Beware for Owl House fans of the user @Daystarvoyage (Homophobic/General Harassment)

This user also goes by "Daystarcosplay" on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. It is important you block them on every single one.

Despite claiming to be a "TOH Critic", their main problem with the show is the inclusion of LGBT characters. Homophobia is not criticism.

They have been going around harassing anyone who posts something TOH-related they don't like whether it be a ship (specifically going after gay ships, most notably Lumity) or an opinion. And will go on to stalk and harass their victims on every other social media after being blocked.

I first encountered this user after posting this artwork

They insisted that Luz should have ended up with Hunter and not a girl. After I told them no, they proceeded to harass me. (Tumblr deletes dms after blocking someone, but I still took some screenshots at the time)

They sent me hate fanfiction they wrote of TOH's creator Dana Terrace being harmed, and rants about how she is a bad writer for having Luz in a relationship with another girl, and including gay/trans people in general.

After blocking them, they immediately went after me on Twitter and Instagram (within the same hour of blocking them)

When I posted about this publicly, others came foward to tell me they were harassed by this person on every social media as well. And other shippers of Luz and Hunter expressing bad experiences with this person.

Though I was sent hate fanfiction this user wrote of Dana Terrace, they sent others smut fanfiction they wrote of Hunter raping Luz. Particularly under Pride Month posts.

Most recently they went after and stalked another artist this past month, last messaging them on New Years.

Here the user is again complaining about Owl House being "woke" under this artist's post (context is that this user was complaining the show focuses too much on gay and nonbinary characters instead of Belos).

After this interaction this user proceeded to harass the artist for a month and even messaged them on Etsy of all places with an alt account.

From my experience and hearing others, it seems like the common pattern this user goes on about when harassing someone is ranting about how much they hate Dana Terrace, how she's a terrible writer, complaining about the show being "woke" (having gay characters), Luz ending up with another girl instead of Hunter, Luz not being feminine/pretty enough, weird rants about their personal life, and claiming the person who they are harassing "started it" and is the toxic fan.

By how immature and bad their writing is, you may think this is a child, but unfortunately not. (Also yes English is their first language, revealed to me during thier rant about their personal life) Many of their harassment messages include ranting about "this generation" being too sensitive and calling their victims "kid/brat" as an insult.

Also, in a post they made defending villain characters like Belos and Odalia, they said those two were demonized for being an adult. Just like how THEY are demonized for being an adult by gen z apparently.

It's best if you block them now before they interact with you first, as they have started making alt accounts.

The balcony jutted out like a jagged precipice, a sinister ledge hanging over the vast expanse of the Deadlands below. The ruins of the world stretched endlessly, their twisted remnants clawing toward the ash-choked sky as storms of soot churned violently through the wasteland. Far beyond the desolation, Musutafu — the largest of the Dregs — flickered weakly on the horizon, its faint glow barely piercing the gloom, like the final gasp of a dying ember. From this vantage point, the world looked utterly forsaken — an expanse of shadows and echoes, hollow and forgotten, a graveyard of what once was.

You hadn’t wanted to follow Shigaraki here, but you hadn’t been given a choice. His hand lingered on the small of your back, cold and commanding, a silent threat that pushed you forward through the dim, sprawling halls of the Sangreal’s fortress. When the heavy doors to the balcony creaked shut behind you, the chill of the open air hit you like a knife, cutting through the thin, half-translucent black dress his maids had forced you into.

You’d seen the hollow emptiness in those women’s eyes — undoubtedly human, their bodies trembling, their fragile minds dulled by the narcotics Overhaul pumped into their veins, rendering them docile and compliant for Shigaraki’s every whim. They moved like puppets on broken strings, their pale faces devoid of anything human. You’d heard the whispers, the sickening truths that once Shigaraki grew bored of them, they would become his feast. Their blood drained to the last drop, their lifeless bodies discarded without a second thought. And yet, even through their dazed haze, you’d felt their pity as they tied the ribbons around your waist and adjusted the lace at your shoulders.

His dark cloak billowed slightly in the ashen wind, revealing the jagged edges of his form. His shoulders were sharp, his pale skin stretched too tight over his bones, and his crimson eyes burned like dying coals in a face that was almost too hollow to be alive. He stopped at the railing, the cracked stone pressing against his palms, and tilted his head toward the horizon as if presenting a masterpiece only he could understand.

“This,” he rasped, his voice scraping like gravel against the silence, “is the world your kind left behind. All of it. Rotting. Forgotten.” His head turned slightly, just enough for you to catch the flicker of a smile — sharp, jagged, and devoid of warmth. “Tell me, doesn’t it make you wonder? What would it take to fix it?”

