How Turbo got interested in Fast (in a nutshell)

Like my best friends / arch nemeses vigilante and assassin duo?

The assassin occasionally actually genuinely tries to kill the vigilante literally just for the bounty in his head.

Then they go to assassin’s house to play mario cart when they’re done with the fight. Not every time, but also not only after the attempted murders. Friends just go play games together sometimes.

They will also risk their lives for each other.

When the assassin is bored he helps the vigilante with his “superhero” work, despite being one of the “villains” the vigilante fights. Cause you know, the vigilante tries to stop stuff like murders, including the ones that are the assassins job. And well, the assassin does his job.

Also the assassin is basically immortal and when annoyed enough at his bestie the vigilante will decapitate him for a while. This only happens while they are bffs, not while they are nemeses.

There is nothing romantic between them. I can’t say for sure about sexuality, bc they have on rare occasions made out and will do it again under certain oddly specific circumstances. But they’re not and will not be dating or hooking up beyond that. The making out is usually preceded by stabbing.

Thoughts?

Is Zaphira (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) an elf or do humans have pointed ears in your universe? If no elves, how do the pointed ears happen? Are there different length of ears and if so do they mean somethin?

Zaphira is human, there are no elves, as such, in this world, though humans tend to live longer than IRL and have differently shaped ears-

the shapes are rather diverse (example above) and culturally (so far) they have no significance, they are merely a trait just like different nose shapes or fantasy hair colors

the worldbuilding reason is that these are extremely diluted demonic influences- in the past demons were frequently in the human world, though largely in secret/disguised, and long time exposure to demonic presences can have varying effects, the most immediate and common being a longer life or wounds healing faster than normal; there might have been other long time effects but the only trait that stayed even after their disappearance is the ear shapes

(there was a mass extinction event of demons that wiped out all above a certain age, since demons generally dont die of natural causes their life neither depends nor revolves around reproduction so there were extremely few left and those were too young to keep most of their knowledge and culture alive, as they rarely wrote anything down; Shargon is of the current oldest generation and witnessed it happen, just like most now adult demons, Thor and Eadrya are both a bit older than him and thus the oldest living demons, which doesnt mean much considering the technically endless lifespans of them)

and to explain me including Shargon in a human appearance- hes the only demon that spends as much time in the human world as at home, largely to escape the others since they are not interested in going there and would otherwise attack him any chance they get (the human world is rather uncomfortable for demons to be in and they have better things to do than to chase him that far), while hes generally very weak compared to them, something he is very good at is shape shifting, mainly the speed of which, being able to shift between full demon and the smaller more humanoid form extremely quickly, or even mid forms that are a mix of both - even in motion! while for the others it takes them quite a bit and forces them to stop which is the main reason he keeps escaping them not able to keep up with his rapid shape shifting (though it does take its toll .. also a reason hes so skinny)

he is the first (only?) one that at some point will learn how to shift into a much more human looking one (depicted in the sketch) too, but its rather dangerous since it involves supressing and compressing his demon heart and system... which is what keeps demons alive (its somewhat like holding your breath for way too long) so the only time he would make use of it is in extreme situations, like avoiding detection by maschines that can pick up demonic energy or escaping shackles made of celestial silver (which drains their energy and can scar/hurt them permanently, like silver to vampires(?werewolfs?) in a way)

....the point is that if he shifts into a human form he has very long ears, meaning that is basically the extreme form that doesnt occur in humans and hints at the origins for those ear shapes being demonic exposure in the past

Tea works part-time as a groundskeeper because it's close to home and they care about honoring the dead! Keeping the area clean, repairing graves, and leaving well wishes for the headstones that don't receive visitors anymore are all part of the job.

A second, embarrassing reason is because they're shy and introverted. The dead are simple and good company. Specifically, company that isn't present sdhjfhdf

Inspired by @achickennamedcheese

After the Book of Tlakauili (Shade or Shadow in Nahuatl/Aztec) was destroyed by Eztli, both of their curses were broken, but the effects of it are still very noticeable. Ricky's left eye is stuck permanently, as shown in the image above, and Eztli has a permanent white streak in his hair.

Anyway, both of them don't remember Jack Squat about what happened after they both found the book (Eztli found it over 300 years ago :/). Ricky's now a wanted man for crimes against the creatorverse (concept also by Chicken), including mind manipulation of multiple powerful beings, including Eclipse, Zak(both Chicken's characters), Kris, Kara, Logan ( @kittybot57 ) , and countless of innocents, murdering a few people, and nearly destroying Hilldra. Zak's also imprisoned temporarily cause he snatched most of Hilldra's magic while under Ricky's influence, leaving her about as strong as a normal human and with permanent scars (physical and mentally I presume)

Anyway, Ricky's now a wanted war criminal for crimes he doesn't remember committing, is hopping from one dimension to the next to get away from cops and bounty hunters, and has to steal to survive. His sisters have no clue where he is, but they're not that relevant, so don't worry about them for now. He's going by his birth/Chinese name that I'm probably gonna change. He cut off the pink ends in his hair and changed his whole look to lay low from the law

Pyrok was sealed and placed in a chained box with the cautionary signs. “Saying treat with care! Do not touch recklessly” in the back of the antique store for a reason.

The last one to shake him violently ended up becoming an amputee.

This is Suhn, THE God of Ylifi aaaand I have just realised this is the first drawing from this world I have ever published here...

I will talk more about Ylifi because it is more lore-heavy, and I want to compensate for the lack of related drawings I do.

Ylifi is a fantasy world like Lureed but with a few key differences. Ylifi has more otherworldly elements, while Lureed is more individual-focused. In Lureed, there aren't many world-changing events, and what happens usually involves just a part. In Ylifi, on the other hand, the main story is very world-changing, and at some point, everyone kind of gets involved, not just a small section of land or species. Ylifi has also a more developed magic system and species relationships, in Lureed everybody just exist and are more similar to animals (No I don't mean that they are primitive).

Suhn is the creator of Ylifi and the only actual god of it, there are other creatures that are defined as "gods", but it's mostly from a human perspective, and can't really change the fabric of reality unless Suhn feels kinda freaky and lets them to. This is the first ever drawing I did of Suhn. It's really simple because I want their design to be minimal and have them just be a humanoid made of light with piercing eyes. They probably won't even appear, at least in this form, they dgaf about what's happening... until it got to them
