I am out to my parents! I came out about 5 years ago now, it was my anniversary recently actually!

i came out to my dad first. i was going to his house for a different reason, but i decided to do it then because. idk. i just felt ready i guess. i sat down with him and he could tell something was up, so he asked me if there was anything i wanted to talk about and i said yes. and i told him i was nonbinary and aroace, and that i wanted to use they/them pronouns and go by a shortened version of my birth name (this was before i had decided on robin and he/they). he asked me what those things meant, with genuine curiosity because he hadnt heard of them before, so i explained it to him and he said ok! thats fine. and he said he loved me and supported me no matter what, and that it would be a bit hypocritical for him not to since he is queer himself (which i was not aware of at the time! he just assumed i knew??? hes pansexual lmao)

he did a bunch of research in his own time, watching videos by nonbinary youtubers and stuff like that. he learned how important it is for parents to facilitate social transition, so he took me to get my first gender affirming haircut a few weeks later. he also bought me my first binder, and took me shopping in the mens section for the first time. he also took me to my first pride that year! he has remained super supportive, calling me his son at work, greeting me with "hey my boy!" every time he sees me or calls me on the phone, has barely ever slipped up on my pronouns. basically, my dads a fucking legend lmao

i think a few weeks to a couple months after i told my dad, i came out to my mum. that went. not great. she was like. ok. and immediately went back to her phone. my heart just sank. she still gets my pronouns wrong 5 years later, she says often that i will always be her daughter. she even said that trans people are just mentally ill. she loves jkr and often uses terf talking points. but, she Says she supports me and isnt transphobic, and she Tries to use my pronouns so. yk. that makes everything ok /s

she also thinks that ill change my mind about being aroace when i find 'the right person'. i never told her about the queer platonic relationship i was in because i knew she would just use that against me. i had an entire year long relationship, and to this day she has no idea.

the thing is, my mum had always been a self professed supporter of the lgbtq. when i was a kid it was always "when you grow up and get a boyfriend or girlfriend" or "when you get married to your husband or wife", so i thought it would be a slam dunk. i thought, theres no way she wont accept me. but here we are. meanwhile, i had been quite nervous about telling my dad! i didnt know how he was going to react.

ok so ill start this off individually on how I think their room would look like if they have dorms in akademiya (or they do have dorm and i didn't pay attention to it orz), for niko's room, its often time messy, he struggled often witb executive dysfunction so messy room with clothes spilled around and spare trashes on his table are normal, he try to clean it out each weekend but even without them, it is still messy just with his tools, blueprints and machineries around while wanderer's room is more neat and tidy, he has things in place and even a traditional japanese tea set along with his doll and bookshelves and a few trinkets hanging around.

if they were to share a room with each other, it is messy cause wanderer has to remind niko to take out the trash or he'll forget and niko has to make sure none of wanderer's trinkets get lost in his pile of tools-- but one thing they do share is that they both love decorating it, it's filled with a few pictures they take with each other on the wall, a few flowers they other liked and small little trinkets and couple accessories they both got together, if you visit their shared dorm, you can definitely see which side belongs to who in the living room but their shared bedroom is perfectly in sync and very homey. it might not be a traditional home, but to them, it's "home" ♡

niko's favorite picture of wanderer was when he was taking "sneak" picture of him during windy days, he thought it'd give him a good laugh a little teasing-- but the way the wind makes his hair cling to his face, the annoyed expressed yet crinkled eyebrow trying to keep his hat on his head-- something about it reminds him that these flaws he's seeing right now, is a part of him most people rarely get to see and the fact he managed to capture it on film ? yea it got him a little flustered thinking about it.... damnit why is he always pretty

now wanderer isnt the type to take picture so he rarely-- if at all-- has any physical copies of niko photos, even if he does theyre mostly perfectly taken picture cause he wanted to take the best part of niko to him (which is everything but you'd never hear him admit that outloud) but the one he kept in his pocket to cheer himself up are the one that niko make silly faces at-- funnily enough, his absolutely favorite was one of the first photos he ever taken of niko, it was for niko's (new cause he lost it) student id but due to wanderer's strict and perfectionism, niko decided to annoy him by sticking out his tongue and do the "bleh" face at the last moment. he did get a mild scolding at that but wanderer didn't have the heart to to get rid of that photo cause-- fuck, it was cute...

