There is a beanstalk in the distance. At least, you’re pretty sure it’s a beanstalk. It’s tall and green and it couldn’t possibly be the limb of some turtle, right? It looks like it might be a good landmark to reunite with your brothers.

I can't make character playlists because the song usually has to come up on the radio or something for me to think 'oh hey, this fits so-and-so.' When I first heard Justice/Tame Impala's "Neverender" and looked up the lyrics I thought it went nicely with Inquisitor Donnie.

Belated thanks for the well wishes, I have been freed so my inbox has quieted down a bit but people did set those two loose around a bunch of turtles so they might still be wreaking havoc, who knows.

(Hello, hello! You are new, I have never seen you before! Like I always say, my asks will mostly consist of writing instead of art, my apologies!)

Blue is exploring around, holding a cat Ike yokai, he stole it, now he is looking for a place to hide.

Blue has a scarf on along with a fitted headband with horns, unfortunately carol couldn't put blue in a dragon costume before he ran off.

Blues family must be looking for him, but he doesn't care. He walks up to you all, inspecting and sniffing around, curious.

(HI! ...is it weird if I respond by writing in turn? Also no need to apologize!)

Itchy, that's the closest sensation that Donnie can equate things to, ever since he and Leo had more or less literally been dropped into things. Being around so many turtles has never been something he'd ever thought he would have to plan for, and worse yet, he still doesn't know how to best deal with it.

Leo's been doing an admirable job of keeping them both grounded, but Donnie knows it can't hold out forever, and sometimes he's not sure if its solely him or the added strain of his sibling that he feels gnawing at him.

He's in one of his moments right then, eyes squeezed shut, trying to drown out everything around him by mentally reciting the periodic table. The scent hits him, so close, new, but familiar in that strange way that everything is.

He cracks open a yellow, slitted eye, glancing between his clawed fingers at this new presence.

"Is this one of mine then?" he hears Leo ask, finding his sibling peering curiously at Blue with equally yellow, slitted eyes. "Should we be keeping a scorecard?"

"What, like multiverse bingo or something?" Donnie mutters, directing a flat look at his brother before looking at Blue again. "Color-coding's right, anyway. What've you got there?"
