i hope everyone that celebrates had a great christmas or holidays! kenny wanted to give a quick reminder to take care of yourself, take breaks, and be kind to your mind before entering 2025 🧡🧠

unfortunately my christmas wasn’t the greatest this year. i will not go into details for personal reasons (and i don’t want to trigger others) but on christmas eve a very scary incident happened to me. left me very shaken up and leading into christmas day nothing really felt the same :(

You know what, I figured out why we're having so many errors in Destiny 2 now. It's because with the addition of Micah-10, we've finally reached a critical mass of women with drop dead gorgeous voices, and the game simply can't handle it anymore. It's like Telesto. Too powerful. If they'd actually put Ikora Rey in a rendered cutscene for more than 5 seconds it would have shut down the servers for good

one of my favorite things about tim is that he is truly and honestly no one's favorite. he's no one's first choice, he's not even his own first choice.

what makes him a good hero is not his need to be the best but need to fix things that are broken. he wants to make a difference and decided well if no one else was going to do it, might as well be him.

I forgot that James Sprintz's family, at least in the show, deals in weapons. Could be an interesting point of contact if Alex ever found himself on the run and in need of supplies, seems a very Scorpia!Alex related situation but I'm sure there could be other reasons too... The way that this could be interpreted to hint at some of the (supposedly) wilder fan theories! It would be incredibly ironic if Elrond had to eat his words when he falls in love with a half-Maia Celebrian.

Or maybe it's just a veiled real-world commentary on learning to be okay with beautiful art produced by problematic artists. Who can say.

My issue with Thor not ‘realizing’ why Loki was acting off in Avengers 1 isn’t that Thor didn’t recognise Loki was acting unlike himself—Thor did note that—or that Thor didn’t figure out what was wrong—he did try asking—it’s more along the lines of Thor giving up, and that he accepted Loki was bad now within two days while knowing something was off when Thor himself behaved just as bad for much longer before without any specific compromising event.

also on the topic of mxtx couples, i love that all three of them have a the love interest be like "even if you're rejected by society and shunned by those in power, I will follow behind you because you have suffered enough and I will love you regardless of the opinions of others" but in svsss's case, it's shen qingqiu who does this

For a moment I thought Doumeki was going to mention that Kohane was worried about Watanuki and asked Doumeki to look after him - but instead he pivots to the thing I had completely forgotten about and mentions the balloon. 

How long ago was the balloon. Forever ago. It was from before Watanuki fell out the window.

Balloon appeared in Chapter 50, which I seem to have read in 2017, and Watanuki gives it to Kohane in Chapter 58. So this balloon is seven years old for me. This balloon is the age of a small child. 

I suppose it’s not as extreme if you go by publishing date. Volume 8 was published in Feb 2006 and Volume 14 was Feb 2009. But that’s still three years!

Clamp really playing the long game here as if we would expect anything else at this point.

I have this insane plan/resolution for 2025 and may need someone to slap some sense back into me.

Due to my hopeless backlog in fic requests and WIPs, I'm maintaining my self-ban from participating in fandom writing events throughout 2025.

But. What if started joining these events as an Artist?

Please note that I still currently cannot draw for beans due to failure to practice this year. BUT I can make pretty good moodboards and possibly photo manips as a backup if traditional art fails.

Or is this simply a good way to get myself blacklisted in the fandom?