they mostly like silly pictures of each other cause it reminded them of how lucky they are to get to see that side of them without fear 🥺

now i'm not saying they're a... "unique" couple, but they are certainly out of the norm when it comes to traditional romantic couple things - -;;

they really don't call each other endearing things like "my love, my light" or anything like that-- oh no, niko straight up calls wanderer an "asshole" or an "asshat" while wanderer calls niko a "dumbass" or "idiot".

usually, people who spared a glance would never think they're friends let alone a couple due to how they talk and address each other-- but thats it, it's pretty unique to them because both struggled so bad with being openly affectionate and properly convey their feelings verbally. so unless you're someone who understand them on a personal level (like nahida, wrio, sigewinne, ect...), it's a really strange situation of "are they or are they not" 💀

you should see the way their voice become soft and borderline melting in affection whenever they refers to each other with those names, though. they're absolutely in love with each other ♡♡

i dont knwo how to describe this but after skimming through your headcanons with the nordics, i really like how you characterise finland even though he isnt described with too much or too little detail :D in comparison to how he is canon, in a good way ^^!!!; this version of finland feels like a dull end of a knife, sure he still retains most of his traits like in canon but theres something about his actions and what he does when the rest of the nordics are there for comparison to what they would do in a scenario; if i could describe it properly, it would be something similar to sharp and blunt, sure hes good natured and considerate but at the same time he can also be intense. i apologise for going on a tangent and none of this probably makes sense but anyways live laugh finland and the rest of the nordics and everything that is good on illuminas green earth, also i really like your headcanons for everyone ( especially hong kong and the whale brothers ) in this cursed series i hope they all explode in the most kindest way of saying this, hope you have a good day ^__^

2)Now, based on your commentary on Finland's character I can tell he may probably be your favourite character and seeing that I've been looking for headcanon ideas and that I've been wanting to write more about Finland, I feel like I can make something work. Maybe a dissection of his character the way I see it.

Here goes:

In order to properly describe Finland according to my AU we first have to take a look at Finland according to Mr. Himaruya.

Canon Finland is a very dainty happy go lucky fellow. He's shown to be a bit cowardly, but very friendly. He's easy to please and generally good natured. He is however described as being a completely different way on the inside, loving more intense things like death metal and whatnot.

He's an interesting character as is, but I feel there ought to be a bit more to him.

Let's move on to my Finland.

Finland is very sweet. He's kind, very friendly and social, and super fun to be around. He's optimistic and can come across as being a happy go lucky guy. He likes to be perceived as a very soft, delicate person. He actually doesn't stick to one aesthetic for very long. He had many phases and still doesn't want to stick to anything in particular. As for the whole being a coward thing? Well, he does have a few fears, but he's more the type of guy to scream bloody murder upon seeing a spider, but would casually punch a polar bear in the throat. He sometimes feels out of place around the other Nordics, so he can relate to Iceland a lot of the time. Speaking of Iceland, Finland happens to visit him a lot for no apparent reason. He has a love of salty liquorice and sweet Danish pastries. He is also the strongest of the group, though you wouldn't be able to guess that just based on his appearance. He has just genuinely one of the cutest little white dogs and he absolutely treats her like a little princess. He happens to be a little gullible and especially tends to believe whatever Norway says.

Overall, he's sweet, strong, friendly and very trusting of the others.

i cannot even BEGIN to fathom the apocalyptic world ending situation required to make hound actually CRY cry. he doesn't know how to, he's so emotionally numb for years that even learning how to feel concrete, identifiable HAPPINESS is difficult. CRYING? he recognizes grief, with kakashi's help, he can comprehend what that is when he feels it, but to actually CRY? it doesnt happen

he doesn't cry, he might go into shock, or lock up, but he Does Not Cry. kakashi takes care of that for both of them.

💢 ANGER - what are some habits they have that will take some getting used to?

oh my god so much of what hound does and has learned is from anbu. his posture is rigid he very rarely if ever relaxes even an inch, his expression is always blank, he does not use vocal inflection properly.

hound is kind of like an echo of what they were as a child, so a lot of hound's interests and habits do eventually go back to things that they would have done as children. his snark is very biting, even mean at times. he prefers old flavors that kakashi doesnt consume as much anymore.

honestly adjusting to hound in general is difficult because, to a lot of people, he is a Different Person in Kakashi's Body. they're expecting KAKASHI even when Hound is fronting and that makes it difficult. for everyone.

hound also doesn't use contractions the amount you would expect in regular conversation, he's very stilted. someone socialize him please.

