Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a spin-off of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. The turtles will have to balance their lives as new high schoolers and crime fighters in New York...and someone wanting to kill them and all mutants, naturally.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars returning voice actors Nicolas Cantu (Leonardo), Brady Noon (Raphael), Micah Abbey (Donatello), Shamon Brown Jr. (Michelangelo), and Ayo Edebiri (April O'Neil). The series is produced by Nickelodeon Animation and Seth Rogan's Point Grey Pictures.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will release on Paramount+ on August 9, 2024.

A new The Boys series spinoff, The Boys: Mexico, is in the works at Amazon.

Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer (Blue Beetle) is writing the script and executive producing. Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal are set to executive produce and are considering taking on acting roles though neither would be major roles. A search is currently underway for a co-showrunner.

The team behind The Boys: Mexico, which will be shot in the Latin American country, is working on budgets for the new series and they have yet to begin casting. Details regarding the premise are being kept under wraps.

Amazon's college-centric The Boys spin-off does a fine job of paralleling the same satirically violent streak of gruesomely subversive superhero depravity transplanted to the sex and party-fuelled environment of a university campus. It's an altogether fun extension of this surreal vision of a twisted comic book television universe, with its queer satire firmly planted in debaucherous behaviour on the part of its complex characters, not totally unlike something like Riverdale. Gen V impresses through its tonal consistency while fitting nicely in an established existing world.
