#omori#omori au#omori mari#omori sunny#puter au#mariware#cw suicide#tw suicide#haha I love posting silly content for Puter and then remembering it’s the au where everything ever goes wrong#NOBODY is happy for more than five seconds at a time INCLUDING the ai#ANYWAYS this piece is vaguely inspired by Jack stauber’s ‘library’#which is where the line is from. the whole au is very inspired by his work actually!!#I was listening to it and thinking about Puter and more specifically the incident#and how mariware destroyed everything on sunny’s computer#and then also (small lore tidbit here woah) about the fact it’s been five years in universe since sunny’s death#and I was thinking about how mariware destroyed all his online presence and everything. all evidence of his existence is GONE save for her-#-own memory of him#any photos of him during the time SHE knew him are gone. only old ass photos of him as a kid before mari died#which makes me wonder. with all the strain she’s under processing everything because of her sentience#as well as the fact she has no photos of him for reference anymore#would she begin to forget what he looks like? would the vague memories she has of her beloved brother#the one whose death she feels so much remorse and guilt for#begin to grow hazy? would she only be able to remember that moment#that horrific moment where she saw the life leave his body and nothing else?#and that made me sob so I drew it. it’s also really sad because mariware is the only source of information about sunny during the years-#-after the move. she’s already unreliable as it is but do you think the more she tells the more she’d begin to realise she cannot recall?#with how simple her ai was supposed to be in the game originally#her sentience causes a lot of strain on her. and perhaps the less important memories can be filtered out#but the less important happy ones are the ones she wishes she remembered the most ;(((#and now she considers herself a murderer not only because she feels responsible for his death but because she can no longer remember him

also I genuinely love the various bits of eu canon that say that ben and polly have a pretty rocky relationship after leaving the tardis. like. here are two people who meet in normal everyday circumstances, and are mutually attracted despite clashing a bit. deciding to meet up again ends up with them experiencing something they won't ever be able to explain to anyone else. the differences between them stop mattering so much. they're each other's only touchstone of home for months, save each other's lives repeatedly, and bond more closely than they might ever have done had they stayed on earth.
and then they get to /go/ home, and it's... normal. it's everyday. it's everything they've been missing. and suddenly all that closeness they've built up just /cracks/. the differences between them come crashing back in. they can't look at each other without remembering what they've left behind. they can't bear to be without each other and risk forgetting. they need someone who doesn't understand. they can't be with anyone but the person who /does/ understand. they can't help but keep finding their way back to each other over and over again.

being sad about jack again listen up
so like, right, ive talked about this before but in bl3 there's an echo you can find in moxxi's heist that's jack calling his mom and wishing her a happy mother's day. she doesn't answer this call, at the end of the recording it's obvious it's a voicemail, and one that he has made several times over the years, especially considering how sad he sounds when he says bye
now, this already fucks with me but what makes me wonder is-
is she even alive?
i know that lots of out of game stuff isn't canon, stuff that voice actors say and do in QnA's and trailers and promotional stuff is kinda eh whatever, plus bl3 has a million other issues with continuity but in one of the QnA's "jack" did, he said he killed his mom
now of course this mean a lot of different things, like just something dameon threw in there as a funny ha ha, it could have been canon at one point but then was rectonned later, the bl3 writers forget/didn't know he said this, OR it is still canon that jack killed his mom and he just. . . .still sends her mothers day voicemails

Hiii!!! I came to ask you how you choose your bright and bold colours so cohesively! I struggle with making cohesive bright pieces but it's something I really want to work at. Do you have any tips? If it just comes naturally & is intuitive for u i understand that too! ty!!
tysm!!! i don't have a solid explanation on how I go about it, i'll mess a lot with layer effects until it "looks right", I do go around irl and if I see a cool color combo on packaging, posters, etc i'll take a pic and note the palette to use for a future piece! Like right now I saw a poster not too long ago with lime green, green, and purple and want to use it for a future piece. If I don't have a palette in mind then I color everything in it's normal palette, and then layer it with solid pinks and blues set to different/ color burn/ etc in different opacities until I get colors I like and adjust.

Shinigami Eyes is marking the wolf puppy comics on bluesky as trans hostile while the account here isn't and after a pretty exhaustive search of the account's page for anything that might've explained it to me I couldn't find it. Maybe it exists and I missed it, maybe someone misclicked something, IDK, but it's definitely Weird To Me and doesn't match my experience of the blogger or their audience. Cleared it for my own copy of the extension but curious if anyone has any insight into how/why that ended up being the case
#The actual name of the account has one fewer p in the second word but I'm not trying to talk to them#Just about them#Mind you if you're the author of that and you do see this post first: sorry and second do you know???#Not that important to me and I can and will go about the rest of my life without an answer if need be#But made me curious because it runs counter to my personal experience and I couldn't find a reason for that#I mean tbf sometimes it's wrong and or sometimes people change#I remember an account that got regularly retweeted on twitter that was marked as red#And they remain regularly retweeted on bluesky but also are now green#Which tbqh is more in line with the things I saw them saying anyhow#But like that case coulda been one of personal evolution or one of initial mislabeling and I certainly don't know#I find it to be pretty broadly trustworthy and usually when it's someone I don't expect to be in red I can then find a reason#But in this case I couldn't which is also part of the inconsistency that has me writing a post to process