🌙 MOON - what is your oc's greatest wish? how far are they willing to go for it?

for so long hound didn't really want or feel anything that wasn't. what he was created for it wasnt within the cards for him to WANT things but when he can, oh my god when he can.

for awhile maybe he wanted obrin back but that was wrong and for a while maybe he wanted sensei again and for awhile maybe he wanted to be a person but it was all wrong and he wasn't anything until he was again.

he just wants to be a person, he wants to be a person with everything attached to it. he wants to do things he enjoys he wants to have people that love him he wants to be able to love people. he needs so much therapy to get to that point, of knowing it of acknowledging it of working towards it.

he wants to be able to feel things again, he doesnt want to be a human, he wants to be a person, and he's trying so, so hard.

at a point in time he may have considered killing kakashi for it, but he never would have, even if he could have, he never would have.

i don't know, i don't even think he knows, hound doesn't fucking know. hound isnt the type of person to consider impossibilities, he's never going to consider a true wish upon a star that could change things or provide something. hound is always going to reach for things with his own two hands, and if he cannot reach it, he will stretch until he can.

an obvious wish, for an earlier hound, might be to split, to have his own body and let kakashi have his, twins instead of alters. but, he wouldnt enjoy that wish if it came true. he MIGHT, for awhile, but it would fade, he covets kakashi in a way that obrin do not understand yet, wont for a very long amount of time. kakashi was his, his responsibility his burden his feelings his everything and he has fantasized about being separate when all he was was angry but not anymore, never anymore.

he and kakashi dont want to be separated, either of them, and that is another thing that the people in their lives will have to adjust to.

if he could make a wish, blow out the candles on a birthday cake and wonder, he might wish for peace, but hound was made for war, and such things do not come to him so easily.

☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon

hound is made for so much more than war, but it will be years before he realizes this.

hound is a caretaker, thats what he WANTS to be, that is what he is, even at his worst he cared, and that was always why he was so goddamn angry.

he's never going to be soft, or nice, or sweet, he's got terrible bedside manner, but he cares, he's kind.

Hound is matter of fact, hound is dangerous, hound is lethal, these are all truths that are not negative, or positive, they simply are. kakashi knows he is safe with hound, because he knows the lengths that hound will got to love him.

obrin wont be exposed to that for some time, and what they do see they will see through hound tending to kakashi, they will see with hound interacting with naruto.

hound is a bad man, he is a bad human, he has done terrible things and he accepts all of them, but he has done them out of care, and he will do them again for the same reason.

hound's good with people that are hurting, because he knows what it feels like to hurt that badly.

obrin first really see Hound and have their interpretation of him challenged when they happen upon him sitting on his knees in front of naruto while naruto is rambling, obviously wildly upset about something that happened at school, most likely related to sasuke, or his grades.

hound can handle this easily, hound speaks in an even tone, he is capable of distracting and talking emotions down, he does this until naruto is looking at him still teary-eyed but thinking. hound presents a new perspective, hound raises questions that naruto could not ask on his own.

"do you think that is fair?" "...no" "you are correct. it is not fair, not to either of you. there are ways to fix this, but you will have to make an effort. will you do that?"

and naruto nods, redirected and calmed while hound stands to take his hand and guide him home.

obito is better at understanding hound than rin is for a long time, but "better" does not mean he understands hound completely, and even understanding hound's point of anger does not prevent him from being prejudiced against him.

Hi!! I just wanted to let you know how much the Head Filled with Demons series means to me. My Dad also died a couple years back from COVID and he was a full time caretaker for my terminally ill mother, so when he died I’ve been her caretaker ever since. It was so isolating, I lost all my friends and had to leave college and work because keeping her alive took up my entire day every day. Things are getting better in the regards my Mom is in long term care at a facility because she outgrew what I could do alone, but I just resonate with the story beyond what I ever could have imagined. Every detail is like it cuts through me, not in a triggering way since I’m finally at a point where I’m starting to heal, but in a way that’s validating and kind of helps heal me because it provides a way to relive my experience if I had a support system at the end of it.

O hope this comes off as the compliment I mean it to be!! Your story really spoke to me and I would love to be added to the tag list for the series! If you ever need someone to talk to about your struggles or your parents, idk how much this means coming from a stranger but as someone who has lived the same experience I’ll always be here for you.