When you didn’t immediately move, he turned to you, his lips curling in a dangerous smirk. His hand reached out, and before you could recoil, his fingers cupped your chin. He handled you with surprising care, his grip just firm enough to hold you in place. His index finger hovered, careful not to touch, an ever-present reminder of the destruction he could unleash with a single mistake. The fragility of the moment — the closeness of death itself — made your throat tighten.

“Look,” he ordered, tilting your face toward the sprawling wasteland below. His sharp nails grazed your jaw, sending a cold shiver through you. 

The world stretched out before you, endless in its desolation. Twisted skeletons of buildings jutted out of the earth like ribs, the Deadlands smothered under layers of ash and soot. The faint orange glow of fires burned in Musutafu Dreg in the distance, a mocking parody of life.

“This could all change,” Tomura uttered, his voice soft but filled with an unrelenting edge. His eyes glinted with something you couldn’t name — obsession, hunger, perhaps madness. “It could all end.”

Your lips parted, but no sound came. 

Shigaraki’s breath brushed against your ear as he whispered, “Your blood.” He said the word like it was sacred, his voice trembling with reverence and rage. “You could be the cure. The answer to everything.”

His hand tightened slightly, forcing your gaze back to him. “Do you even understand what that means? You could fix this— fix me. Fix all of it. But instead, you want to refuse me?” His tone cracked on the last word, his fury bubbling beneath the surface. The thin veneer of calm he wore threatened to splinter entirely. “I’ve offered you everything,” he continued, his voice rising. The ash-filled wind stirred, swirling around the balcony like the world itself was reacting to his anger. “Power. Protection. Purpose. And you want to throw it away? For what?” Shigaraki’s tone was venomous now, each word a lash. “A rebellion that’s already dying? A life you can’t even call your own? Or maybe—” His lips twisted into a sneer, his voice dipping into something dangerously low, “—it’s for him. The traitor who thinks he loves you.”

Your heart stuttered at the mention of Dabi, the faintest flutter betraying you, and Shigaraki saw it. Of course he did.

His smile widened, sharp and cruel. “Oh, I see it now,” he breathed, his voice like a blade sliding through silk as he leant closer, his breath ghosting over your ear. “Dabi’s embers flicker for you, don’t they? A pathetic little flame, desperately clinging to life.” His laugh was low and venomous, rattling your nerves. “Embers always die out.” He tilted your head roughly, forcing you to look out over the Deadlands below and the Dreg on the horizon. “And when his flame finally burns away,” he uttered, his voice dripping with cruel satisfaction, “this will be all that’s left. Ash. Dust. Ruin.” 

His tongue darted out, dragging a slow, long stripe across your cheek. The motion was agonizingly unhurried, his breath hot against your skin. 

Revulsion churned in your stomach as the slick trail of his saliva clung to your flesh, cold and sticky in its wake. The nausea rose sharp and sudden, clawing at your throat as your body recoiled from the grotesque intimacy of the gesture. You wanted to vomit, to scrub away the violation, but his presence pinned you in place, suffocating and inescapable.

You jerked your head back, trying to escape his grip, but his other hand shot forward, fingers hovering near your throat. All five of them — so dangerously close to touching your flesh — stilled you instantly. 

“He’ll fail you,” Shigaraki stated matter-of-factly, his tone softening, but not with kindness. It dripped with mockery, each word a needle pressing deeper into your chest. His thumb traced the edge of your jaw as his long, pale index finger ghosted over your cheek. “Like he failed Sangreal. Like he failed me. It’s in his nature. And when he does,” the vampire prince whispered, his lips brushing the corner of your mouth, “you’ll come crawling back. Because no one else can give you what you need. Not him. Not the rebellion. Just me.”

You swallowed hard, willing your voice to stay steady. “I don’t want to be your queen, Shigaraki.”

“You don’t understand yet. But you will,” his lips twitched into a sharp, jagged grin that didn’t reach his eyes. 

Before you could react, his lips collided with yours, a brutal, forceful act that left no room for tenderness. It wasn’t a kiss — it was an invasion, his sharp teeth clicking against yours as his fangs scraped along your bottom lip, slow and deliberate, until the skin gave way. A bead of blood welled up, its coppery tang mingling with the icy, metallic chill of his breath. His grip on your chin tightened, unyielding and cruel, as you stood frozen in place. 

