it was like nagging a petulant child. here you are with your hands on your hips, sternly glancing at the man in front of you who sat composed. his stature relaxed if it wasn't for the subtle tense of his muscles, how his eyes, despite trying to be calm— were lowkey glaring daggers at you.

"there are other source of nutrients that are considerably higher in beta-carotene-"

"those vegetables are currently out of stock. it was just convenient that this good old orange crunch is available," you replied, trying to hold back a laugh at his diverse expressions.

well, truth be told. you can find the other ingredients elsewhere, but this was what came in a clutch. aaaaaaand of course, you wouldn't miss this oppurtunity to make fun of him.

he sighs, as if HE is the one who is scolding you.

"my condition is not that serious, dear." Zayne says calmly.

"it's not my fault that you've overworked badly your eyes have been strained," you shook your head. grabbing a spoonful of the vegetable. "I wouldn't have known that if it wasn't for the nurse. were you even planning on telling me?"

Zayne softens up at your reply. muttering an apology as he drags you into his lap, "subtly" placing the spoon in your hands back at the plate. hoping that his looks would distract you from noticing his advances. no matter how ridiculous he looked like right now.

"I'm sorry, I should've informed you first."

"I know," you smiled, a bit too cheerful for his liking. smoothly grabbing back the utensil. "now say ah,"

"......hmph."

you could've almost missed it. a soft sound of puff, followed by a growing blush from his neck to ears. avoiding your gaze as he pretended he hadn't done that.

"fine, since you so insist." he deflects. taking a begrudging bite of the food.

"there there," you chuckled. patting his hair teasingly.

"we're buying other vegetables besides.... that thing after this," he grumbles, ".....and sweets."

"along with lattes." you smiled. glad he was at least (cutely) cooperating.

"now say ah-"

"I know how to eat my food, thank you."

AHHHHH the name goddess is pretty self explanatory lol, but it’s also perfect!!! And I continue to love the name Forger! It’s a type of creating and beginning so it could almost reference not only the fact that he forged the master sword but also the fact that he in a way helped forge the kingdom of Hyrule!!!

I love the names Fractal and Radiance so much and I loveee your reasons for themm!!! Also- four sword guardian uniform?? 👀👀👀

Sonata is like one of my favorite words and I love how both she and Orpheus have names related to music!! And oh boy can I just say every time I see a Greek mythology reference I am just SO EXCITED like you have no idea XD

also I love zelink so much!! So glad it’s there for all of them!! (It is there for all of them right? XD)

Eos is perfecctt and I love that her and Dawnbringer are, well, Dawn related! and the name Eos just fits her so welllll

Awakener is *chefs kiss* and I like that you referenced his powers beyond just “wind” lol! It also has a slightly more serious ring, which I love since for some reason I’ve always gotten the feeling that he took his adventure pretty seriously for the most part. Like yeah he had his silly moments but I felt like by default he was pretty responsible XD. Honestly tho I can’t even offer much reasons for why I think that it’s just vibes… and it is fitting that Tetra is Tetra; she’d like it that way lol (also the name Amberine is very interesting :o)

Engineer is simple and sweet and I love it! And Phantasma sounds so coolll!!!

ahh yes Odysseus!! I continue to love that name!! It doesn’t help that I just reread the Odyssey for school and am currently slightly in love with Epic the musical XD

alsooo Paladin I love that it has both historic references (which I just looked up lol) and is used in modern times and both definitions FIT!!! Like the original use of paladin was for any of 12 knights who were in attendance to Charlemagne and Link is Zelda’s knight and off the modern version fits perfectly to I LOVE IT!!!

and Valkyrie is so good like in Norse mythology they took the souls of the slain to Valhalla (once again I used the internet to make sure I was right my mind is like a bowl of soup with holes in it XD) and with Zelda’s connection to war as she watches so many soldiers die of course she’d pray for them and her intercession would be powerful given her lineage and role!! And then of course a Valkyrie is also a really powerful female warrior! And Zelda is definitely that too!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HOW SLAYER AND SEALER ARE SO EMOTIONLESS AND OBJECTIFYING TO SHOW HOW THEY FELT BEFORE THE CALAMITY LIKE YESSSSSSS

And Luminary!?! To reference like the best quote!!??! Every time I hear that I get a little emotional like it’s such a good start to a game!! But also how both of them have something to do with light as they bring light to Hyrule and discover it once again in themselves and each other!?! And the word Sunshine Oh. My. Goodness.