Our experience is incredibly unique. Everyone expects their parents to die before them, but never like this. First and foremost I am genuinely sorry that you had to experience that grief. Grief in any form whether it be a death or even a disconnect from a parent thats no longer around but still alive just cuts deep. When I lost my father no one explained anything to me.

I was told that you get two weeks to "properly grieve" and then you gotta get back out there. After those 2 weeks passed I remember constantly thinking "What's wrong with me? Why am I still so sad?" After 6 months, it just spiraled from there because I felt so alone. Everyone went back to their lives and I was just sitting here like "How can the world continue being normal when NOTHING is normal anymore?!"

After 2 years and some personal experiences I learned that what I was feeling was normal and worked to be more vulnerable when it comes to those things. I told myself I wanted to share those feelings because I never wanted someone to feel as empty and alone as I did.

It's been almost 10 years since I lost my father and I still miss him. Some days it still hurts just as bad as the day we lost him. Some days I just break and that's ok. All of that is ok.

I hope you know how amazing you are. Not just because you took care of your parents but also because of the strength you had to and still have to utilize everyday when it comes to those responsibilities as well the emotions you have to carry when it comes to everything involving your parents and a society that isnt quiet up to speed when it comes to grief.

Now please forgive me if some of that went off on a tangent or didnt make sense lol because of my PTSD sometimes I struggle to convey what I'm thinking. Writing these fics here has actually helped alot with that and having people on here validate and reiterate that I'm not alone in how I feel or think❤.

Obsession has nothing to do with any kind of soulmate. Feeling like someone is the one is also extremely subjective, and there are so many stories of people thinking someone was the One when it just was not true, i do not think it is sufficient to indicate anything, especially since soulmates are not even supposed to be the One in the first place.

Anyways, where were we? 😁 omg yeah one of my favorite scenes in the entire series.

I adore these pages because I think it does such a good job at displaying Aoki's inner turmoil. He's jealous per say but idk if its even really jealousy. Hes more lonely. Tengoku is the man hes fallen in love with because tengokus the only person whos ever still wanted him despite everything, yet aoki still is unwanted by him. He fell in love with tengoku because hes the only one who seemed like he could love aoki even when hes not a good boy, but tengoku doesnt love aoki. Hes in turmoil because he doesnt know if hes just grasping at straws to be loved when he hasnt earned it once again and tengoku never was the type who could love someone like aoki after seeing him or if he was wrong about tengoku all along and never was seen by him at all. I love this whirlwind of emotions Aoki faces and it makes it SOOOOO GOOD when that mf new teacher comes in and tries to help out Aoki only for tengoku to yaoi style swoop him off his feet and show he has classic seme jealousy for aoki. ITS SOO GOOD OKAY BECAUSE THE JEALOUSY MAKES AOKI FEEL NOT CRAZY ANYMORE AND SHOWS HIM THAT ACTUALLY, TENGOKU IS FUCKING CRAZY ABOUT HIM BACK AT LEAST IN SOME CAPACITY.

i LOLED when aoki was like BITCH IVE NEVER BEEN INFORMED OF THIS??? because ITS TRUE LOL TENGOKU IS THE ONE WHO CHASES AND PLAYS WITH AOKI BUT AOKI IS THE ONE WHOS SHOWN SINCERE FEELINGS TO TENGOKU WITH WISHY WASHY SCRAPS IN RETURN.

Its honestly sweet to me, because now that aoki at least knows he's in some form sincerely wanted by Tengoku its like something new has opened up. Being loved by tengoku is good for his mental health tbh (therapist prescribed) because in the same way that being unloved convinces him that hes useless and no good, being loved in a vulnerable way makes him feel a little bit less like an embarassment. Since if hes loved he must be somewhat of a good boy.

Anyways, now that Aoki knows hes somewhat special to Tengoku and has his part being satiated, we start to dive into the bits and pieces of how tengokus twisted ankle works. Things are interwoven really nicely just as Aoki's set up was. There's a scene where Tengoku simply asks Aoki to hold him tight for a few minutes and its so insanely good I cant put it here because its too many pannels but please please please read this shit that scene was so good...

Shit happens tho and new teacher is all like TENGOKU... YOU WHORE YOU SAID THAT YOU ONLY PLAY AROUND WITH PEOPLE BUT WHY ARENT YOU TREATING AOKI LIKE JUST ANOTHER BITCH?????? YOU TELLING ME HES SPECIAL? HELLL NO! THATS NOT THE TENGOKU I KNOW WHY COULDNT I BE SPECIAL AND HAD TO BE RELEGATED TO ANOTHER BITCH! and tengoku though is emotionally constipated and also refuses to admit he loves aoki to protect himself and goes ok. and kisses the new teacher to be like see aoki IS just another bitch. Aoki obviously knows in his heart its not like that but he stands up for himself.

