If anyone has any good sources or advice for how to advocate for Palestinian rights without accidentally falling into antisemitic rhetoric or indirectly supporting antisemitic rhetoric that would be very much appreciated

(Please amplify Hamza as much as you can.)
Hamza Howidy in USA Today
Tumblr media
Not only were the protests ignored by "allies" in the West, but so were the lives of the protesters and all they represent.  Hamas wasted no time in going after the leaders of the protests, threatening, torturing and even killing them. The family of Oday Nasser Al Rabay, 22, says the protester was tortured to death by Hamas simply for demanding a free Gaza ‒ free from Hamas and free from war.
Where was the outrage from the "pro-Palestine movement" activists? Where were the protests in Western capitals for Oday? Nowhere. Because he did not fit into their ideological framework because his killing was not useful and too inconvenient to their narrative. Meanwhile, when a protester with a distinctly different profile - Mahmoud Khalil, a former Columbia University graduate student - finds himself detained in the United States, the pro-Palestinian activists who claim to advocate for the oppressed wasted no time in flooding Western streets with protests calling for his release. His arrest became an emblem of resistance, sparking global campaigns to bring him home.
But what about the young Palestinian from Gaza who, without the protection of international institutions, was tortured to death for his dissent? Oday was left to rot in obscurity, his brutal murder by Hamas nothing more than an inconvenient fact for the same movement that fervently defended Mahmoud.
This stark contrast is not only a failure of solidarity ‒ it's also an indictment of the hollow, opportunistic nature of the so-called pro-Palestine movement. Mahmoud, a student in the West, was elevated to the status of martyr. Oday, a young man from Gaza, was left to die at the hands of the very regime that Western allies refuse to confront. The hypocrisy is staggering.

Why does no one talk about Palestinian hostages? Why does no one talk about the fact that Israel, itself, killed many of its "dear" hostages? Why does no one talk about how brave, but scared, Palestinians are? Why is it that when there was an alleged rape to an Israeli, the whole world raged, but when it's a Palestinian, it is ok to be raped in front of family, ok to be raped by feral and rapid dogs? Why is it ok when an AUTISTIC Palestinian gets eaten alive by a dog, yet people feel sympathy for Israelis booking flight tickets to where they're actually from? Why is it ok for an Israeli to call every Arab an animal, yet when a Palestinian calls only on Israeli a monster, it is a crime?
And why does no one ask those questions?

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐘𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐝𝐞!
I hope everyone is content, with their loved ones and safe.
My heart goes out to all those who cannot have that. I haven't spoken a lot about politics on my blog but I want everyone to know that I am Pro-Palestine, that Black Lives Matter and everyone should have a roof over their head and food on the table. There are many problems in the world, pointedly in Congo and Yemen.
I want to take the time to keep these people in my thoughts and hopefully bring awareness.
I'm also sending love to those who don't feel comfortable with their family right now. Who are in their rooms because it's all too much. I want you to know that you've got this. It will get better.

Elise Stefanik, P01135809's nominee for Ambassador to the UN, just said Israel has a Biblical right to the West Bank, and refused to answer whether Palestinians have a right to self-determination.
How are you feeling now, "pro-Palestine protest voters"?
(I'm guessing pretty happy actually, at least those of you who are more self-aware about the fact that your movement is centred around the destruction of Israel/Jews/"the West", not actually helping Palestinians, even if you pretend its the same thing. Accelerationists probably think this is good because it will reignite the war/bring "The Revolution" one day closer, in their minds.)

Stayed silent on this for a while to gather my thoughts, but why are people suddenly wishing genocide on Jewish people and spewing nazi talking points in Palestine’s name??? I am 100% pro-Palestine rn but guys. The second we decide it’s okay to dehumanize a group of people, we’ve already lost. The average Israeli has nothing to do with the genocide, the average white jew from Brooklyn has nothing to do with the genocide. Attacking people who have nothing to do with this doesn’t help Palestine at all
I’ve never faced Islamophobia or antisemitism, but I’ve faced a lot of other kinds of bigotry, and to all of the jews of the world who have no say in Israel’s actions, I am so so sorry. My fellow pro-Palestine folks, we need to do better. No more bullying and hate crimes in the name of justice.

by Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib
Immediately after the horrendous October 7, 2023 massacre by Hamas, mass demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people commenced. Even before the Israeli military had launched its full-scale operation against Gaza, demonstrators took to the streets accusing Israel of genocide, refusing to acknowledge the gravity of what took place to Israeli civilians and even celebrating the massacre as an act of legitimate resistance.
This was the first strategic folly by the "pro-Palestine" movement after October 7, beginning a series of missteps and disastrous actions. There was no willingness to acknowledge the humanity of Israeli victims, who were quickly dismissed as unworthy of empathy and compassion. This dehumanization accelerated the devolution of the discourse, wasting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to drum up support for the Palestinian cause and move the needle in a way that actually serves the Palestinian people.
Tumblr media
After October 7, overt support for Hamas and the armed resistance narrative became normalized as mainstream views within the "pro-Palestine" movement. From student groups and established organizations to questionable entities, no one was willing to condemn Hamas on an ethical basis or realize the disaster that the terror group had unleashed upon Gaza.
Social media, protests, and other spaces quickly filled up with pro "resistance" symbolism that was deeply hurtful to Jews and Israelis who had just experienced the worst single-day massacre since the Holocaust. Incendiary rhetoric became the norm, and the word Zionist became a slur meaninglessly thrown around to denigrate anyone who remotely cared about Jewish safety or Israel's right to exist.

In case there is any doubt:
This blog is pro-Palestine. This blog is against antisemitism and believes you can be against the colonialism of Israel without being anti-Jewish. This blog doesn't support the Hamas but 100% believes the main terrorists are the Israeli soldiers and politicians waging war on an innocent people and there is too much focus on the Hamas and not enough on Israel soldiers aggressively killing innocents. This blog doesn't believe there is an Israel-Palestine war but there is an active genocide occurring, as "war" or "conflict" implies two equal or somewhat equal sides engaging.

the FBI was already investigating the Winder, GA school shooter a year ago and did nothing. they get onto Cop City & Pro-Palestine protestors for less than that, calling them "domestic terrorists." and you're only called that if you protest against the system.

Hey, just in case you somehow didn't realize this, I am pro-Palestine (no, that doesn't mean I'm pro-HAMAS, they're still very much a kidnapping terrorist organization). If you support what Israel is doing in any way or think it's justified, unfollow and block me right now.

I feel like literally all of these "Dont vote" posts really just outright ignore half of the voting issues on the table, instead focusing on the things where Biden and Trump ARE functionally similar. Which yeah, they are similar in foreign policy, support of police and military, and the border in mexico! and thats fucking bad! But there's also the environment (Where Biden is much better), trans and queer rights (Where Biden is much better), transportation (Where Biden is much better), and labor rights (Where Biden is INFINITELY better). And it pisses me off that if you bring up any of these you get told you dont care about the parts where Biden is as bad as Trump, that somehow I'm *OKAY* with the situation in Palestine, but not okay with my own safety being threatened as a trans woman. When in fact I have donated to Gaza funds, I have made and distributing pro-Palestine pins to everyone I know, I've been to protests, the whole shebang! Hell, I've been protesting for Palestine since BEFORE MOST OF YOU KNEW WHAT IT WAS! I've been protesting for TWENTY YEARS!!! But because I am willing to admit there's more at play than Palestine, including at least one topic (environment) which could DESTROY THE FUCKING EARTH, I'm immediately a genocide apologist. How about go fuck yourselves.
