💤 What's their sleep schedule like?

Lyn sleeps as near to seven hours a day as she can. When these hours occur changes depending on what's happening. Intellectually she understands that sleep is important, but also part of her likes to think she can push it off and just... be fine

We'll see if she learns better

She has a habit of unpacking and repacking her bag every night before she sleeps, though, to ensure everything's still there and nothing needs immediate attention/repairs

it's just really funny to me to imagine Fabian actually being a great big brother honorable nemesis.

like, putting a nemesis ward on the nursery with aelwyn's help since "it won't do if they die before their eighteenth birthday, will it?" (aelwyn, deeply sarcastic: "well of course, that is exactly why I put the ward on adaine's room." fabian, too deep in denial for sarcasm: "see? you get it")

gifting them a battle sheet baby blanket since they should start preparing for their battle early on (and yes it's extra fluffy, it's for a baby stop laughing everybody)

generally trying to teach them everything he knows "so their battle to the death will be a fair one"

giving their adventuring party the same lecture on tactics that the bad kids got from his papa

hunting down chungledown bim and any other nemesis so his sibling is the only one who could get a piece of his fund (he just wants it to stay in the family, shut up)

just. fabian being an amazing big brother but also if you call him that to his face he will cut you

hey wouldn't it be fun to give Hunter a bunch of Grimwalker things that no one but Belos knew about and everyone assumes is just Belos being cruel until they try something different and then it turns out it was actually necessary for Hunter's wellbeing?

so like one day Hunter mentions never having ice-scream or cake or really any other type of dessert. and everyone's like "that's so sad we have to get him ice-scream right away." but then Hunter spends the next couple hours being violently ill and it turns out Grimwalkers can't handle processed sugar

or he was never allowed to go to the healers when he was injured and he always had to stitch himself up (or Belos would do it sometimes if it was bad enough). and everyone's completely horrified because that's terrible and evil and what could the point of that be except to make Hunter go through more pain? and then someday he breaks a leg or something and they take him to the healers and it just. doesn't work. nothing happens. and it turns out healing magic is completely ineffective on Grimwalkers

anyway I think it would be fun to make the line between what was care and what was abuse a little blurry every now and again

Scoria and Sakura are best friends! It's so cute when I see the things they do together, and it makes me so beyond happy that they both came to live with me so that they could share their lives with each other. They absolutely insist on it, and does so much good for the other.

I can't imagine how else they could have found happiness if things hadn't worked out exactly as they did. Scoria has basically been Sakura's "emotional support snake" while she worked through things from her past I'll never fully know that caused her a lot of issues with panic and fear. Sakura knows this too, and looks out for her sister, the only one she truly trusts and feels completely safe with.

The moment they wake up they both want each other to snuggle and play with. Scoria loves to be affectionate with both me and her sister who seems to have not had this earlier in her life- but Scoria is showing her how nice it is not only directly but demonstrating with me and Sakura also trying, copying what she has seen her sister do.

Sometimes when one goes to check on the other they'll join in on... I'm not even sure what they were doing. But they had a good time while taking a mandated union break from digging tunnels for the isopods.

So happy I get to share in the adventures of these two best friends! It makes me so happy to see them living their best lives together, and being beyond content snuggled together with their found family.

what got you so into pulling slight pranks like the pictures actually being gifs stuff

short answer is last year when I came back to tumlr for awhile i made this gif for that yugioh reblog

and people started commenting in the tags about how they felt they were losing their minds not realizing it was a gif at first so I got really into the idea of how I could play with the website itself as a medium to illicit a distorted perception of things. not out of malice. It a sort of vicarious thing for me.

You know when you were really young (before internet access) and playing a weird video game and u didn’t know why things were happening the way they were because you hadn’t quite grasped the concept of game development, or like whether or not something was a glitch or intentional (I played a lot of majoras mask and morrowind as a young kid) that’s kinda the feeling I like to bristle against.

rus who feels like him and ame Deserve any kind of crazy mutual death scenario they get in but above all else feels he's Earned Ame☺️ earned himself an ame to deliver consequences for his wrongs and an ame to warm his hands on. and they're the same ame. feels entitled to ame the way a person who's been trekking through a snowy forest deserves a place at your campfire. don't ask what they're doing this far into the woods. they earned that spot by making it this far.

i wouldn't be surprised if you've posted about this before (and that's awesome) but i wanna know more about how you think eiffel sleeps. side sleeper? back sleeper? curl up? take up a lot of space? move around a lot? do you think he wakes up in funny positions? does he need light and noise to fall asleep or do light and noise prevent him from falling asleep? aaaaand anything else you can think of

oh, definitely moves around. he gets himself cozy and wrapped up under the covers, but he's generally sweaty and kind of a human space heater, so he ends up kicking everything off the bed in the middle of the night and then wakes up sprawled in the optimized position to give himself a cramped neck all day. sometimes this means he wakes up cold in the middle of the night and repeats the process. snoring loudly, of course. he canonically snores. has probably snored loudly enough to wake himself up before. drools at least sometimes. he's a restless sleeper and he never feels properly rested when he wakes up.

when he first moved out on his own, i think he liked the idea of being a guy who sleeps in a hammock, but he didn't think about the logistics of it at all and it made him miserable. he probably wanted a waterbed, but avoided whatever disaster would've happened if he'd actually managed to get one. he's a mattress on the floor with no bedframe type of guy. multiple pillows. sleeps in his underwear, at most, if he doesn't just pass out in his clothes.

he has a hard time falling asleep when he intends to sleep - he's overcaffeinated, his mind is always going, and he self-sabotages - but he can still somehow fall asleep just about anywhere, and once he's out he's completely dead to the world. he definitely doesn't like complete darkness/silence; if there's one thing eiffel is not good at it's being alone with his thoughts. he's probably used to falling asleep with the tv on; he's fallen asleep on the couch many many times. the background noise on the hephaestus takes some getting used to.

he definitely talks in his sleep; i think he's the kind of person you can have a full conversation with while he's responding from within his dreams. hera finds it really amusing to ask him questions while he's sleeping, and when he wakes up he'll tell her she was in his dream, and she'll just be like, "oh, really?" when he shares a bed, he's a full-body cuddler, but he still manages to steal the entire blanket and - again - throws it off the bed in the middle of the night.
