Finding a certain Someone...
One full week of drawings posted, but I'm still not done yet. Cause there's one more after this, something I've been wanting to post for over a year, but first lets go into this post.
There's a certain archetype that I've been wanting to put in the TrWh Outlaw team, and that's the 'Superman' type hero. Someone clearly strong, with powers that can be similar, and give off that certain 'super' vibe. In canon it was Bizzaro, a failed superman clone. He exists in my au, but being an adult was obviously not what I wanted. Perhaps in the future he can join the team tho. There are also a couple of current members that could sorta fit the mold but weren't quite what I was looking for. Like Grant Emerson and Gillian Wahrman for example, Gillian ended up filling a different archetype tho.
Tumblr media
Grant esp kinda came close, esp when you factor his older self seen in Sins of Youth. His older self seemed more secure and when his emotions stabilized he could even fly, he really gave off that superman attitude. He never really got there as he actually matured in the comics, if anything his life got shitter so he's still a ways off from this mature ideal. At any rate he didn't quite fit the bill for me, sorry Grant.
Tumblr media
Another idea was Lindsey Wah aka Aura, you can find her in Superboy and the Ravers. She had magnetic powers so she could be pretty strong, but I'm not sure if she was strong enough for what I wanted.
She's kinda a party girl but I thought that would make her fun in a way, wanting to both party and help people. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought she didn't quite have that 'spark' with the others that I wanted. In fact, I was kinda thinking she should join the Young Justice team when it forms in my au, she's already friends with Kon through the ravers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Three random characters here, but I'm gonna focus on Sierra ? aka Matrix II. The other two I can talk about another time. Look at Sierra bothering Linda Danvers, speaking of, her story is super convoluted. Kinda had trouble following it tbh.
Sierra was part of Lex Luthor's pet team, Infinity Inc. II (crazy how you can just buy names rights like that), she proved to be a total coward, but I kinda find coward characters fun in their own way (think of like Usopp form One Piece). There could be a character arc for her, where she learns to become more braver and heroic as she grows. But in the end, I didn't go for her. She didn't have enough fire power for me, I still do like her. Maybe she could ally up with team at another point?
Tumblr media
Captain Marvel is a superman expy himself, so having his arch nemesis's sidekick could be something that could work. This hero is Amon Tomaz aka Osiris. I thought the way Amon tried desperately to become a hero but everything was just stacked against him endeared him to me, that struggle to be what he wants to be is something that I think fits him with the Outlaws. Amon came close but I still wanted someone closer to the Superman mythos. He might join the team at a later time or ally up with them.
Tumblr media
David's story from World's Finest is so sad, it a genuine tragedy what happens to him, though he does sorta get a happy ending. It's pretty obvious that his story and teenage look is modeled after Jason (almost blatantly so), so it should be expected that he could be what I'm looking for?
I did think about it for a hot second, but if you read World's Finest then you see he starts off in Dick's age group, making him too old for me. I suppose it doesn't matter since World's Finest is elseworld (I think?), but that's what sticks in my head. He came really close too, aw well.
Also I tried to copy Mora's style as best I could, esp tried to copy that :] type of smile he sometimes does. It's a really cute quirk of his work I noticed lol.
Tumblr media
This one is more of a joke, having Superboy prime as a candidate but I was never gonna go for that. I don't think he would enjoy being part of my goofy au honestly.
I started getting a little desperate for what I wanted, it felt like my standards were just too high and specific. I even start to go into making oc's to fit what I wanted, like these:
Tumblr media
This was a oc created to be a sorta legacy/sidekick for Maxima, who was a kinda a anti-hero (with the hots for Superman). I made her personality more reserved and calm to contrast with Maxima. But still not what I needed, I'd still like for her to exist in my au, maybe as an ally of sorts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another oc, Starsha was a character I created years ago, she was a part of fanfic 'idea' where Jason meets an alien girl to be friends with. Separate from the Training Wheels au, and I think she might've been created before all that too. The story for her goes that she was a robot from space that crash landed on earth and Jason has the difficult task of hiding her from her creator and from Bruce. It eventually goes bad and Starsha dies trying to protect Jason (in a explosion, calling forward to Jason's eventual death). She eventually comes back when Jason's older, and is kinda meant to replace Starfire in a new52 style outlaw team.
I thought maybe I could transplant her to my au, Starsha had just about everything I wanted it seemed. But having an oc for my 'superman' just didn't fell right and I though I could just keep looking in the comics. Then!!
Then I did! I found someone perfect!!
Tumblr media
And that someone I'm gonna talk about tomorrow!

So this is ENTIRELY the fault of @anotherhumanpet but at least I had fun after figuring out how the hell to make the layers cooperate
Honestly this whole thing is entirely made for irony, seeing as my version of Sierra has had one 'relationship' with Vince that was more a Social Expectations thing than real interest, and since joining Team Prime her eye has pretty much settled on Jack for crush material and isn't budging

Fallout Casting for Ryomen Sukuna Matata for Jujutsu Kaisen Abridged react fic
Tumblr media
"Fuck school! Be crime! Do gay!" - Ryomen Sukuna, Episode 2 JJK Abridged (by the Schmuck Squad).
Tumblr media
Reasons To Why I Believe These Characters Should Be Casted listed below the cut:
Richard Grey/The Master (the leader of the Super Mutant Army and the main antagonist of Fallout (1997), seeking to evolve humanity into super mutants with the Forced Evolutionary Virus (FEV), however, is stopped by the Vault Dweller, Elrand Brandt, and his companions via the power of persuasion) -> Mostly the grotesque way his body is morphed and stuff, but you can imagine his mouth opening on Ryder's body like Sukuna does on Itadori's body.
Sulik (a tribal looking to save his sister in Fallout 2, was saved by the Chosen One, Finidy Mona, and joined her as a companion to find the GECK, while she also helps him save his sister from slavers) -> It's mostly his tattoos that got me to choose him as a potential candidate.
Stanislaus Braun (the Overseer of Vault 112 in Fallout 3, Braun is a sadistic old man who regularly tortures his captives in a world of virtual reality, but had known the location and use of the GECK, which lead James Dolen to seek him out (only to be transformed into a dog), but was later outwitted by Alph inside the VR world and Amata from within Vault 112) -> Evil for the sake of being evil? Hates a kid for no reason? Would definitely take over somebody's body if given the chance? Sukuna candidate.
Yes Man (a securitron Benny had tampered with to help him overthrow House, is key to the Independent Vegas ending of Fallout New Vegas. Courier Six, aka Ryder, finds him in Benny's penthouse, and teams up with the securitron to save Benny from Caesar and overthrow House together) -> Listen he's too cheery for his own good. And sarcastic too. Like Abridged Sukuna.
DiMA (the synth co-leader of Acadia in Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC. He is also the "brother" of Nick Valentine, the person who gets the Sole Survivor, Nate, to admit that he's likely a synth himself and has been involved in the sketchy shit around Far Harbor) -> Though the least potent candidate, what cannot be denied is that DiMA disregards everything about morality when it comes to doing what he thinks is the ways things should be.
The Scorchbeast Queen (the motherfucking progenitor of the Scorched disease and the final boss of Fallout 76 (if players nuke her nest at Fissure Site Prime). The Resident, Vega, only survives her encounter with the Scorchbeast Queen because of the FEV that had partly transformed her) -> She looks as ugly as Sukuna's fingers.
John Henry Eden (the President who runs the Enclave in Fallout 3, has all the personalities of the past presidents copied and downloaded into his A.I. He intended to use the water purifier to release a modified FEV into the water to kill anyone with a trace of radiation in them. He attempted to get Amata onboard with this plan, but since it would technically kill Alph, Amata convinced the president to give her the virus to "use" and tricked Eden into self-destructing and run like hell while Raven Rock fell down around her, towards Alph and his companions who were fighting outside trying to get to her inside) -> Eden and Sukuna are all aboard the murder express.
Dean Domino (one of Ryder's temporary companions in Fallout New Vegas Dead Money DLC. He was friends with Frederick Sinclair and had used Vera Keyes to get him one step closer to the Sierra Madre vault, however America being nuked interrupted this heist and lead him to being ghoulified, and while trying to get into the Sierra Madre, had been forced by Father Elijah to help him get into the resort. Dean eventually betrays Ryder inside the Sierra Madre, having been unable to comprehend someone could be as smart as him, which leads to him getting filled with lead) -> Dean Domino is a selfish bastard, Ryomen Sukuna is a selfish bastard.
