I beg y'all, if you wanna write an essay - or worse, a tutorial for others to use - about characters' speech patterns, base it on original text, NOT on a translation.

One Piece is originally written in Japanese. No one there speaks southern accent or Australian or Brazilian or whatever. They speak Japanese, with its dialects, accents and the like. Translation is an interpretation of original text, often *on purpose* moving away from the original for the sake of translator's stylistic choices. It's NOT a good source, if you want to focus on what AUTHOR originally intended.
