hi my newest obsession is the original tangled concept art and im gonna talk about it

LOOK AT THIS. LOOK AT IT. This is so much cooler than the version we got in the movie.

STUNNING. So sad this scene wasn't in the final version.

In almost all of the early concept art Rapunzel's color is GREEN. NOT PURPLE. GREEN. And mother gothel was supposed to look a lot creepier-

WE COULD HAVE GOTTEN A TRADITIONAL DARK FAIRY TALE.

The original idea for the city???? IM FLOORED. DEAD. SO FULL OF LIFE. and she's wearing greeen.

oh look Rapunzel and Eugene. what color is Rapunzel wearing? FUCKING GREEN AGAIN OH MY GOD.

THE ORIGINAL FLOATING LANTERNS PAINTING. she is also again. WEARING GREEN.

I'm assuming this was an original idea for the floating lantern scene. pointing it out again- Rapunzel is again green coded. The kingdom emblem is about the same tho that's cool.

So maximus was originally SUPPOSED TO BE BLACK. still looks just as silly tho love him
