15 years ago today Eric “Victor Surge��� Knudsen posted two images to the “Create Paranormal Images” thread of the SomethingAwful forums, resulting in other posters building off his creation and leading to an online horror phenomenon!

Slender Man shows the power of online community creation and it’s lead to so many good things in my own life including some of dearest close friends. Here’s to many more years! 🖤

Despite being a parasitic wolf demon, HABIT absolutely loves cats.

i.e the scene where Noah is teleported to his house. The one.

HABIT is all over that cat the second it's coming up to him. He's calling it "precious", believe me.

But with Slender around? HABIT will bite Slenderman's hand off if he even tries to take more attention from the cat.

Slenderman may be stronger than HABIT, but the purple fucker has sass.

Presumably, he's in Evan's form.

He's gnashing and on all fours if Slenderman tries to take the cat. Feral.

Slenderman tries to impose on HABIT, but really just gives up. Best not to fuck with the demon that's actively trying to break your abilities.

Okay, so first off, in this fic, the creepypastas would count as their “own pantheon” as to explain their existence to the gods.

I got inspired by THE Nicoby fic on AO3 called “Nico and the Creepypastas” which is actually the FIRST EVER Nico/Toby fic on AO3.

In said fic, Nico runs away from camp at the age of fourteen, he can’t handle it, he can’t handle the pressure, so he runs, ends up in Slenderman’s forest and ends up at his mansion, cue him meeting the Creepypasta’s.

Nico and Percy had a falling out in this fic, but they managed to build things back up, even if they barely see each other in person nowadays as Nico rarely stays in camp and Percy’s already done with university.

Nico and Toby have been dating for a while now, only the Creepypasta’s and Hades’ associates know, + Persephone + Leo, none of the demigod know as of the moment.

Leo and Nat have been dating for a while now too, they ended up getting introduced to one another by Nico and Toby.

None of the demigods know that Nat and also are dating, they all assumed that Leo isn’t over his shitty break up with Calypso, and when Leo is gonna show up with a plus one they’ll all assume that he and Calypso got back together, not knowing that he’s got a new girlfriend.

I remember reading somewhere about the idea for a PJO X Creepypasta crossover where Sally and Paul know about Slenderman, mainly because Slenderman IS going to be an eldritch horror monster that people know about because of those scary campfire stories.

So when they meet Toby and Nat they both end up going:

“What the fuck…? He’s real…?!”

Paul can see Slenderman, the Mist isn’t doing anything, I stand by that.

There’s gonna be some Will! Bashing, AND there’s gonna be some Calypso! Bashing too.

Without putting out so many spoilers I say that this is it for now.
