Knowing “Nerdy Prudes Must Die” was the first idea the Lang brothers had for Hatchetfield makes the whole series so much funnier.

Like, did they know in “The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals” that the weirdo who demanded a hot chocolate would be the leading man of the high school horror show?

Did they know the prude they mentioned a few times would be a homophobic murderer who defiled a corpse, fucked a ghost, and became a vessel for dark lords?

Was the homeless man joke in BEFORE the recast because they were still brothers, or not?

I’ve seen some people add Officer Bailey into the Jon Matteson character family tree as one of Richie’s uncles and I love it so much. But why stop there? If we really wanna joke about how big this family is why not add more Curt Mega characters into it?

Curt’s shopper from Black Friday? Yeah he’s one of Richie’s uncles and he and Gary talked about who was gonna get a Wiggly doll for which kid.

Eddie Chiplucky is a very distant relative from the south and he actually looks out for Daniel in the ring (shhh I don’t care if it’s accurate to the show we’re having fun here).

Hell even President Howard Goodman is distantly related to these people! I know because I saw pictures of him as a little kid in the huge family photo album Paul keeps on a random bookshelf in his living room.

Is Duke Keane related to them? Who knows! Definitely not him!

I’m just saying that like half of the adults in hatchetfeild are Richie’s (also Trever’s and Daniel’s) uncles and I love that for him (them).

I've been rewatching the first two seasons of The Bear so I can watch the third season that just came out and man the character writing in this show makes me froth at the mouth it's like some of the best arcs I've ever seen in a TV series

#little infodump in the tags bc no one I know is watching this show so I need to spill all my thoughts somewhere LOL #Richie is my favorite he makes me go ballistic especially in the episode Forks #just rewatched that episode and it always makes me cry when he has his moment where he finally Gets it #he's such a shit stain of a guy I would probably hate him if I knew him in real life lmfao but as a character he is so fantastically writte #I also really love Marcus but he hasn't had as big of a development as Richie has #Sydney is awesome but she's. so much like me in the way where I cringe at her sometimes LMAO #when she's acting super sarcastic and holier than thou I can't look directly at it it's too much like me when I'm at my worst DHF;LKDFH #god I hope Marcus and Sydney get together they are so cute #unusually good chemistry for a straight ship LOL /hj #I also love Tina but my only complaint with her is that I kinda wish her arc in the first season took a little more time #bc she started off as a real asshole just like all the characters did but she had a much more sudden switch #but I guess it makes sense for her now that I think about it bc she's shown to be a very sweet and compassionate person #it's just that she doesn't trust Sydney at first so once she gets over that then she's sweet with her too #excited to learn more about Ebra he reminds me a lot of an old coworker #also obvs no spoilers for season 3 please I haven't got there yet #lyla's talking again

POKEMON MYSTERY DUNGEON AU CONCEPTS!!!!! the only solidified pokemon thats going to stay is max being a corvisquire, as they remind me heavily of nighthawks and nibbly’s “normal pokemon form” will be a spoink because of the pig features + the fact one of spoink’s abilities is gluttony!!

as far as im concerned grace will likely be a spring deerling!!

this is not a canonical team and more-so just me doodling out concepts!!

on top of this i plan on making the pmd x hatchetfield au a series on ao3, consisting of multiple stories that parallel with the timelines we’ve come to know and love in hatchetfield (i currently have the concept of tgwdlm’s story written out, i just need to work on an outline as well as figure out some more characters). its likely that there will also be a collection of oneshots with different povs that help flesh out the characters and the world itself because I LOVE WORLDBUILDING!!
