Noises. Lights. Everywhere he turned was an attack on his senses; bright, flashing lights and loud, blaring horns. He feels disoriented, disconnected, and his feet drag beneath him as he stumbles across the road. Cars fly by him with no regards to his fragility compared to their vehicles, but Atem eventually manages to escape the street and plant both feet on the sidewalk. He tries to look around, get a feel for where he was, but the once familiar city was now unrecognizable. And so he walks.

He isn't entirely sure where he's going, but he keeps forward, assuming that eventually he would come across something he recognized.

His legs have begun to tire, and his attire, while perfect for the warm desert sun of Aa'ru, does nothing to protect him from the weather, leaving his chest and limbs vulnerable to the freezing rain. After walking for what felt like an hour, he found that his muscles had begun to cramp, his legs no longer wanting to support him. A small lean-to sits only a few feet from him, and he hurries to get underneath it.

Now protected from the rain, he sits on the bench and takes a deep breath. His braids are soaked, clinging uncomfortably to the back of his neck and the tops of his shoulders. He isn't sure where he is, there is nothing here that he recognizes. But there are people hurrying across the courtyard, bags and books held over their heads to protect them from the rain. Perhaps there would be someone he knew? He isn't sure, but he makes the decision to stay in the safety of the lean-to for now, and resume his search when the rain let up and he could *think*.

he had been away from the village when the Last Inferno burned it down. Since nobody could find him, he was assumed dead.

Before that, he had been a farmer.

He is a villain now, discreetly taking people out if he deems it necessary. He's covered himself in poison ivy vines that are now growing into his bark-like skin so people wouldn't touch him.

He lives pretty deep in the jungle, in a tree house. He used to live with a desert steve, but killed him by dunking his head under water.

It was a mercy kill, as the desert steve was fatally wounded and he didn't want to see his friend suffer, but he'll never admit that...

I've seen people have theories about "Liu Xiao, Xia Fei, and Vein are part of a time organization trying to clean up Lu Guang's mess," I've seen comments like "Cheng Xiaoshi's powers are arguably the most powerful/dangerous of the time-related powers," etc., I've seen people make these connections in coexistence with all the other theories out there about what Lu Guang is hiding, but they all connect Lu Guang and whatever his past is to the Three Scary Bois (TM)

So am I gonna have to be the first one to throw out there the possibility that if the time organization is true and connected to Lu Guang, then it's very possible that Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi's first meeting back in high school was orchestrated by them so that Lu Guang could take Cheng Xiaoshi out and get rid of the danger of a power like his, but then it backfired because Lu Guang got too attached?

I'm not saying necessarily that I hardcore think that this is the case, I'm just pointing out that it could be a strong possibility if this "Time Organization" theory turns out to be correct and connected to Lu Guang

If you don't mind me asking, why are the ai character bots bad/disrespectful? No worries if you don't want to answer this! I'm not a creator, so I think I lack that perspective when I look at it because it seemed to me sort of in the same vein as people doing those character ask blogs and fanfiction and stuff until I saw that ask warning you about it. Again, I get it if you would rather not go there! I'd just like to hear your perspective if you're willing. ❤️

again i dont really care what people do, so i'm not gonna go after any fans that use that sort of stuff. my issue with those bots come from my same issue with a lot of AI stuff that's coming out recently. too fast, too unregulated, etc.

beyond the basics of content theft that has to happen to make bots this quickly, i just find the concept of these bots soulless. you're getting vapid and thoughtless versions of characters that we (the creators) have put a lot of heart into. i'd rather someone write an RP between characters that, while maybe not being the best, had some earnestness behind it. that's what BP is about. it's just earnest. it's messy, it's weird, but it's comfortable in it.

anyway. i often fear a future where we are so zoned out on endless swaths of AI generated content, and character.ai feels like a step in that direction

It was fun seeing the people shriek after a random portal opened up in the middle of Castelia, but hey, a ride's a ride.

Electro hadn't given it an address, no direction, nowhere specific for them to go.

Guess ya didn't want a fight if YOU DIDN'T BOTHER TO GIVE DAMN DIRECTIONS-

After an hour of wondering the city, waiting for someone to notice them and eye-ing every stranger to see if anyone of them seemed like Electro, they settled on an empty rooftop.

Taking a selfie of their location, they posted it on rotomblr to try to lure Electro out, no one could accuse them of being a coward. Not wanting the fight. Because they did, even in their veins they could feel a rush of adrenaline just from the anticipation.

They were ready. They even brought out the suit Colress made for them, just for this.
