Rhaenys in Mourning

At the beginning of the end of S1 Rhaenys is in mourning for her two children, Laenor and Laena. While the show has Laenor fake his death and leave Westeros... Rhaenys doesn't know that and blames Rhaenyra. Even years later Rhaenys still wears heavy blacks, and even more pearls. All the pearls. Her crown is much like Rhaenyra's 'everyday' crown but with the strings of pearls. The style of her fashion hasn't changed much but with more fabric and layers.

Is it not enough to be an alternative history that asks “what if instead of the Catholic-Protestant schism causing complications in Tudor England, it’s Animorphs?” that’s super horny on main, has the vibe of A Knight’s Tale, surprisingly pretty accurate historical costumes (with a few notable exceptions), and a bunch of British character actors acting absolutely wild?