He bitch slaps Tengoku and honestly i think this is a big reason why they work so well together. Because aoki is actually able to stand up for himself with tengoku. Aoki is so used to just taking shit because hes strong and doing things because hes strong and enduring because hes strong and doesnt want to disappoint people and must be strong or else nobody will love him. But with tengoku aoki isnt concerned about being strong and enduring anything so tengoku will love him. He wants tengokus sincere love of Aoki even when he doesnt play nice or bites his hand because he was mean to him.

Aoki gets to meet the source of Tengokus insanity and its literally because when tengoku was a kid he loved his brother and his brother got mad at him because of parental pressure etc etc and told tengoku he hates him and this made tengokus heart explode into a million jillion pieces (FAMILIAL LOVE NO INCEST) and from then on out tengoku has been unable to show love in other people properly because deep down hes terrified of not being loved back or liking the person more than they like him.

It's a lot more elioquently put in the manga as you can see, but my phone is overheating and almost exploding rn so its a bit hard to type all this out. But yes, we basically learn that aoki and tengoku compliment eachother like sour and sweet, because aoki has a problem where he struggles to be loves, while tengoku struggles to love other people properly. Atsurou Aoki is an english teacher who has some mad fuckin self esteem issues. hes our beautiful pathetic man protag and he ends up tangled up in a relationship of sorts with the school nurse, Manabu Tengoku. Its a dry premise and honestly the first volume requires you to sludge through a lot of average yaoi evil shit but please please please im begging you endure okay. i have been an oni to tengoku-er since 2019 and ive been following the development of the sequel (oni to tengoku sai) and the (now third) sequel (oni to tengoku kyuu) of this series and GOD. ILL BE REAL IM A MANIAC AND PROBABLY GOT A LOT MORE OUT OF THIS SERIES THAN THE AUTHOR INTENDED AT ALL BUT IDGAF PLEASE READ IT PERHAPS YOU CAN EXPERIENCE THE SAME ENLIGHTENING AS ME. READ MORE HAS SPOILERS BE WARNED (PART 1 CUZ OF TUMBLR IMAGE LIMIT)

this will be a little different than usual because i have a whole lot to say about aoki and tengoku. Really, a lot of this will be just talking about how and why i like their relationship so if you end up liking this you should most definately read the full manga to experience it for yourself

Despite all the fuckin bullshit of the first volume, the manga is really fucking good at interweving in its core themes and setting up the psychological basis of Aoki. Aoki was abused by his mother as a child, but i think the depiction of abuse is really realistic because even though she whittles down his self esteem and makes him feel worthless she hugs him afterwards and still is motherly towards him, this aoki doesnt hate his mother and fully cut her off per say but she is a demon to him. its pretty realistic imo where parents can do awful things but they buy you a donut and then its like ermm well.. they bought me a donut and do this in my best interest so its okay. Aoki is fucked in the head though. because he doesnt feel like he can be loved deep down and his entire career path is something he chose only because it was expected of him by his family (and his entire life is grasping at straws in an attempt to not disappoint people)

he wants more than anything to just not be an embarassment and be "worthy" of being loved. I like how this is depicted because again it feels more realistic in that he isnt outwardly a freak about it or anything he doesnt have breakdowns in public or anything thats enough to warrent himself to feel like he needs to get help. but he definately does need help of some sort because his way of thinking and the constant guilt and shame he feels is just something thats normal to him now. hes just tired and a bit worn down, but its not like anything is exceptionally bad, since humans are surprisingly adaptable and hes just lived with feeling like hes an embarassment who disappoints people his entire life so its norm.

Tengoku obviously doesnt mean it in the way aoki is taking is. but its things like this that make the themes feel well interwoven to me. Aoki doesnt look tengoku in the eye and say "i have mommy issues and feel like being an embarassment is the reason i cant be loved" but he still shows it in a way that we the audience can see he means, since we can put together aoki's lifestyle and viewpoint from his inner dialogues and flashbacks to his mother's abuse. Aoki wants more than anything else to be a good boy because only good boys can be loved. and unfortunately for aoki san this kind of means he has developed a praise kink and good boy fetish which tengoku just naturally leans towards so erm haha tengoku just pushing those buttons all willy nilly!