Dr Klein (a brain apart of the Think Tank in Fallout New Vegas Old World Blues DLC, he was the director of the Big MT. His speakers are set on a loud volume and he is quite an arrogant punk. Klein and the rest of the Think Tank had vivisected Ryder, taking her heart and spine (and losing her brain to Dr. Mobius) and would only allow her to leave if she dealt with Mobius and gave them the resources to explore the Mojave from the safety of Big MT) -> As loud as Abridged Sukuna is.
Ishmael Ashur (the leader of the Pitt in Fallout 3 The Pitt DLC, though he is the big boss of slavers and raiders, Ashur is trying to humanely find a cure for the Trog which his daughter Marie seems to be immune to. However, the Lone Wanderer, Alph's appearance in the Pitt shakes things up) -> If Ashur just lost his benevolent intentions behind his actions and was doing things for the evils, he could be a lot like Sukuna.
God (the alter who acts as the "conscience" to a nightkin called Dog in Fallout New Vegas Dead Money DLC, he looks out for Dog and wants to kill Father Elijah so badly. Ryder helps both Dog and God make peace with each other and merge them both into a new personality) -> God is the voice in Dog's head, and his voice is quite menacing. Like Sukuna, though Sukuna is more malevolent than God.
Remember, for the alternative option, REBLOG and put in the tags WHO else from the Fallout franchise should be Abridged!Megumi and WHY you think they'd better suit the role. Also if there is a tie, then a repost will be made with only the tied candidates, and you'd have to pick from them.
I've also created and will continue to update (until the polling is done) a Master List for the poll results of the casted winners. You can find it right here.
You can find my Fallout OC profiles Master List right here, which also includes a link to the original post where I pitched my react fic idea. Anyway, hope you enjoyed, chow!

🌙,☂️,🖌 for whoever you choose
🌙 - What’s their sleep schedule like?
Sierra used to keep herself to a pretty reliable schedule of eight hours a night, in bed by eleven and up at seven for school, broken only on nights when she and her former friend group would sneak out to backroad races. Since joining Team Prime and setting most of her old activities aside, the schedule's gotten a bit wonkier, but she still tries to more or less maintain it.
Cliffjumper's been a solider long enough he recharges when and where he can, 'cause there are always weeks when those opportunities don't really happen.
☂️ - How do they feel about rain?
Funny you should ask - both used to be fairly ambivalent about it, until the thunderstorm that caused them to first meet and eventually become partners. Now, any time rain rolls through, it puts a fond smile on both their faces.
🖌️ - Do they have any hobbies?
With Cliff's encouragement, Sierra has started to pick back up some fun things she left behind as a kid - the kind of stuff that didn't fit the stereotypical image of a 'Popular Girl'. So far, the biggest one to stick is a game that's part tabletop roleplaying, part choose your own adventure, where half the fun is putting a character together even before starting to run them through campaigns. There's a book series that goes with it, too, which has more additions since Sierra stopped reading in sixth grade, and she's enjoyed tearing through the new novels.
Cliffjumper likes figuring out what questions to ask about The Lore that send her down a long rambling rant, complete with carefree gestures and exclamations.

"...yeah, okay. I guess I can't argue with that." Sierra considers what she does know about other universes that look similar to her own, and starts counting off on her fingers. "So- I know Unicron is at the center of the Earth, but that's weird outside our corner of the multiverse; more Decepticons are probably going to show up in the next couple of months, and at least a few of them die one way or another; Starscream ends up on his own for a while? And either joins us or keeps doing his own thing or steals some stuff from Team Prime to get back onto Megatron's good side."
...maybe Starscream doesn't really count, then, since he seems to do something different in every timeline.
"Uh. I know the fighting's supposed to end in, like, less than a year. And then other problems will happen, because problems are always happening, but eventually Bots and Cons start getting along and fixing up Cybertron, sometimes keeping in touch with old human friends and- sometimes not."
"Nothing!" He insists with a firm tone, batting at her hand with the back of his own. "It's weird space time continuum stuff and I don't wanna mess with it, ya know?"

Hi Silkling, could you please write a TFP story where Sierra discovers the Autobot's secret and joins up with Team Prime? TFP never really did much with her, and I think that a shame. I think Smokescreen would make a good partner for her.
Absolutely! Great to see you again in my ask box! :D your last prompt was super fun to write to, so I’m looking forward to this one! Now, I admit, I never paid much attention to Sierra, and the show didn’t give us a lot to work with, so I’m going to have to come up with some of her characterization. And I agree. So I’m mashing her with Smokescreen. It’s gonna a be great. I love Smokescreen very much! I even have a whole AU of my own for him. He’s a tiny happy dumbass and since Sierra has basically no canon personality, I can make her be his long-suffering but still very fond best friend.
———————————————————————————————————
Sierra had been having a good day. Emphasis on the word had. It was the weekend. She had packed a small picnic, grabbed her favorite book, and hopped on her bike. She’d ridden out to the popular hiking trails, intending to take a short hike and finding a nice place to spend the afternoon with a her novel and her snacks. The sun was out, the weather was great, and she had nothing to do today. It was perfect. So, of course, the laws of the universe demanded that something go wrong.
‘Murphy is a cruel bastard and and I’m going to punch him in the face when I see him in the afterlife.’ She thought viciously, staring up at the hulking titan that had just crushed her lunch and bike under a single massive metal foot with a sense of numb disbelief. ‘At least I still have the book.’ She ignored how the thought echoed with a note of hysteria as she shoved said book into the messenger bag over her shoulder.
“Are you Sierra O’Niell?”
She was only slightly surprised when the massive robot spoke. Because why wouldn’t the giant robot that had just moments ago been a jet be able to speak? Honestly, what even was her life at this point. She was more concerned with the fact that the thing knew her name. Her initial instinct was the demand how it knew her name. But she’d seen the movies. She knew that would only confirm it’s suspicions.
“Who?” she forced herself to ask instead, surprising herself with how steady her voice was. It was the shock, she told herself. It had to be. It was making her emotionally numb. “What are you?”
The robot seemed startled, before it snarled something that was most definitely a curse. It started speaking, though not to her, and it took Sierra a moment to realize it must have been talking over some sort of built in communication system. “-wrong human, Soundwave! This pathetic fleshling you pointed out to me doesn’t even know who I am talking about.” It paused. “What do you mean it’s not the wrong human? I just told you-“ it cut itself off. “Ah. I see.” A sinister grin twisted at metallic features. “Thank you, Soundwave. I will return with my prize shortly.”
Oh, Sierra did not like the sound of that.
Sure enough, the robot turned to face her when it was done. “It seems you lied to me, little fleshling.” it sneered. “My associate tracked the signal of your personal communications device. You humans never go without it, I’ve been told.”
She blinked. “You hacked my phone?” she sputtered, and oops, she’d just confirmed her identity. ‘Stupid, Sierra.’
It’s face twisted into a cruel expression of glee. She did not like it. “Indeed.” It began bending down, and then a large hand was reaching towards her. “You shall be coming with me, human. Soundwave has seen how Jackson Darby is fond of you.” it purred. “You will make a lovely bargaining chip against that pathetic human runt and his Autobot protectors.”
And wait, this was because of Jack? How did he come into all this? If this thing was after her because of him, that had to mean he knew about it and it’s…friends. Did robots have friends? She didn’t know. And wait, Autobot?
She stiffened, scrabbling away from the large metallic hand, shunting those questions to the back of her mind to be answered later. Escape the terrifying metal monster now, murder Jack for pulling her into this later. Clearly though, the robot disliked her attempt to flee because it only growled and stepped towards her again.
That’s when she heard the roaring of a powerful engine. It made the robot pause too, and they both looked to where the sound came from. Then, over the crest of a hill, a white and blue sports car came flying in. It had red accents and bold 38s painted onto its doors. Sierra was impressed. She was no car person, but even she liked this one. Only, the car started breaking apart once it hit the ground, unfolding and growing into the form of, you guessed it, another robot.
Sierra despaired for her luck. ‘Murphy is going to die a second time for this. He’d better be prepared.’ She thought with vicious hysteria.
