The amazing @countandra mentioned to me his idea for a grownup Boo/Maria meeting Randall again and face her fears.

And that reminded me of the best movie trope ever! Girls embracing their “unattractive” qualities in the form of making friends with a monster manifestation of them.👏 Think: Drop Dead Fred, Your Monster or Pretzel Jack.

So here’s Boo being haunted by her old monster lizard! And he’s gonna teach her to be more confident/assertive or something at her workplace! And possibly advocate for embezzlement, but she’s just gonna ignore that part…

rewatching monsters inc and sully n mike were such an old married couple. met in college (and they were roommates). they worked as a team and lived together for decades despite being independently wealthy. they sat in the living room watching tv in the evenings. their front door was custom made so they could walk out at the same time. drove/walked to work together. well well well well

Is Michael/Helen considerable as a monster inc monster given the door thing?

Hmmmm. Honestly I suspect Michael must be a massive inconvenience. They have this huge factory dedicated to sourcing, linking and organising doors and then this one guy keeps popping up all over the place messing with people. He keeps interfering with scares/laughs, staff keep getting lost not to mention that we don't know if his laughter can interfere with their power systems. Honestly I suspect they'd have to invest in some exterminators, put down some bait and try and trap him or something.
