Why in modern settings is Crowley always the Sexy Lingerie one and Aziraphale the Plain Boring Underwear one. The leading factor in Crowley's design is that she's Modern, sometimes "alternative" (yknow, corp goth) but always Modern. Aziraphale, on the other hand, is always old-fashioned, with the book making note of her tastes falling towards the 1950s. A lot of Sexy Lingerie (or at least what I think is sexy) is a lot of stockings and garters and girdles and corsets, all evocative of the mid-century in some way, while most modern underwear is very utilitarian, even high-end stuff. This entire post is a psyop to get someone, somewhere, to draw more corset-and-stockings Aziraphale posthaste