Except, to her great surprise, the new robot didn’t try to help capture her. No, instead it rammed full force into the tall jet robot that had tried to snatch her up. Said jet yelped before quickly getting back to its feet. Sierra heard the should of metal and gears shifting, and saw the newcomer’s large hand change to some sort of weapon, though not one she could recognize.
“Terrorizing humans now, Starscream?” it taunted. “Can’t say I’m surprised, you always were one to sink so low.”
The first robot, Starscream, apparently, snarled in outrage. “Pathetic Autobot!” it roared, and oh, so this newcomer was Autobot?
Except, from the two names she’d heard already, that didn’t sound like the type of name these robots seemed to have. She did notice the little face badges they wore, the white bot bearing a red one proudly on its shoulders while the jet robot wore a smaller, pointier face on its chest. So maybe those had something to do with the whole ‘Autobot’ thing? Hell if she knew. Sierra was clever, and she’d always been good at puzzles and mystery solving, but she didn’t have enough information for this whole…thing.
“I’m not the one who’s picking on defenseless humans, ‘Con!” the car robot barked, smirking at the skinnier jet.
The jet only snarled, lifting an arm that she was just noticing had a freaking missile attached to it, and the white robot stilled briefly, before shooting her a frantic look and oh, would you look at that, she seemed to be right in the blast radius of the missile, and oh god she was going to die-
Except, there was that shifting sound again, but much larger, and then car robot was leaping towards her. It hit the ground in car form, it’s driver door open as it slid sideways in her direction, and then she was swept up into it and the door slammed shut. Tires squealed, and then they were peeling away to the sound of a missile screaming and impacting where they had been a half second before. The jet roared in outrage, but the car robot was speeding straight towards civilization, and it seemed to want to avoid that because when she glanced at the rear view mirror she saw it leap into the sky and transform before flying away.
Sierra slowly sat up from her ungainly sprawl, pulling the seatbelt across her chest on reflex before sitting back against the driver’s seat and wheezing. Her heartbeat, which she only just noticed had been thundering wildly in her chest, started to slowly calm, and she had to force herself to take deep, even breaths to keep herself from hyperventilating.
Now, Sierra wasn’t an irrational girl. She was among the top students of all her classes, she was smart, she knew a lot about various topics, and she had a good understanding of how people worked. She was clever, she knew she had a good head on her shoulders. She kept some of her interests closer to her chest, and she played the good, polite, quiet girl for the adults, because she wasn’t without manners, thank you very much. All that meant, though, was that she wasn’t prone to screaming in terror and running like a madman when she was freaked out by something. She would prefer to understand something rather than be irrationally terrified of it.
This, though? This was a bit much, even for her. As her heartbeat calmed, a sense of nausea built in her throat. “Excuse me, robot?” she squeaked. She wasn’t even sure if she could communicate with it while it was in car mode, but it was worth a shot.
“It’s Smokescreen.”
What?
“What?”
“My name is Smokescreen. Not “robot”.”
It sounded miffed. Which, okay. That was fair. If someone called her just “human” she’d probably be upset too. Hell, she had been upset when that other one, Starscream, had called her a “fleshling”. Smokescreen’s voice also sounded very male, and she paused before asking.
“And you’re not an “it” either, then?”
“No, I’m a mech.” A pause. “Uh, a male, by your definitions.”
“Okay. Smokescreen. Well, I’m Sierra, and as grateful as I am for your rescue you should really, really stop and let me out. Humans don’t handle extreme stress very well and I’m about to be sick.”
“Sick?”
Oh god, did robots even get sick?
“I’m about to vomit. Which means I am very close to expelling internal body waste, and it will be right in your seats if you don’t let me out so I can barf behind some rocks.” she informed him tightly, fighting down a gag.
There was a brief moment if silence as Smokescreen seemed to process her words, before he turned off the side of the road, drove behind some rocks, and popped open the door. “Please don’t be sick in me.” Oh, now he sounded sick. Sierra felt a little bad.
She didn’t say anything to that, instead stumbling out of the car and out of sight, before promptly bending over and tossing her breakfast. She gagged on bile, and after a moment of pause to make sure there was nothing left in her stomach, she stood and made her way back to where Smokescreen was waiting. She pulled her water bottle from her bag, taking a sip and washing out her mouth with it before spitting it to the side, and then she proceeded to drink everything left in the bottle. She tucked it away, turning to her impromptu ride, and opened her mouth to speak, when-.
“Oh slag.” He beat her to the punch.
She was confused, recognizing that as a curse of some sort, and then she heard the beeping from his radio.
“Um, hold on for a minute, alright? I gotta take this.” He sounded anxious, and didn’t give her a chance to answer before there was a click as he did just that.
She heard muffled noises over the radio, though she couldn’t make out the words being said.
“Um, yeah. There was a ‘Con signal. I was close so I checked it out.”
More radio noises, angry sounding ones.
“I know, I know! But I was closest and no one would pick up their comm. so I thought I should st least check it out! It was a good thing too, Starscream was there and he was about to snatch up a human!”
A pause, and then an explosion of garbled noise from the radio. Sierra got the feeling that Smokescreen was wincing.
“Well what was I supposed to do? Let her be taken? Plus she’d already seen him so it wasn’t like seeing me was going to do much damage!”
A growling noise, followed by a hiss of static.
“Yes, Ratchet. I know. And I am sorry, alright! I know I went against code again but if I had waited a human would’ve been in Deception hands and as new as I am to this planet, even I know that’s bad!”
Wait, planet? Was this giant ass robot an actual alien? That…honestly made sense. With that day she’d had, she wasn’t even surprised. Smokescreen was still having his discussion with…whoever was on the other end.
“Yes, I’ll bring her back to base. I’m not going to apologize for saving her, though.”
More angry static.
“Yeah yeah. I get it.”
He sounded tired, defeated. Sierra felt bad, and wondered what was being said to make him sound like that when he’d been so bright before.
“No, you don’t need to send a ground bridge. I’m close to the base anyway. I’ll be there soon.”
There was a click as Smokescreen disconnected from whoever called him, and then she could tell he was talking to her when he spoke next. “Mind hopping in? I gotta bring you back to base. The boss can explain everything. I promise you won’t be hurt or anything.”
Sierra hesitated for a moment, then sighed. She knew she probably shouldn’t, but at this point what was the harm? Besides, her gut instinct was telling her that, based on what that Starscream character had said about Jack, she wouldn’t have to worry about being hurt. Not if Darby spent all his free time around these weird alien robots and came back fine. Mind decided, she slipped into the car’s open door. It shut on its own, and she buckled herself in once more.
“Thanks.” He sounded grateful. And then he was driving off.
He wasn’t saying anything, and neither was Sierra, and she let herself be alone with her thoughts. They drove for a while, and Sierra let herself enjoy the landscape that passed by Smokescreen’s window. He really was a nice ride, she mused. Sleek and fast, and his engine purred quietly as he drove along the highway. She didn’t know much about cars, but she knew his car mode was a good one.
Soon enough, they were coming towards a large mesa. Smokescreen drove right toward its side, not even slowing as he approached, Sierra tensed, about to protest, when a previously invisible door opened in the rock face. She shut her mouth, her eyes blowing wide. Oh. That explained that. Their base was hidden in plain sight. Which…she supposed was fitting, for alien robots who disguised themselves as cars and jets. Smokescreen took them through a tunnel, and then they were coming into a large central chamber. Sierra peeked out if the window to see two other robots there. One, stocky and painted in red and white. The other…was absolutely massive. He towered above the red and white bot, and she had a feeling he’d tower over Smokescreen too. He was broad as he was tall, with wide shoulders and a heavy looking chest, his metal armor painted in red and blue. Sierra didn’t know how she knew, but she just knew that this large one was a he, a mech, as Smokescreen had said.
The door at her side popped open, and after brief hesitation she unbuckled herself and stood up. There was that sound of transformation behind her, and she glanced back to see Smokescreen rising to his feet in his robot mode. Then a voice spoke and she snapped her head around to see the large bot speaking.
“Greetings, young one. My name is Optimus Prime. My companion is Ratchet, and you have already met Smokescreen.”
Ratchet. That’s who Smokescreen had been talking to earlier. “I’m Sierra.” she said after a moment. “Sierra O’Niell.”
Optimus tilted his head downwards in her direction. “May I inquire why Starscream was attempting to abduct you, if you know?”
