wait i know i just made a post abt jim helping zheng not get absorbed by her revenge quest but actually you could also go the opposite direction with this idea. jim seeing zheng so dedicated and focused and passionate about hunting down ricky and saying shit like “i owe it to my crew” makes jim feel guilty for not finishing their revenge quest and going “ok maybe if i do just a little bit more avenging” and their thought is that if they hunt down the siete gallos Together with their partners maybe it won’t be so bad. and then jim and zheng fueling each other’s self destructive tendencies and killing people and making out while covered in blood

I’ve finished drawing a season 2 poster just in time 😅

I still have complicated feelings about the S2 finale, mostly because I can’t really accept it as the end of OFMD. I want to see this story completed, as it was imagined by the authors ❤️‍🩹

Anyway, I’m happy we are in it together. Even if we got kinda stuck in the gravy basket for now 🥲

the reason I love ofmd is because it shows what it means to be queer and trans and neurodivergent. like that's it. everyone is a little into each other, any kind of relationship goes and there's no questioning from everyone else. their identities don't get in the way of their character arcs. jim gets to be trans and poly and there doesn't need to be 3 episodes to explain it. stede and ed? bro that's literally autism4autism. there's no male gaze or female gaze. that soft ass ponytail ed was rocking is straight up queer gaze. the love story gets to progress beyond what any queer story written for/by straight people could do and way beyond the typical hetero romance. I love the humanity of it all. I love the way people can do bad things but they can still be loved. they can be in the wrong and need to change their actions and mindsets but still be loveable. that's what makes me love it. unconditional acceptance

I don't think Oluwande and Jim broke up; I think that Jim just gained another partner. If Spanish Jackie can have 20 husbands, why can't Jim have two partners (Oluwande and Archie)?