He broke the kiss abruptly, his lips pulling away with a sharp, wet sound, and you stumbled back, your knees trembling beneath you. The faint sting on your lip told you he’d drawn blood, and the way his tongue darted out to drag across his lips made your stomach churn. His crimson eyes gleamed with something feral, something unhinged, as he savored the taste.

“For the Night of Ash’s sake,” Shigaraki hissed, his voice trembling with barely-contained hunger, “your blood drives me insane.”

His hand hovered near your face for a moment, as though he were considering dragging you back into his grasp, but instead, he turned abruptly, his gaze cutting toward the horizon. The meager lights of Musutafu flickered in the distance, like dying embers fighting for survival.

“When the world tears you apart for refusing me,” the vampire prince stated, his voice dropping into a rasp that oozed malice, “you’ll understand. You’ll understand everything.”

The ash-laden wind roared again, and the faint glow of the Dreg in the distance flickered weakly as though the light itself was suffocating under Shigaraki’s rule.

I'm excited to share a teaser for my new series, Sangreal. The story narrates the tale of vampire Dabi, who is enlisted as a Hunter in the prestigious vampire guild, Sangreal; a female protagonist whose unique blood is the world's sole hope following the catastrophic Night of Ash; Aizawa's insurrection against a tyrannical vampire regime, and the rise of vampire prince Shigaraki - a powerful vampire created by AFO's virus that annihilated humanity.

The series will incorporate a blend of horror and thriller elements, along with some smut and plenty of dark content. The first chapter is scheduled to be published in the first half of February, or possibly a little earlier if I can manage (this is just an estimated timeframe).

Over the past few weeks, I've been working hard to develop the concept for Sangreal, and I sincerely hope you'll enjoy the story. It has come to the attention of I and many others that there has been some disrespect going on between Tumblr users who like to draw ship art of the Eddsworld characters and those who do not like to see certain ships. I will not name names or point fingers, but this needs to be addressed. Making art of these ships is absolutely okay to do as long as it is not problematic! We want Tumblr to be a safe place for those who use it as their outlet for art.

To any newcomers entering the Eddsworld fandom: most of us Eddhead veterans are in our late teens or early twenties so most of us are adults. WE'VE BEEN THROUGH THE WRINGER AND WE KNOW THE DRILL:

The fictional characters are not the real people, so yes, it is okay to ship the fictional characters. We know the difference between the fictional characters and the real people.

DO NOT bash those who ship certain characters together. DO NOT comment on a post of ship art you don't like just to tell the artist you don't like it. They spent a lot of time making that and it is very disrespectful to the artist. They have every right to take offense to your comment. Even if you were to say "Nice art but I don't ship it" is still considered disrespectful.

If you see something you don't like either scroll past it, filter out the tags, or block the person. It's really that simple! You do not have to interact with the art or the artist.

Also, T.H.I.N.K. before you speak, please! What has been said many times before needs to be said again.

About a year ago, I made the decision to start writing for my private blog, inspired by my first viewing of Demon Slayer. Since then, a lot has changed, and I've grown as a writer. I've had the privilege of meeting incredibly talented writers and artists, forming friendships that have endured to this day. But above all, I've been able to bring a little joy to my readers and those who trusted me with their emergency requests. A year on, with more experience and wisdom, I can confidently say that pursuing my small dream was the right choice. My outrage given voice: The Shittenou were done so dirty!

It's very damn annoying to me and I hate it! Why the hell were the Shittenou not given a chance for a 'normal' life like Usagi wished for in the 90's anime; especially with the implication of the time of the first season repeating for the second and thus meant that they hadn't been nabbed for Beryl's/Metallia's purposes? Or even in the manga/reboot rather than kept as the stones they became after their deaths?

Like, what thoughts went into that? Why were the various relationships of the Shittenou changed so drastically, and not just between each other but their Prince and their Love Interests too? Especially when Mamo got a, technically, third chance to be with Usa after the first season's finale. The girls themselves have other love interests, I know, but you'd think that they'd at least be given the option to see if they were still compatible and part (hopefully) amicably if they weren't, rather than just have the view that they'll never have love or even a family. And, no, I don't count the "Parallel" world of the manga because it seems that they're right proper clones of their mothers rather than their own persons with thoughts, feelings and dreams like Chibi is. Yes, she's annoying and a frickin' Obnoxious Brat, but at least with that we know she's not Usa's clone just with pink hair and red eyes.