“You’re very polite.” she remarked dryly. “He said something about wanting to use me to get to Jack Darby, so that he could in turn use Jack to get to the “Autobots”. I’m guessing that’s you guys?”
Optimus shared a look with Ratchet, then looked back at her. “Indeed. Myself and my team are Autobots. Starscream is a Decepticon. Our factions are enemies, I am afraid.” he explained. “We are not from your world, Sierra O’Niell. We hail from a planet called Cybertron. Our two factions were at War on our home, and that War destroyed our world. The Deceptions came here, searching for energon, and we have followed them to keep them from destroying your planet and it’s people in their quest for it.”
Sierra turned that over. She’d guessed they weren’t from Earth, so that wasn’t a surprise. The rest of the information was new, though. And appreciated. “What’s energon? And how does Jack fit into all this?”
Optimus sighed. “Energon is an energy source, and the very lifeblood of every Cybertronian.” he explained. “It is a natural resource that was once common on our home, and somehow Earth too produces it in great abundance.” he explained. “Jackson, Miko, and Raphael became involved with us by accident. They were seen with my Autobots when they mistakenly were pulled into a battle with the Decepticons, and the Decepticons assumed they were our allies. In order to protect them, we took them under our watch and guard to ensure they could not be harmed.”
So, Esquivel and Nakadai were part of this too. She shouldn’t be surprised. She’d seen the cars that picked those two up, now that she thought of it. Speaking of which….
“Jack’s motorcycle is an Autobot, isn’t it? And Miko and Raphael’s cars?”
Optimus hummed. “Indeed. Arcee, Bumblee, and Bulkhead were the ones to initially partner with and save the children in that first encounter. After they were brought into the fold, it made only sense to assign them as their Autobot guardians.”
Sierra nodded as she took that all in. Then she frowned. “I’m involved now too, aren’t I? I would have been involved regardless, if the Decepticons were really after me, but Smokescreen saving me just means my involvement is going to be more pleasant than it otherwise would have been.”
Optimus and Ratchet shared yet another look, before casting their gazes to Smokescreen. The white bot fidgeted under their combined stares, head ducking and looking uncomfortable. “While we are not pleased that the youngling acted on impulse and charged into battle against protocol, we are pleased that he saved your life, young Sierra.” Optimus said after a moment.
Sierra blinked. “Youngling.” she repeated in confusion. Then she narrowed her eyes. “You’re not getting him into trouble for saving me, are you?” she asked heatedly. The very idea insulted her.
Optimus twitched as if startled, then rumbled a soft chuckle. “Youngling, yes. It is a term used by Cybertronians to refer to those of us who are not yet fully grown. Smokescreen is the equivalent of a human teenager.” he explained. “And worry not. In this instance, we can overlook the breach in regulations. It would send a poor message to punish a bot for upholding the Autobot creed.”
Sierra relaxed at that, nodding. Then she narrowed her eyes. “I’m going to want to have a discussion with you later about why you’re letting teenagers fight in a war, but I know now isn’t the time.” she said threateningly.
Both older bots startled back and her tone and words, and Smokescreen squeaked from behind her. She turned and drew a harsh line across her mouth before he could say anything, and she watched as he stared, slack-jawed, before closing his mouth with an audible clack. That done, she returned her attention to the apparent leader. There was one more thing she wanted settled.
“You said the others got guardians, right?”
A nod.
“Well, if I’m going to need one, and something tells me I will, then I want this one.” she jerked her thumb over her shoulder at Smokescreen.
Optimus’s eyes narrowed in what she realized was a faint smile. “If Smokescreen agrees, then I have no issues with that.” he hummed. “All I ask is that you remain here until our liaison with the human government arrives. Agent Fowler will want to discuss some matters with you before you return home.”
Sierra blinked. So the government knew about all this. That was good to know. It meant she wouldn’t get in trouble for conspiring with aliens if it ever came to light. She could also understand why they kept this whole thing a secret, even if governments hiding things from the public wasn’t always a good thing. In this case, it was a good thing.
“As long as I’m home before my curfew.” she agreed.
Another bow of that great head, and then Optimus was turning to stride away. Presumably to make contact with this Fowler. That left her and Smokescreen with Ratchet.
The stocky bot glanced at them, then turned to that odd console she’d noticed earlier. “Smokescreen will show you around.” Was all he said, waving them away with a dismissive flip of his hand.
Sierra, taking that as her cue, turned to the youngest bot. She thrust out her hand. “What do you say? Partners?”
He seemed confused, before slowly crouching and extending his hand to tap a finger to her palm. “Yeah, sure.” he seemed a little awed that she’d want to partner with him.
She smiled. “Good. In that case, why don’t you give me a ride and show me around your base?”
Smokescreen seemed confused. “Ride?”
“On your shoulder. I’d like to see it from your perspective.”
He blinked, then shrugged and put his hand, palm up, on the floor. Sierra took that as her que to climb up, and he carefully transferred her to his shoulder. Cool. Very cool. She just wanted to ride on the giant alien robot, and now she got to. That was cool.
She saw him look at her out of the corner of his bright, shining blue eyes, and she smiled warmly. “Well? Show me around your home, big guy. I’d like to get to know you.”
Smokescreen perked up, the little protrusions on his back wiggling with his apparent joy, and Sierra grinned a little wider. Oh, he was cute. How a giant robot could be endearing, she didn’t know, but he did it. He was sort of like a puppy. A giant, metal, alien puppy. She held on as he started walking, and she listened with half an ear, processing and noting what he told her as the rest of her mind turned over the events of her day.
It had been stressful, and scary, but now that it was all done and she was fine…
‘Yeah.’ she thought, watching her new partner eagerly show her around the small, hidden base he called home. ‘I think I’m gonna like it here.’
———————————————————————————————————
And that was that! I hoped you like it! It was fun to write. The show didn’t give Sierra a last name or a real personality, so I had to kind of do that bit myself. And I was right! I did enjoy writing this. The prompt inspired me to write this faster than I thought I’d be able to. I do not expect to be able to fill a prompt this quickly again. Unfortunately. Also, Sierra is definitely going to be the straight man to Smokescreen. He’s going to need it. Badly.
Until next time, friends!

What if MECH and Silas were villians that were viewed as the Heroes by the World, so when Nemesis Prime was defeated…Silas sends a message to the world and revealed the Autobots’ existence…
Silas convinced everyone that the Autobots are evil, controlling the whole American Goverment (so nobody will listen to Fowler) and have brainwashed innocent people to join their side (so nobody will listen to June/Jack/Raf/Miko)…
Now, the Autobots are forced to defend themselves from humanity as well as the Decepticons…
Meanwhile, the Autobots forced their human allies (except for Fowler) to leave the base forever, so they won’t get into even more trouble… Later, Raf is forced to move away to Canada and Miko is forced to return to Japan, because both their families think that they have ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ for the ‘Evil Alien Robots’… Jack and June are almost constantly harassed by news teams whenever they go outside… And Agent Fowler is treated like a villian outside of the new Autobot Base (they were forced to move, because humanity figured out their secret location)…
The Autobots also might’ve changed their paintjobs, because Silas showed everyone pictures of what their true forms and vehicle forms look like…
June almost lost her job because of the paparazzi…
Sierra is one of the many people that believe Autobots are evil and feels sorry for Jack, also wishing to help Jack break free of the Autobot ‘brainwashing’… Surprisingly, even Vince is being kinder to the ‘brainwashed’ Jack… Vince actually remembers being kidnapped by Knockout and believes that an Autobot kidnapped him, but Vince thinks they let him go because ‘his mind is too strong to be brainwashed’… Then Sierra says: “Or maybe the Autobots wanted someone a bit smarter…” And Jack had to resist the urge to smile at that.
The Decepticons think it’s hilarious and ironic that the humans view the Autobots as their foes!

Transformers Prime: College AU! [REDO]
I’m giving the main [human] team an aged-up redesign! I still very much want to make time to expand on their personalities, backstories, and relationships with each other and Team Prime. 👀 😭
But for the most part, they are all tired af college students that got caught up in the Autobot-Decepticon conflict, with Vince and Sierra joining the action. Their last names basically belong to their VA’s. LOL
*I wanted to give ALL the characters better range in terms of their field of study. It could tie in very neatly with their affiliation with Team Prime and/or just my personal interpretation of what their character is like/could be.* 🥺👉👈

Okay guys, TFP crack pairing time.
