I finally finished my only piece for Soriku week like... a full week after I meant to post it. It only took like a full month from sketch to finish.

If this looks familiar, that's because it's a remake of this piece from last year which I have always been incredibly dissatisfied with.

Also, I used this tutorial to accomplish the stained glass effect here which was really useful!

I want Riku to confess to Sora in only the cheesiest, most awkward of ways

this bitch learns another language, writes a detail and poetic confession, puts that in a bottle and makes sure it floats towards Sora, then fakes his death and skips town before Sora has a chance to even begin translating the letter

I found out I missed Soriku week. But, I decided to just do it late! Time is a social construct, anyway. The first prompt is "hollow," so this is inspired by the lighting in Hollow Bastion in Kingdom Hearts II. I haven't practiced digital painting much; my style is usually more toony. Something to work on!
