Progress steps from this drawing of Ga On I just made, both in gif-format and the still images, because why not? The total time of drawing ended up being around eight hours (not inlcuding the sketch).

It still baffles me that I’m able to do this.

Insisting that if leftists all refuse to vote, the Democrats will be forced to move left and give in to all our demands is kind of like insisting that if I refuse to show up to work, my boss will be forced to give me a raise.

Like yeah, there's kind of a kernel of truth there, leftists COULD turn themselves into a voting bloc worth appealing to and strikes CAN work. But you're leaving out the massive amounts of organization, cooperation, and support that it takes, and in the meantime if I just stop showing up to work I am simply going to get fired.

Trying to get over this capitalist notion that maximizing and optimizing everything is what makes things successful, including my own health progress.

You don’t need to have maximum progress so that can be considered successful on your part. Any progress still is progress, which is great, and it deserves to be celebrated even when it looks like a “small step” because when we’re struggling everything takes way more effort to do, so a “small step” still is progress and still is something you succeed in. Take the small wins. They matter too, just as much as the bigger ones.

It’s better to go slow than to burn out by trying to improve your health. You don’t have to prove anything to anyone, healing takes time, so you don’t need to focus on getting better, or recovering or healing at an incredibly fast pace which is impossible to keep up with on a long-term basis. You’ll only become more tired. You’ll only risk getting sicker.

The small things you’ve accomplished are still accomplishments. Take it slow, take those small wins, and be compassionate towards yourself and with how much you’re struggling. Everyone has different limits and respecting yours doesn’t make you lazy because it doesn’t erase any of your efforts, it just makes you someone who knows how to rest before they get sick.

Zelink Week Day 5-6-7 - WORK IN PROGRESS🤷🏻‍♀️ Life happened, i wont be able to post finished versions of what i had planned for the next 3 Zelink prompts. 😔 I'm sorry, I really tried.

Progress steps from one of the VegasPete screenshot redraws I did. Partly to prove that, yes, they’re drawings, but also to show just how HILARIOUS the first step looks. I mean, you can still see what’s going on, but the blocky colours look RIDICULOUS.

And yes, I’m one of those who prefer to finish drawing one area completely before moving on to the next, instead of slowly building up the piece a little at a time. Which makes for some pretty funny WIP shots.