Y'all remember Sierra? Y'know this girl here:
Tumblr media
What if we have an AU where she actually end up joining Team Prime?
And at first, it seems like great news for Jack. I mean, he can see and talk to his crush on a regular basis now! He probably has a chance at asking her out!
Except Sierra doesn't give him the time of day.
Not because she hates Jack. She's not a Mean Girl. She's not as superficial as she appears. She doesn't think Jack is 'boring' or 'stupid' or anything like that.
No, the reason she can't stay focused on Jack is because her attention has been captured by the base's resident Chaotic Gremlin.
And when I say 'Chaotic Gremlin', I'm talking about this little shit here:
Tumblr media
Right from the get go, Sierra and Miko just...hit it off. They're friends almost instantly.
Miko's the one who really helps her get used to being around the Autobots. She's the one who lets Sierra sit with her on Bulkhead's shoulder. She's the one who basically fills her in on all the hijinks and adventures they've been up to all this time.
And Sierra (who was scared and nervous about being in a base with giant alien robots) slowly grows more and more at ease. Bit by bit, thanks to Miko, she's starting to enjoy being around the Autobots.
She's starting to enjoy being around Miko.
In fact, she's enjoying it a little too much.
She's smiling when she rolls into base, but that smile gets wider when Miko shows up.
When Miko's phone goes dead, Sierra's always the one who offers her charger.
When she's studying for a test or doing homework, she's usually focused and serious. Until Miko sits down next to her, and Sierra drops everything so she can talk to her.
And Jack notices.
And he's so confused, the poor boy!
He had a whole speech prepared for when he'd ask Sierra out!
He practiced in front of the mirror and everything!
But no matter what he tries, he just can't seem to hold Sierra's attention. Because Miko shows up, and she's all Sierra can focus on.
They're the only two girls Jack has ever spoken at length with, and they're turning into lesbians right before his very eyes!
And so we have this sad/hilarious dynamic where Jack, the poor hapless sod that he is, is constantly trying to hook up with Sierra. And Sierra is pleasant with him, but mostly ambivalent. But then Miko shows up, and Sierra suddenly brightens up and she can't stay away from Miko and Jack is completely forgotten.
Jack: Sierra! Do you have a moment to-
Sierra: I’m busy now, Jack.
Raf: Sierra, you got a call from Miko.
Sierra: [blushes] Miko! Hi, how are you today?
Jack: Are you kidding me?
Arcee: Truth or dare?
Sierra: Dare
Arcee: I dare you to kiss the hottest person in the room
Sierra: Hey Jack
Jack, blushing: Yeah?
Sierra: Could you move? I’m trying to get to Miko
Sierra: Miko is a perfect cinnamon scone who’s never done anything wrong in her entire life!
Jack: Never done anything wrong?! She set a city block on FIRE!

Bringing in the (former) best friend Mandy, the blonde who used the go everywhere with Sierra before Cliffjumper and joining Team Prime inadvertently drove a wedge between them.
Which isn't to say Sierra wanted to leave the other girl behind, but Mandy? So not the kind of person who would keep her mouth shut about giant alien robots living practically right next door. She could be given the entire hardline speech about staying safe and national security and fate of the planet, etc etc, and yet, the temptation to whisper to just one other person would prove too great - and then, well, what's a second friend next to that, and before you could say "by the Allspark" half the town is in an uproar while the rest are are combing the desert looking for photo opportunities.
So. Instead of bringing her friend along for the ride, Sierra has to slowly leave her behind. Which hurts, okay, so maybe don't bring it up in casual conversation.

TFP X GAME OF THRONES AU
A/N : This AU have been stuck in my head for ages now ! I might be writing several fantasy ficlets off these , so I’m just going to post them here + The bots stay bots here ! Only they are not titan-sized, but nearly as big as us !! Don’t hesitate to correct me if you see any mistakes <3
A SONG OF METAL AND FIRE
ONCE, Earth was ruled under one kingdom. Under the reign of House Prime, the Thirteen ruled benevolently. Yet, the age of peace and prosperity came to a bitter end when Megatronus forced his Starsaber upon Prima. Conflict tore the once powerful House apart, leaving the Iron Throne to the hands of House Megatronus, while the rest formed their own factions. Years have passed, and Megatron, son of Megatronus, has done nothing but wage war upon both Humans and Cybertronians.
Just as the people of Earth were about to succumb to their wretched fate, word of a savior arise from the North. He is coming, they say, the last Prime is coming for the Iron Throne. He has formed his own allegiance, and is on his way to usurp the merciless monarch.
And so it begins : A Game of Thrones.
Tumblr media
Decepticons
Tumblr media
House Megatronus of Kaon
“PEACE THROUGH TYRANNY”
Megatron, Soundwave, Dreadwing, Shockwave, Starscream, Knockout, Breakdown
With Megatron as king, House Megatronus have ruled the Earth with an iron fist. In the heart of Kaon lay Drakmount Tower, guarded by Vehicons and swarming with Seekers, the castle was impenetrable. The capital city was overflowing with riches, popular for its thriving community. Yet, even the sun casts a shadow - and Kaon has its own dirty secrets. Up in the highest point, sat Megatron on his Iron Throne, waiting for the young prince to come and challenge him.
Tumblr media
House Seeker of Vos
“ AS HIGH AS HONOR ”
Dreadwing, Skyquake , Starscream ( but he left to align himself formally with house Megatronus)
House Seeker have dutifully aligned themselves with the Decepticon cause, swearing legacy upon House Megatronus. Located in Vos, a city that lies deep within Decepticon territory, it is known for having the tallest towers and buildings anywhere on Earth, giant silver towers that end in needle points. In this stretch of Sahara, they will offer their valuable armada to the King, doubling the size of his military. Dreadwing and his brother, Skyquake, equally ruled the Southern territory. While the youngest brother, Starscream, has successfully tied himself to House Megatronus. In secret, the prince felt robbed of his throne, seeking to claim his own within Megatron’s ranks.
Tumblr media
House Black of Altihex
“ TOGETHER WE HUNT”
Airachnid & her Insecticons
House Black is situated in the darkest forests of the South. Altihex borders west of Vos, dwelling where the sun cannot touch them. It is said that the path would become deepest brown and the moonlight would bleach the stones leading up to her nest. Only those overcome with madness would dare to venture into forest alone, and hope to make it out alive. It is told that Airachnid aligns herself with no one but her Insections. Yet, she was last seen offering House Megatronus allegiance.
Tumblr media
House Predacon of Kalis
“ FIRE AND BLOOD ”
Predaking, Darksteel and Skylynx
House Predacon of Kalis is an exiled Great House of Earth and the former royal house of the Kingdom. House Predacon conquered and unified the realm before it was deposed during Prima’s reign, making them an ancient enemy of House Prime. No one has heard of them after their exile to the Sea of Rust , until recently, the two surviving royals, Darksteel and Skylynx , have announced the return of  Predaking. Gripped with vengeance, The Last Sons of Fire offer their loyalty to House Megatronus, swearing to kill the Last Prime and end his bloodline.
Autobots
Tumblr media
House Prime of Iacon
Optimus, Arcee, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Smokescreen ( once of House Magnus )
“ TIL ALL ARE ONE “
As an act of resistance, the once noble House have taken arms to fight against Megatron’s cruel and violent regime, spearheading the Autobot movement. Yet, unfortunately, they are still vastly outnumbered. The Autobots' capital city is located far in the North, where the days are short to make way for longer nights. Gripped by eternal Winter, House Prime have adapted to living in such harsh conditions, using the brutal cold as a shield against outsiders. This has largely decreased the numbers of Decepticon spies moving in and out of the city, and only the most competent enemies can infiltrate the town undetected.
Here, the Last of the Primes swore to reclaim his birthright, and they chant his name into the night ; symbol of hope, a symbol of unity. Optimus Prime is here to reclaim his throne.
Tumblr media
House Magnus of Praxus
Ultra Magnus, Wheeljack, Bulkhead, Seaspray , Cliffjumper
“ BROTHERS IN ARMS  “
House Magnus is a force to be reckoned with. The legendary warriors built their stronghold East of Iacon, and in Praxus, the storms were violent and the tides are high. The laws of this city are fair and just, and those who dare to threaten its people are quickly found and brought to a swift justice. Bordering the sea of rust, these Praxian Soldiers have earned their fearsome reputation through their victory over the Battle for Tyger Pax. With Ultra Magnus acting as second in command to the Autobot cause, Megatron has every right to be concerned - for the commander and his team are coming his way.
