Lol, love the portion of the Florida Supercon Q&A where Liam and Taliesin get asked "Would you have handled the Laudna killing Bor'dor situation differently in retrospect" and they're like "Pfff, nah, Marisha was making a baller RP choice, we weren't gonna step in the middle of that." If only a not-insignificant-portion of this fandom would allow Marisha that same degree of agency in her roleplaying choices...

You know, when I was a fledgling, my maker beat my ass AT LEAST three times a week because I would mouth off and get into some bullshit. Built character. Kept me out of trouble. Taught me to respect my elders AND the Great Laws.

Fledglings these days don't respect either of those things. They're insolent. Reckless. No sense of decorum. Just take that Molloy kid. Running around out in the mortal world spilling our secrets and stirring up shit. You know he doesn't even have a maker because he goes around asking every vampire who can hear him, "Have you seen my maker? Have YOU seen my maker?" I'd feel bad for him if he'd just learned to keep his mouth shut.

If he HAD a respectable maker who wasn't a lousy deadbeat, the little shit'd get his ass beat so hard he'd be in coffin for a MONTH, Satan bless. And ALL of this bullshit could've been avoided. But now I'm gonna get CANCELED for saying it!

The Lawyers of Charlie Slimecicle

Jaiden: Set the stage with her opening statement, laying out the format of the trial and the demands of her client (along with her team's claims against the defendant)

BadBoyHalo: Swooped in with counter-evidence when Mariana's team had a lead

Quackity: Assisted as a translator between teams and clarified misconceptions in favor of his client

Fit: Bribed the judge. Also offered to run over the judge with his motor boat if the trial didn't go their way

Foolish: Got exposed for sleeping with the defense prior to the trial, did a 180 and decided to prosecute against his team

Tilin: Egg (got called in for Jury Duty)

Bonus

Roier: Mariana's sole lawyer, who had to go against 5 attorneys as part of a seemingly loosing battle considering his client was the one who committed egg murder. Held his own quite well with counter arguments that gave his client a fighting chance. Truly, the underrated MVP of the trial

can we talk about Phil and Jaiden today and their interactions after Jaiden finally shows her wings because I’m going crazy.

Jaiden showing off her wings for the first time to Phil, and Phil both happy for her and also insanely jealous, because why did she get to keep her wings, while his got clipped so badly he needs his backpack to counterbalance the weight he lost - or at least the weight he looses having to keep them close to his back.

and the whole time they’re talking in a group, hanging around spawn, Jaiden is perched somewhere above the group. up in a tree, moving from branch to branch, or against the wall, or right on the top of that lamppost. Phil, on the other hand, stays sat on the bench the entire time. grounded.

and every time Jaiden hops from perch to perch, he looks specifically at her. zooms in whiles she’s sat on the lamppost even as he continues conversation. its such a small detail but really helps punch in just how much Philza can’t let it go, can’t stop wishing that he could do the same.

It still astounds me how much variety in reactions the companions have based on approval that just, doesn't work. It doesn't trigger in the game. This is the sweetest Astarion has been in act I ever lol and you can't trigger it without a mod that fixes the bug causing it not to play.

"Until then, try not to die" makes sense for neutral approval. This makes sense for an Astarion that actually likes the player at least a little lol

The mod fixes the others' responses too. Shadowheart has like 4 it's insane and none of them play!
