"Role Exchange"

This serves a double purpose: This is both my contribution to FMABruary2025 and an excuse to draw Edward and Alphonse as Homunculi for my Role Exchange AU.

I was going to do the full assemble but it is late already.

If you are curious of her personal music, I claim Eleisha Eagle as her identity. I imagine some of her songs being dedicated to Robin, like The Quittin’ Kind, Avenue Of Smiles or My Level. Other songs from her that I imagine Sunday singing would be Why Have You Happened To Me, Neither Here Nor There, Hooked, Broken Shoestring and many others.

Tastes Like Sympathy by Mishkin Fitzgerald would also be a good one and the kind of song that would have everyone go: … Okay how about we stop that.

I don’t know why but I also imagine Robin and Sunday having a Dirt Poor Robins vibe if they were to produce music together.

Other inspirations for Sunday would probably be Amanda Palmer or Fiona Apple.

(Yeah this does mean mason fails to flirt with him Paul, half because he knows he's a cryptid ithink. Paul probably turns into a blue minotaur maybe. As for Darlene, she's probably just a super frequent ad mascot)

Waddles // The axolotl

(the axolotl is called wades! Bc of this change, at the end of the summer Mason doesn't get his memories back immediately- it takes a few months)

Zombies // Gnomes

(I thought flipping the premise of the first episode would be fun, plus, tiny sentient zombies and tall garden gnome like cryptids that kinda stand there sound COOL)

Pls, pls, pls, what would Caine and Pomni look like if they switched places with each other? Pretty please 🥺

A roleswap, huh? Alright. let's do this.

It was actually a very difficult challenge to do a roleswap with Pomni and Caine, simply because of how wired their personalities and backstories are to their roles, purposes and designs to the world of the Harlequin AU.

Pomni on this version wears a simplified Harlequin mask to hide her face, and I also gave her a marotte, commonly known as "fool's staff" or a jester staff. Obviously, coat on shoulders to signify authority and because I am a whoreeee

Caine on the other side, is more-so like, a puppet version of a gentleman assassin, in which his getup is as sharp as his weapons. He carries a modified cane that's styled like a morning star (those spike ball mace things), and the tip of his cane is very sharp. His hat finally makes a return, because he's gotta look snazzy

Underneath his teeth are purely mechanisms and a pair of mismatched eyes, unlike his canon counterpart which has organic features.

I may expand on this idea of a roleswap more and make it more intriguing by adding lore to it, but as of the moment I'm on that brainstorming state.

The Harlequin AU's story wasn't written in a day, after all

Role Swap Bruce/Clark Superbat hehe they do each other's civilization jobs <3

Bruce as a journalist is scary. He knows way too much, has seemingly perfect sources, and manages to get himself into any event ever, press pass or not. He's asks hard-hitting questions that make most people in the room slightly uncomfortable or on edge.

Clark as a CEO is... a struggle. He isn't built for controlling large companies, and even tho WE has about a gazillion employees, he very much wants to be as on hands as a leader even if it's impractical. He's a tad too kind to be a very good CEO, poor guy.