THE RACE OF MEN
Following the fall of Prima and the Thirteen, the connection between Humans and Cybetronians was deeply wounded. For centuries, humans were ostracized by the children of Primus. They are deemed as the spawn of Unciron, harbringers of death, children of destruction. Promised to bring nothing but chaos, humans were exiled to the far west.
Here, they have split into two factions.
Tumblr media
House Darby of Winterfell
June,  Jack, Miko & Raf, Fowler
“ WINTER IS COMING “
June Darby knew they couldn’t run from this war the moment Ratchet showed up by the gates of their castle with an injured Optimus Prime. House Darby of Winterfell is known for their fierce loyalty. Their queen knew better than to turn them away, but at what cost ? This will be a declaration of war against House Megatronus, and she was not prepared to put her children on the line for a century-old war. Yet, it has been decided, the moment the wolf prince came to Prime’s aid during the Siege of Vector Sigma. In return, the Lord of House Bishop was sent to attack Winterfell under the warmonger’s orders, and the Darby children were separated ; Miko was heard to be last seen within the ranks of the Praxian Soldiers, while Raf was spotted wandering the borders of Iacon.
With her family scattered to the winds, Her Highness has no choice but to join forces with the Autobots. Tell them the North remembers. They say. Tell them winter is coming for House Megatronus.
Tumblr media
House Bishop of Castlery Rock
“ HEAR US ROAR ”
Silas, Sierra, Vince and Amanda ( OC )
The Bishops rule over the Westerlands. Their seat is Casterly Rock, a massive rocky promontory overlooking the Sunset Sea. The Wardens of the West are akin to nobility, yet darkness plagued the halls of their castle. Having severed their alliance with House Darby, they aim to unite themselves with the Decepticons, by offering their eldest princess to the warlord himself. The Red Rose knew she was just as good as dead within the lion’s den, following the Decepticon’s obvious distaste for mankind. Not wanting to die in their metal claws, Amanda of House Bishop and her sister, Sierra, have planned an escape. However, they were separated in their journey, with only a promise to meet by the gates of Winterfell Castle.
In the middle of her perilous journey, Amanda was aided by the Knight of Praxus. With the promise of safely delivering her to House Darby, Ultra Magnus pledged himself to the princess. Together, they brace themselves for the oncoming war.
A/N : hehehe I hope you guys like this AU ! It took a while for me to piece this together, so enjoy ( peace sign ) <3

tfp headcanons ( in which the kids get some time to grow up before joining unit: e, also because i forgot that existed while writing this )
raf's the first one to move on.
he's nearly died once, and he's just supposed to forget that he did? it feels like it never happened.
bee was his only friend, so raf was crushed when he left. but he's grown up a little more now, and he's determined to try and live a normal life.
the next time someone bullies him, he stands up for himself. and surprisingly, he wins a fight. his parents don't recognize him anymore. subtly and quietly, he's changing.
he stops talking to nearly everyone. it's something he doesn't notice, but raf's even quieter now. he listens to the sounds nobody hears, and communicates in his own way.
there's a girl in his grade who tries to befriend him. like him, she waits and listens. it's a while before he's ready to talk about his trauma, but he's healing.
raf scores straight As and his parents couldn't be prouder of him, but he's not proud of himself. nothing will ever be the same again, and that's okay.
he wishes bee were here to see it.
miko can't get over bulkhead leaving, or wheeljack. she might have accepted her parents leaving her alone, but not them.
she shoves her electric guitar in a corner of her room and covers it with an old blanket.
it feels like watching bulkhead die all over again. but this time, he's not coming back. she understands, but it hurts.
so miko picks up her history textbook, and studies. she continues to find ancient relic sites, and has her research in a smash monkey notebook. when the time comes again, she'll be ready.
miko nakadai never goes to detention again. in some ways, she's trying to do bulkhead proud. she hopes he remembers her even if he's never coming back, because she will.
she fixes things with her host parents and her parents and apologises for giving them a hard time. miko even goes to tokyo during summer break to visit her real family. she's trying, and it counts for something.
everything feels normal again, but there's an emptiness miko can't seem to shake. a yearning to go back to being a part of team prime.
jack's the last to come to terms with everything. it's ironic; he was the first to try and leave, but now, he's reluctant to let go.
he gets fired from the fast food joint for missing too many shifts. jack works at a parts store, repairing broken bikes and wishing he could feel like a hero again.
sierra asks him what happened to his bike. he tells her his bike left, and won't be coming back for a long time. they get fries and drinks and talk about school.
his mom cuts him a lot of slack. when he comes back home, flopping on the couch with tears in his eyes, she tells him a story about the day her husband left nevada and never looked back. she's been there before.
jack declines whenever someone asks him to go camping. there's an unspoken fear in his eyes that worries sierra. he says he's afraid of spiders, but she knows it goes deeper than that.
a while later, vinny befriends jack. he won't forget that he saved him that night. he apologises for being a jerk, and jack forgives him.
fowler becomes a part of the family, and to jack, he's a reminder that he went on all those adventures. he's like the father he never had.
jack haunts the nevada base. he sits on the abandoned railing like a ghost, staring at the huge, blank screen. he misses watching it light up and ratchet working it.
the base feels bigger now that he's alone. so he walks the corridors with a broken pipe piece in hand, but nothing happens. for once, everything is /quiet/.
there's a strange feeling when he looks up at the ceiling. it feels like optimus is still there, telling him he's proud of him.
it should be impossible. but if there's one thing jack's learned while with team prime, is that nothing ever is impossible.
he finds the matrix of leadership in the back pocket of his jeans. he doesn't know how it got there, but it is; a promise of a final adventure. almost as if it knew he needed it.
he switches on all the lights and paints a mural on the walls of team prime. optimus, bumblebee, arcee, bulkhead, ratchet, wheeljack, ultra magnus, smokescreen, jack, miko and raf, fowler and june.
it's his own little secret, because he isn't sure anyone will understand. ( june does, and she suspected he was going there from the amount of paint cans he bought )
sierra finds him there one night when she knocked on his front door, and june told her where he might be. somehow, she's less surprised at knowing his secret than he thought.
jack tells her the story, starting from the beginning. sierra listens, and sees jack in a new light. when he finally stops talking, she holds his hand, and they sit in silence admiring jack's mural.
the familiar hum of his mother's car pulls into the base as raf, miko, june, and fowler get out of the car. they're all stunned by the mural ( who knew jack was an artist ? )
miko and raf run up to hug jack. sierra joins in, along with fowler and june. they're a family, whether they realise it or not.
fowler decides its time for them to come on board officially. after all, he knows how much they miss it.
it feels like coming home.

okay but what if the Autobot characters were born into the Fleet??
a bit of a big departure from my earlier Transformer ideas, but i got to thinking about a possibility inspired by the Bumblebee movie, and wanted to know what you guys thought of this:
consider this idea. Rather than Optimus, Megatron and the other major Transformers characters being friends who wound up on opposite sides of a proxy war between gods of pure good and evil,
what if the Decepticons had already taken over Cybertron LONG before Optimus and the others were born?
And instead, the main Transformer characters were born roughly around the same time as the other main generation in the Fleet: Sierra, Terezi, Steven and the others?
This shuffles up some character dynamics; for example, Optimus and Megatron literally have never met, so that partiuclar chraacter element is gone, replaced with a more distant view on Optimus’ part. However, the Autobots are tied much more closely to the Fleet, and have a tighter familial connection to them.
In old times, the Funcitonalists ruled Cybertron, cruelly and without mercy. And a gladiator rose up to fight them... and in doing so, the naked greed he harbored, his hatred of the alien, and the bloodlust he felt, was put into sharper relief. The gladiator overthrow his opressors, but over time, the empire he built became crueler than the Functionalists could have ever imagined.
Eons have passed of Cybertron underneath the heel of the Decepticons; a few Transformers, struggling against their wyas, have been fighting against them and their genocidal ambitions to wipe out all alien life, but to little avail. They pass along ancient lore though, old secrets, even as Cybertron itself dies beneath their abuses.
