First days in Paris!

I'm absolutely charmed by old streets and blooming trees 🌸

Everything is unreal, almost like in French cinema ✨

It's a pity we only have one week here 😔

First impressions from Paris, as promised!

It's BIG, and after living in Tbilisi for three years, I'm a bit overwhelmed with the size of the city and how lively it looks.

Even our relatively quiet neighbourhood just outside the Périphérique is buzzing with life every evening. People drinking and talking at every café, tables on the streets, parks full of kids and runners.

I think spring might be the best time to visit Paris, because everything is blooming and it looks absolutely breathtaking 😍

I'm feeling a bit under the weather, but we still did quite a bit of walking today, exploring the city on foot.

And we haven't made it to the Louvre yet, but let's pretend we did 😅

Or at least our characters did, because kris_ris drew this cute selfie with Mona Lisa 🌝

We are in Paris! (I still can't quite believe it)

I am extremely tired, so I am going to sleep now 😪

This is it. We are leaving Georgia in the morning.

Our time exploring Sakartvelo is over 🇬🇪

We visited the most remote corners of this beautiful country.

Climbed some mountain passes,

hiked hundreds of kilometers, met quite a lot of friendly Georgian dogs 🐕

After three years, I'm still in love with these mountains and old towers!

We also found new friends here, because Georgia is full of amazing people ❤️‍🔥

I'm so grateful for our time here and hospitality of this land 🥹

It's hard to get on the move once again, but new adventures await! 🇫🇷

I found this bench with a lovely view and stopped for a quick plein air drawing ✏️

But just a few minutes later, I got the cutest company! 🐾

This cat decided that my lap was much more comfortable to sleep on than the wet bench 😸

It was quite a challenge to continue drawing, and even more of a challenge to leave when the rain started 😿

But she seemed well-kept for a stray cat, so I'm sure she knows a good place to eat and sleep.

My drawing may not be very accurate, but it's now connected to the warmest memory 😻

This week is absolutely chaotic, but I really wanted to draw a farewell plein air in Tbilisi.

It was raining all day, so I had less than an hour to draw this ^^'

(Also, my work was sabotaged by a stray cat in the cutest way possible 😅)

The city is so beautiful, sometimes it feels unreal 😍

It's like a fairytale town, with its towers and churches, colorful roofs, and balconies.

I will miss these streets and the time we spent here 💔

Do you like to travel? Since I am about to embark on a very big journey, I want to share some illustrations inspired by our previous adventures (and Snufkin!) There are a lot of bicycles because it's my favorite way to travel 🚲

Once upon a time, we went on bike trips across Austria, Finland, Sweden, and Norway...

I hope I will be able to get back on bike pretty soon! But this time, we are travelling by plane — and without a return ticket ^^'

Monday Affirmation time! 🩵

And since it's autism acceptance month, I want to talk about masking.

When I'm not alone, it's pretty hard for me to just be myself 🫠

I always control everything in social interactions — the way I smile, the way I talk, the way I move. I must not forget to make eye contact (but not for too long), I must not stim in public, I must not talk about my hyperfixations... oh no, I'm being weird again.

All of this makes me exhausted very quickly.

Masking is the reason I need so much time alone. But without it I just don't fit anywhere.

I wish one day I will be brave enough to stop hiding who I am.

Spring is coming to the mountains 🌿⛰

Last few days we were travelling around Georgia 🇬🇪

My parents came to visit because we are leaving soon, and who knows where and when we can meet again 😓

So, we revisited some favourite places and discovered some new ones.

Sakartvelo is so gorgeous in spring! 😍

We have seen snowy mountains and mighty waterfalls, ancient forests, and gardens in bloom.

I had a chance to do quick plein air drawings along the way, and I want to share some with you 💚

It's Trans Day of Visibility! 🏳️‍⚧️

And I just found an old version of Jim's affirmation.

Sometimes just being yourself is an act of bravery.

I'm so proud of all trans and nb people, because we exist in a world that tells us we are nothing.

Still there are so many wonderful queers, making amazing art, living unique lives ❤️‍🔥

Here's to us and the world that will change for the better 🥂

Everyone is making AI generated slop in studio Ghibli style now.

And we just turned a point where we can't say that AI doesn't look good.

It looks okay, but it's as pointless and harmful, as it was.

It doesn't create anything new, it only steals.

And you may say it's just a joke and it doesn't really harm anyone.

But it does. It harms hundreds of artists, who worked thousands hours to create the frames, that now are being fed to genAI. It harms millions of future artists, who won't exist anymore, because it will be impossible to make a sustainable career as an artist soon. It harms every human, because it leaves no place for human art and imagination.

It may look fun, but it is not.

We are planning to stay in Paris for a week starting April 14th.

It's my second time visiting Paris, but the first time was so long ago, I barely remember anything 😅