I remember watching the show growing up and never, not once, thinking they used to be love interests of the Senshi during the SilMil. Just that they were at the front of the invading army once that episode aired. Not to mention how my perceptions were fucked with beforehand because two of the four were in a relationship with each other (after one of them had been 'gender-bent'. Just...why?!) and a third was romancing a side character that had disappeared after the one episode she was in during the third season. Hell, the only reason I found out Sen/Shi was a Thing was due to the internet a while after watching the 'last' (for the North America viewing audience) episode of the fourth season. That pissed me right the fuck off.

I believe that shouldn't have happened. They could've done so much foreshadowing, maybe even a bit of character development, about the tragedy that would've been the Shittenou being killed off as the season went on once the SilMil's Last Day came about.

Like, think about it.

With Jad's constant disguises and schemes, it could've been that Rei, being a trained Miko, always seemed to find and flirt with him, because he was cute no matter his disguises, and then get mad about it because why?! is it always him?! she does that with?! The fuck?! And Jad's just like, 'How the hell does she keep doing this?!' before putting together that she must be an informer to the Senshi with the way they always show up when she does so he tries to keep her distracted in one form or another so his youma can do its job because she's too passionate and fiery to want to hurt or drain despite getting in his way so much. Beryl actually kills him off after his showdown with the Senshi, not listening when he says how he knows who they are, instead of being iced for his constant failures. (I never did get why he was singled out like that.)

With Neph's civilian identity of Sanjoin Masato, instead of Naru being the 'victim' of his 'manipulations', Makoto could've been brought in earlier and get to experience being treated like the young woman she is despite how other guys were put off by her strength and stature and just discovered she could transform just as or after he died. He still dies to Zoi's schemes but it's because, due to being around his Lady so much more than Jad was with Rei, he's starting to question what once he hadn't, especially if some dormant memories he hadn't known about break loose from their shadowy bonds, and so Beryl made out that he was defecting or losing sight of their goals so she didn't have to get her hands dirty.

With Zoi, 'cause I found it real annoying that only he could extract the Nijizuishou when the Moon Wand could also track them down but not get them out, Ami could've used her palmtop to scan whatever residue might've been left on the Wand, to also help look for the Carriers as Zoi did the same with his own tracking crystal. It could go that, because she does take her duties as a Senshi seriously and she's not all about school/studying despite her grades and work ethic and she's gonna prove it, she might get in trouble for 'stalking' while Zoi's just wondering what this cute but annoying brat is doing following him where she could get hurt - the Great Demon he awoke might very well kill her! - when in all reality she's trying to get close to the Carrier but this jerk-wad with the beautiful blond waves, because those are not curls as far as I'm concerned, in a ponytail keeps getting in her way! Shenanigans are had where they try to outsmart, trick or distract each other to get to the Nijizuishou first without outing themselves or her comrades. Zoi's killed by Beryl because when Ren's revealed and Zoi takes that hit with the Ginzuishou it purified him and left him unconscious, like Mamo is later in the season, and so taken to be "healed". I was thinking of how she seemed to be the one most hovering over Mamo while he was being converted to their side. She heard Zoi's fevered ramblings after being purified of the DK's taint, heard him talk about how 'This is wrong. We're loyal to Dymi, not Beryl. We serve a Prince, not a Queen. Where is he?' and made plans because she'd rather lose the General than waste the energy re-brainwashing him while Mamo is also being brainwashed. Kunzite's not a witness, just told in the aftermath that Zoi died due to complications of whatever the newly revealed Princess had done to him to leave him weakened and "delusional". That way Kunz is kept low-key scared of what the Princess might be able to do to him if she caught him in a moment of weakness, distraction or off guard. So that he never stuck around long enough or kept far to the back so that he wasn't healed even accidentally.

With Kunz, well... we all kinda-sorta saw how many times Minako seemed to fall into his traps meant to nab Usa, not to mention their own history while she was in London. And he's killed as in canon because he would not be tricked by the images and lies the Witches from the Sky tried to force into his head, an unintended side-effect of how the SilMil's Last Day was shown, especially regarding her (Venus), into betraying his Liege; completely unknowing that he, technically, already has!

OC Fanfiction Review Exchange 2023:

There seems to be a lack of engagement in the OC Community - so, here's an attempt to help! (This will not fix all problems, but it can do a small part for some creators)

The expectation of the exchange is that you'll pick at least 3 fics and then comment on at least 5 chapters (exception: if the fic has less than 5 chapters)

Right now I'm in the data gathering part of the exchange.  

You'll be able to "sign up" for fics to read around Nov. 11-12.

The expectation is that you'll have until Dec. 31st to do the readings you signed up for.

They might have officially put the proverbial nail in the show's coffin, but that doesn't mean we can't remind the streaming services that as a fandom, we aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