Fast forward to the present day; there has been a vast diaspora from Cybertron, and the Decepticon Empire has largely collapsed. The Transformers, across many colony worlds, were a dying, scattered people with only vague memories of their homelands, bitter losses and terrible defeats, but it was to the proto-Fleet that these survivors came. Kup, Wheeljack, Ratchet, Rhinox, Predaking, Dinobot and others; they found a home with the wandering humans, trolls, Gems and other beings of the nomads, and brought with them their lore.
And raised in this community was a new generation, free from Decepticon tyranny, but knowing well the horrors the ancient enemy had inflicted upon them; the lands stolen from their ancestors, the horrific crimes done to millions of alien worlds. They saw them, upon all the many worlds they visited, always fleeing Decepticon attacks and predatons. into this was born the modern generation of Transformers, ORion Pax, Ariel. Arcee, GRimlock, Sludge, and the rest.
Orion, a true visionary though he was small and frail, was a leader among the young of the Fleet, including among humans like Sierra, trolls like Terezi and Feferi, and his hope became a vision for even the older, jaded members of the Fleet. And in time, as they settled onto new worlds, he helped rediscover their people’s ancient lore and discovered a symbol: a face, that of the goddess Primus.
He devised a name for their people, a declaration of purpose: the Decepticons had stolen their freedom, their homelands, the lives of countless people. FReedom, he declared, was the right of all sentient beings; autonomy was the first sacred right of all thinking beings.
They ought to stand for that, and so they became the Autobots; a quasi-religious movement within the Fleet, and even before they rediscovered the Matrix of Leadership and Primus herself chose him as her voice, he was already acting as her Prime.
Some alterations to past events below:
Beast Wars!Dinobot still perished, and is the namesake for Grimlock’s team. He just didn’t die on Simfur here, though he may have died on its land in a desperate attempt to retake it during Grimlock’s youth; the main Fleet characters participated in this battle, but ultimately weren’t as powerful as they are now. Grimlock took his name as a tribute to him, and it made the ‘Con conflict much more personal to him.
Optimus still has spent much of the Fleet’s active life gone and lost in the Great Library; at some point between being confirmed as Prime and doing cool Optimus stuff, he was lost in a great battle where magic tore reality asunder, and was thought dead. He was instead scattered through time and space, and after many harrowing adventures, found his way to the Library. The overall time of him being lost is minimized, though still significant.
Generally speaking, if a TRansformer relationship is dependant on a pre-war relationship between characters, it happened in a far different way; for example, Shockwave was still horribly brainwashed, and he was likely mentoring Wheeljack. Whirl was probably still a victim of Functionalist Empurata; gone a LONG time suffering under both ‘Con torments and Functionalist.
Functionalists are still around as antagonists! And likely have made life hell for the other TRansformers who have since joined the Fleet and become AUtobots.
The Autobots are a young group and the latest on a long line of sucessors to the ancient Knights of Cybertron; the ‘ancient warriors’ thing is scrapped in favor of them being on pretty much the same playing field as the others, and being hotshot revolutionaries who have succeeded in freeing their homeland from oppressive conquest, and are trying to fulfill their divine mandate to unite all beings in universal peace and love. (As Optimus sees it, anyhow! Elita 1 is more pragmatic.)
Basically assume that the Decepticons are ancient and feared beings whom are legends to the frightened Autobots, so their turn away from their pasts is a lot more surprising. Of note, however, this doesn’t necessarily mean that STarscream, Soundwave and the others are ancient monsters; they might actually be the same age as the Autobot characters. Megatron and Shockwave, as well as the other characters linked to them, are the only ones that need to be super ancient.
The overall intent is to focus the Autobot characters more on the present and trim down on their experience advantage, so their friends in the Fleet have been their family and the first home their people have known for a long while. Certain characterization elements may be hard to preserve (such as Grimlock’s abuse for being a beastformer), so it may be things they have suffered outside the Fleet that motivated them to become heroes, so no one else would have to suffer as they have.
(This also means our core Fleet characters had a strong case of ‘all best friends while growing up’, which is always great!)
this also shifts some dynamics; such as the Grimlock and Pearl rivalry. It goes from him being an old warrior showing up ANOTHER old warrior to a hotshot bruiser who is trying to live up to an image as a knight proving himself to the Fleet’s greatest swordswoman that he’s NOT an aberrant freak, he is strong enough to protect EVERYONE and he’s strong enough to stand up to her, and she may even be his mentor here... his very, VERY reluctant mentor!
this also provides some fun character dynamics; for example, Sierra was Grimlock’s human buddy while they were both growing up, while Orion Pax/Optimus Prime was probably Rose’s protege. Or the other way around, honestly! he made her BELIEVE again...!

Could you please write another “Sierra joins Team Prime” fic? I loved the first one, I’d really like to sea Sierra meet the rest of Team Prime and talk with Jack, Mimi, and Raf.
YES!!!! I would be very happy to! I have ideas for Smokescreen and Sierra shenanigans! Smokescreen is basically a giant puppy because he tries very hard and only wants to make people happy and he doesn’t have the necessary life experience to understand why the things he’s doing may not be the best. But he tries!!! And I love him. :D
———————————————————————————————————
There was a white, blue, and red sports car parked outside the school when Sierra stepped out from the doors. She stopped for a second when she saw it, before she managed to get over her shock and walked over to it. She supposed she shouldn’t have been surprised, she mused. Jack, Esquivel, and Nakadai did get picked up by their guardians everyday. It made sense too, if she thought about it further.
She came up to Smokescreen, running the tips of her fingers along his hood. She was about to call a greeting when she heard someone behind her.
“Smoke- I mean, Sierra, hi!” It was Jack.
She turned to face him, smiling. “Hi Jack.” she greeted. “Is there something you want?”
Jack was shifting. “Uh, no? I mean, yes. I think that car is here for me?”
“So you own a motorcycle and a sports car now, do you? I didn’t know working at KO burger paid enough to earn that much extra cash.” she said dryly. She could see both Esquivel and Nakadai hovering nearby, obviously listening in. They were probably worried she was close to learning their secret.
“No, I mean, it’s not? Not mine, I mean.” Jack fumbled as he spoke.
Oh, poor boy. She could see his brain working in overtime trying to produce a good excuse. She supposed it didn’t help that he still had that crush on her. She’d noticed. Of course she had. She wasn’t blind, thank you very much.
Sierra decided to be merciful. “Actually, Jack, this is my ride. I’m sure your motorcycle will be here soon, though.” she said cheerfully. Then she turned, smoothing a hand over her partner’s hood. “Hey, Smokescreen. Thanks for coming to get me. Do you mind if I get in?” She knew she had to anyway, but it always paid to ask first. Besides, it was only polite to make sure the giant robot you were about to hitch a ride with was okay with you climbing inside them.
“Sure!” The young bot answered. His voice was quiet, but still cheery.
His driver’s door popped open partway, and she pulled it open enough to climb inside. It closed after her, and once she buckled herself in she looked up to see Jack and his two friends gaping at her. She smiled at them, lifting her hand in a wave, and then Smokescreen was backing out of the parking space and driving off. They got further away from the school, and then both of them broke into laughter.
“Oh, the looks on their faces!” Smokescreen gasped, delighted. “Sierra, Sierra that was amazing. Oh Primus Sierra you should have seen how they reacted when you called my name. I’m never going to forget it.” he sounded so giddy. It was adorable.
Sierra giggled, a hand curled over her mouth. “I wish I did, but their faces as you drove off will have to do. God, Smokescreen. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a teenage boy look that confused by something that wasn’t the opposite sex.” she said, very delighted. Just because she had manners didn’t mean she didn’t like having fun, after all.
Smokescreen made a sound that couldn’t be described as anything other than a giggle. “I really don’t know what that means. But I think I get the idea. Did you see Miko? I don’t think I’ve ever seen her speechless before.”
She smiled, patting his wheel. “I did. I don’t know her as well as you but from what I’ve seen of her I’d have to agree with your sentiment.” she said lightly.
She glanced up to see they were coming up to the base. Mentally, she planned what she’d need to do this evening. She had homework to complete, and she needed to do it because she refused to fall behind in any of her classes. She didn’t care that she was now privy to America’s greatest secret, she had a GPA to maintain and no giant alien robot war was going to stop her. But, after she did her homework, she fully intended to relax and have fun. She was, after all, partnered to a giant alien robot. She had to take advantage of that.
