Skiffs!

Skiffs are an open species that I made! They're custom-made robots on a far-off ringed desert planet named Sterilis.

They have a variety of roles, from deliveries to racing. Depends on what they're built with! Most are scrapped together from old parts.

They have a lot of personalities but they're usually similar to skater punks and adrenaline junkies. They love going fast and doing sick stunts.

Also, they can canonically micspam. They can and will play any sound file they find, at each other, at anyone, at themselves

There's a bunch of other little lore tidbits but that's the gist of it. If you ever wanted a robot that's really robot-y, I encourage ya to make one of these little goobers for yourself!

A plane-themed robot gal. She's a skiff that's modified to generate lift with her airfoil arms. Her name is Yonder and she often goes out on recon missions.

Sterilis, the Skiff Homeworld

The Skiffs' original planet is Sterilis; a planet far in the depths of space. Named as such because, despite being within a mostly-habitable range, it's VERY dry compared to Earth.

Most of the landmass is dry deserts and canyons. There are pockets of plantlife near the coastline and ice caps, though. Those rings are very icy! They make rocket launches difficult, but they make the night skies very pretty, as seen in the second image.

On a more meta-level, Sterilis is kind of a microcosm of southern california nostalgia. Beautiful deserts, sand-and-surf, a bustling car culture (seen as the skiffs themselves) and the like. Just with a more sci-fi spin!

Hordak: She's around the age when cadets in the Horde were taught how to ride a skiff. Also, she's the only one of Entrapta's friends who never had a problem with our relationship.

It makes little squeeky noises like Quip does, or the plushie skyscales. It's amazing. (Lighting not that great cos I'm impatient. BUT SQUEEKY BOAT)
