THE HOLMWOOD FOUNDATION -EPISODE ONE AND KICKSTARTER
It's finally here! Please enjoy Episode One of the Holmwood Foundation, Across The Moors.
CW: swearing, threat, static, brief emergency sirens, themes of possession/removal of bodily autonomy, and depictions of violence.
LISTEN ON SPOTIFY, APPLE PODCASTS, OR AT THE ACAST LINK BELOW:
The Holmwood Foundation is a Found Footage Horror-Fiction Podcast, a modern-day sequel to the gothic novel Dracula.
We follow Maddie Townsend (Rebecca Root) and Jeremy Larkin (Seán Carlsen), two co-workers at the Holmwood Foundation: a secret organisation that has been maintaining and studying the remains of Count Dracula for the last 130 years, as they are possessed by the ghosts of Jonathan and Mina Harker, and embark on a nightmare road trip, carrying Dracula's severed head across the UK, in an effort to stop him once and for all.
If you enjoy this episode and want to hear more, please consider supporting our Kickstarter to fund the rest of Season One. We need £23,000 to make the rest of the season a reality. Tiers start from just £5, and we're offering a range of exciting tier rewards for our backers!

Gallifrey. Ancestral home of the Time Lords. Some have lived there all their lives, some have adopted it as their own. Allies, thrown together by circumstance and strife, have forged lasting friendships in the furnace of politics, alternate realities, and the Last Great Time War.
Gallifrey is constant, but its inhabitants must change to survive. Perhaps none more so than Narvin...
--
I've been keeping this under my hat for so long, but I'm afraid Holmwood isn't the only writing partnership that @georgiacooked and I have been working on this year. We wrote the second story in this up and coming boxset - The Questing Beast!
The Questing Beast by Fio Trethewey & Georgia Cook, read by Miles Richardson  Battling the Lord Burner, Braxiatel is separated from his friends as they fall through a multitude of alternative Gallifreys. He arrives in a realm where science is magic and there is a Dragon to be slain...

Diving back into my love of Big Finish with some Narvin art! Because I realised I haven't drawn this man properly yet and that is a CRIME.
Narvin past and present. From CIA penguin to Time Lord Rogue. What a difference a Time War (and several harrowing character arcs/Found Family Acquisitions) makes.

Who is most important to the history of Doctor Who?

TOURNAMENT MASTERPOST
propaganda under the cut
Lisa Bowerman – played iconic EU companion Bernice Summerfield
Appeared in the last ever classic who story, which should already qualify her but she is of course also the voice of Bernice Summerfield, in the series of the same name for Big Finish. This series would be used as an example to the BBC that big finish could be trusted with the doctor who license, kicking off all of big finish, leading to the involvement of nick briggs in the main show and the creation of the TV episode Dalek, which for the sake of this propaganda i will claim helped the revival show gather enough popularity to be renewed for a second series and beyond. (anonymous)
Sean Carlsen – played iconic EU character Narvin
narvinnarvinnarvin also that one policeman in the christmas invasion - this man does not get enough recognition and please please Erasure is so sweet how he talks to Leela. the inflections he uses voice wise is so amusing and I also love how much of a fan he is of doctor who himself. also he says things in character on twitter sometimes which is fun (anonymous)

You probably didn't notice. But going back to the first Christmas special of the RTD era - Xmas Invasion. As humanity is under the influence of the Sycorax and heading for the rooftops poised to "jump"
Look who is playing the Policeman reporting the incident on the radio. It's actor behind the character - Narvin of Gallifrey's CIA ... Sean Carlsen.

I've now listened to the Gallifrey Anniversary Set Echoes of Eternity (I only knew what was happening in my story) and now I have lots of emotions.
It's so nice to be surprised by a Gallifrey story again.
Always happy to answer questions about the Questing Beast in my inbox (I can check in with Georgia quite easily!) Georgia and I are so happy to delve into Gallifrey together!

I’m happy to report that Seán has confirmed my theory that Narvin has to awkwardly climb in through the back of the arcade machine / TARDIS