When Smokescreen pulled up into base and popped open his door, she grabbed her back and slid out. “Thanks for the ride, big guy!” She said brightly.
Smokescreen transformed, rising to his full height. “It was my pleasure!” he chirped, his winglets–or doorwings, as he’d told her they were called–wriggling at his back.
Sierra smiled, and was about to say something else when she heard engines, and then Jack came in on his motorcycle, shortly followed by a green SUV and a yellow sports car. The other humans disembarked, and the three other bots transformed. Sierra smiled, waving. She’d met them the night she’d been introduced to all of this, after Agent Fowler had gotten her up to speed on everything. She liked Bumblebee. He was sweet. It made her determined to at least try and learn to understand him.
“So what’s the deal, huh?” Miko demanded, looking irritated and ready to storm over. “This was supposed to be just our thing! How’d you find out about it?”
Sierra snorted, and turned to Smokescreen to find he was already crouching and offering her his palm. She smiled, stepping up and gratefully letting him transfer her to his shoulder. It seemed he liked having her close just as much as she liked being up here. It was cute. He was a sweet bot.
“Calm now, Nakadai.” she said dryly.
“It’s Miko!”
“Fine. Miko.” Sierra rolled her eyes. “I found out because Starscream decided to try and abduct me. Apparently, the Decepticons have been watching you three and have learned that I mean something to Jack. They thought they could use me against you.” She said, directing the last part towards the boy in question.
Jack looked stricken, his face paling and his eyesight blowing wide. “Oh hell, Sierra, I’m so-“
“Save it.” she cut him off. “I’m not mad. It would be wrong to say you’re not allowed to have friends beyond Miko and Esquivel just because you know a secret like this.” he said, making a vague gesture around her.
“Um, you can just call me Raf. Or Raphael. Whatever you prefer.” Esquivel said, sounding a little awkward.
Sierra shot him a warm smile, then turned her attention back to the still irritated Miko. “Anyway, Starscream was about to grab me when Smokescreen stopped him.” she said. “He got me out of there, brought me back here, and now I guess I’m part of this, too.” he shrugged.
Miko huffed, obviously still annoyed that the secret was even a little less exclusive now. Still, she made no more arguments, instead walking to the small deck Smokescreen had described as the “human entertainment nook” and firing up the TV. Raphael stared, looking back and forth between the two girls before sighing and going up to join her. He sat on a separate seat, pulling out his computer and settling back. Jack stared at Sierra, then sagged and sighed.
“I am sorry.” he said after a moment. “But I am glad you’re alright too, and that you’re here. Welcome to the team, Sierra.” he said, then quickly went up to sit next to Miko.
Sierra snorted, arching a brow and glancing at Smokescreen. “I’d say that went quite well, wouldn’t you?”
Her partner snickered, his doorwings fluttering, and even Arcee chuckled as she went off to do…whatever she did in her spare time. Bulkhead looked incredibly awkward and sheepish, shooting Sierra an apologetic look as he moved further into the base. Bumblebee, for his part, just buzzed his amusement and went to sit on the ground by the entertainment hook.
Sierra hummed, then shared one last look with Smokescreen before she settled further on his shoulder and pulled her bag off her shoulder.
‘Well,’ she thought. ‘Time to get to work.’
——————————
Sierra had just finished her homework and was settling down on the couch to read her novel when Smokescreen returned. He’d gone out at some point in the past hour, leaving her in what she’d decided to simply call the Nook, and gone off to do…something. Currently, Raphael was up on a higher platform doing something with the computers, Miko was in another room playing her guitar with Bulkhead, and Jack was curled on the Nook’s armchair watching TV. As far as she could tell, Arcee was off doing…her things, Bumblebee had gone out for a patrol, and Optimus was with Fowler, trying to deal with something. Ratchet was working quietly with Raphael. It was peaceful.
And then Smokescreen came back, and it caught Sierra’s attention because he was walking. He held his hands cupped in a sphere in front of his chest, padding over to the Nook and beaming. Immediately, Sierra started getting a feeling in her gut that Something Was Up.
“Sierra!” her partner greeted cheerfully. His doorwings flapped. “I remember you were telling me about your research for school, about the local wild animals, and I thought I’d help!”
‘Oh no.’
“Help.” Sierra said carefully. “I see. Help how?”
Smokescreen looked like he was going to say something, but then-
“BLAAAAAAAAA!”
Sierra froze. Jack froze. Raphael froze. Ratchet froze and turned to face the scene very, very slowly. The look in his eyes promised doom and destruction. No one said anything.
“Smokescreen.” Sierra said slowly. “Please don’t tell me you caught a wild goat for me.”
The adorable, idiotic giant robot tilted his head. His right doorwing twitched once. “I didn’t? I caught that sheep thing you mentioned.”
“You caught a desert bighorn sheep.”
“Yeah, that’s the one!”
“BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”
“Smokescreen, put it back.”
“What? Why?” And bless him, he looked so confused.
Sierra could see Ratchet losing his patience. She had to diffuse this, fast. “Because it’s very cruel to take a wild animal from its home. It’s terrified, Smokescreen. I can finish my research with stuff from the library. I don’t need an actual bighorn sheep. I wouldn’t know what to do with it. Please put it back.”
Smokescreen blinked. “Oh.” he paused. “I guess I shouldn’t bring you that owl you really like, in that case?”
And oh no, he sounded so sad. The poor bot just wanted to make her happy. Oh, oh no. She couldn’t be mad at this. He was trying so hard and she couldn’t fault him for genuinely not knowing any better. He hadn’t been here for years and years like the other bots had. God, he was just excited the have a friend, wasn’t he? It was almost like he didn’t have the type of social connections he so clearly craved with the rest of Team Prime.
‘I will find who hurt him and I will destroy them.’ she vowed to herself. ‘It is going to be slow and painful, and I will make the devil himself fear my fury.’
“Probably not.” she agreed, her expression and tone gentle and kind, showing nothing of how she actually felt. “But how about you can come and get me and bring me to it if you ever see an animal you think I’ll like?” she offered. “And if you know I’m busy, I’ll never say no to a picture.” she gave him a warm grin. “Now, how about you and I both go put that back, and I’ll even tell you more about that species on the way?”
“BLAAAAAA!”
It seemed the sheep agreed.
“Alright.” Smokescreen said, sounding faintly embarrassed.
Sierra put her book down, then took the Nook’s stairs to the floor and looked up at her partner. He set the sheep down and transformed, then popped open his backseat door. Before she sheep could bolt, Sierra scared it back towards her partner and herded it to jump into his backseat. The door slammed shut, and Sierra hopped in to the open driver’s seat. Then, they were driving out of the base.
In the rear view mirror, Sierra could see the shock on Ratchet’s face. Almost like he hadn’t expected her to fix the situation the way she had. It made something angry curl in her gut, as she remembered how tired and resigned her partner had sounded that first day when Ratchet had been scolding him over the comm. line. It made her wonder how the bots usually dealt with Smokescreen making mistakes. She hoped it wasn’t just yelling and berating him.
Sierra sighed, forcing those thoughts to the back of her mind, and refocusing on her partner. “So.” she said. “How’d you even catch it, anyway?”
“Oh that? It was pretty easy, actually. I accidentally scared it off a cliff and I caught it before it could fall.” he said cheerfully.
‘Huh. That’d work.’
“Well, thank you very much for bringing it to show me, Smokescreen. I appreciate the thought and the gesture.” she said.
“You do?”
“Of course! You saw something you thought I’d like and you brought it back for me. That makes me happy. Just, please. No more animals, okay? I won’t say no to plants and flowers, if you really want to bring me something. No cacti, though.” she told him.
She could practically feel him brightening now that he knew what he could bring her instead. “Alright!”
“Now, let’s get this guy home. I’m sure it’ll be very happy to be back where it belongs.” she looked back at the terrified sheep huddled on the backseat. “Right, fella?”
“BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”
‘I’ll take that as a yes.’
———————————————————————————————————
And there it is! I know it’s not exactly what you asked for, but there was some of Sierra talking with the others! The idea with the sheep just wouldn’t leave my head though so I had to. I just did. I hope you liked it!
This ‘verse is fun. I like it. But for now, back to my other work!
Until next time, friends!
