Something I forget a lot is that other people are just people. Their thoughts, words and actions don’t have any power over me unless I allow them to. And most people are actually quite more understanding than I assume. My negative thought patterns are the enemy, not other people. 💜

So high rn but I can’t stop thinking about how my social anxiety has gotten so much better since I started meditating consistently. For example, as I’m meeting new people at my university, I’ve been doing this thing that old me would cringe at. When someone asks me a question, I give them a bit more detail than what they asked for. Obviously there are times where this isn’t rlly appropriate but this is how more topics of conversation grow. This is how people learn about each other. This is how relationships grow. I’m having so much fun, socializing isnt that bad, just gotta move on and let things go when things go wrong. No big deal! I can do anythingggggg!!!
