At first the Time War is just the Doctor’s tragic backstory, and it’s sad but he’s the last of his kind and has feels about it, it’s fine

And then you watch classic who and suddenly realize that oh, there’s all these people and he doesn’t like most of them but they’re all dead and gone now after being twisted by an unimaginable level of war

And then you get into the EU Gallifrey and their system is so messed up and no one is a good person but they have lives, they feel real, and they’re all going to be used as cannon fodder through one regeneration after another and there will be generations who don’t even know Gallifreyan culture because they were made only to die in the war and—

DW books: the CIA (celestial intervention agency) is a faceless organization that knows everything about everyone. One wrong move and it will be as if you never existed to begin with.

DW audios: this is Narvin he’s the head of the CIA we know his full name, chapter, and House. We also know he’s bad at 1. Sneaking around and 2. Lying. He needs prior authorization to do anything and if Romana or Leela get mad at him he will cry.

2 episodes ago she was making dodgy backroom deals with known criminals because She Wanted To and anything is permissible to her if She Wants To. she knows Brax is committing 24/7 crime and its fine because her besties can do whatever they want. no shit she's a good candidate to become imperiatrix, she fundamentally sees no real issue with herself having ultimate power, that's practically what she's already doing lmao 🙃

like bestie WHAT is wrong with you. i went into this series expecting the main personal problem to be Narvin being a wet pathetic neurotic babyman but god Romana is a legitimate fucking car crash already (politically and otherwise)

Weapon of Choice

Life, love and a term spent in a medieval time bubble have kept me away from my comics, but I'm sort of home now and wanted to get at least one more done before the upcoming Gallifrey One. It's going to be a super special one for Gallifans, particularly Narvinettes!

So here's a scene from the episode that started it all, Gallifrey S01 Ep01: Weapon of Choice, written by Alan Barnes. 

I really ditched on the background here but I can always return in future to sketch it out more with a few elements.

I have almost all remaining scenes (from series 1-6) planned and ready to sketch, just need the time!
