It's been wild to watch the Jack & Joker fandom* weekly give the people in active poverty, who've only ever known poverty, almost no grace while giving the formerly rich ones all the grace.

First, it was Tattoo's fault everything was happening because he stole Arun's mom's necklace for no reason, despite his reason being trying to save his family (his mom and Hoy) from crippling debt. He even got blamed for Arun getting disowned because of it, despite Arun being a grown man wearing it as a flex without his dad's permission for his spoiled brat rich kid fashion show.

Then it was Save's fault for everything because he wants to work for Arun's evil father for no reason, despite his reason being he's tired of seeing his long term boyfriend, and only family, coming home hurt because his boss takes his anger out on him whenever he's mad at his kid.

Now it's Jack being completely unfair for blaming Joke for what's happened to Toi Ting for no reason, despite the fact that Joke did massively fuck up by giving Arun's dad the One Ring. And doing it in Jack's name at that.

Meanwhile, it seems Arun and Joke never have to take any responsibility for anything because they have shitty dads and/or had the best intentions. Despite all the poor characters not even having dads (Tattoo has a single mom, Save's parents haven't been mentioned but Hope said he's been protecting him since they were kids so I'm guessing they're MIA/dead, Jack's an orphan) and Save's entire motivation to save Hope being the exact same thing as Joke's. And I'm just so confused. So confused.
