altogether fun extension of this surreal vision of a twisted comic book television universe, with its queer satire firmly planted in debaucherous behaviour on the part of its complex characters, not totally unlike something like Riverdale. Gen V impresses through its tonal consistency while fitting nicely in an established existing world.