Tengoku isnt an idiot though, as he pursues aoki he can definately connect the dots and all that shit for how aoki ticks. This isnt exactly hard to do anyways, since aoki passively talks about himself to tengoku during non crazy scenes and its not like hes an enigma or anything because again, he thinks that the way he lives is completely normal for a guy like him. Tengoku likes aoki and chases him and aoki isnt exactly a willing participant. Tengoku likes aoki because hes a fun plaything and interesting and pure hearted and everything tengoku is not and aoki begins to form an affection for tengoku because he itches the mental illness brain damage spot by pursuing and wanting him consistently and not getting bored.

These panels are true brain damage pages because it hits upon how all aoki wants is for someone to look at him directly and still want him. His greatest wish (that he doesnt even believe could come true at the bottom of his heart) is to have someone that could see him for who he is and despite all his flaws. despite how hes useless, despite how hes not good at anything (to him), despite how hes bad at relationships, despite how he cant talk with other people, and despite what an embarassment he is, still love and want him. Seriously, I must recommend you to read this for yourself. Theres the yaoi bullshit sludge but every chapter has bits and pieces of Aoki's mindset that is an insanely good representation and depiction of how that kind of mentality and acceptance is like.

Volume 2 is where things really pick up. Yaoi sludge has been toned down to make way for FUCKING SWAG!!!! the set up for aoki's mentality is done now were onto getting into the way tengoku and aoki's personalities actually interact with eachother. Along with dipping into tengokus crazy bitch syndrome

Over this volume, were shown that actually aoki and tengoku are a good match for eachother. At least, tengoku provides something special for aoki in that he doesnt know from personal experience the feeling of needing to earn love, but because of that he bounces off well with aoki because he shows basic interest in going "well your feelings and thoughts do matter though. youre a person too". this isnt explicitly said, but its little things liks this that end up making aoki fall in love with him. Aoki falling in love with tengoku is also interesting because this is his first time actively liking someone else because its what he wants, not because its what the other person expects. Despite how terrible their relationship was at first, it set a ground where Aoki was able to create a strong connection with someone without the initial fear of disappointing them since he even didnt like tengoku at first. Honestly with the way Aoki is I think that is why hes able to love tengoku out of his volition, since he already has shown his shameful parts to him and tengoku still wants him-- in fact tengoku is the only person who has seen Aoki's shame and refused to let him go, this lets Aoki take a breather and think about what HE desires for once instead of how to keep someone with him or do whats good for the other person/not shameful.

Also a new teacher is introduced who actually is one of the many guys Tengoku had play-boyed before who became a teacher just so he could try to win tengokus love lol. but he serves as a plot device for that yaoi jealousy arc WOOOHOOOO! I love the jealousy chapter a lot though because BOTH CHARACTERS experience jealousy in their own way. I'm not sure if what Aoki experiences can be classified under jealousy or not, but ill just say it is because thats easier. The chapter is wonderfully done though because see Tengoku has always been the one who chases Aoki but also the one who reminds him that he doesnt fall in love this is just a sex playboy thing. Aoki is the one who has fallen in love and does show this by treating Tengoku specially, but Tengoku obviously doesnt reciprocate this since the way he acts at least is more like Aoki is his favorite of a bunch of toys rather than his one and only like how Aoki sees him. Aoki feels bitterness over this because he wishes he could be loved by Tengoku since Tengoku is somewhat wishy washy and gives Aoki just enough to keep hope but also smushes that hope by refusing a drop more. (this is done though bc this is fucking yaoi ofc tengoku loves aoki to bits and pieces back but tengoku is just scared of liking aoki too much and showing it too much but hold on we havent gotten to tengokus insanity yet jeeeesus christ!). Tome: So then... this too is a form of favortism is it not? 

Tome: Ekubo-chan is an evil spirit, so he shows a kind of favortism for certain people.  Ekubo:................ Reigen: Um...Wha.... Tome: He said so earlier.  Tome: Isnt that an odd thing to say? He said it was because he’s an evil spirit. | Reigen:..... Ekubo: Having favoritism for specific people is something that humans have too, you know. 

(Note: I’m not sure if theres a better word for this, but the term that’s being used is Favoritism + Preferential Treatment. Ie. treating someone better than other people, because you like them. Like a positive bias thing.)

Reigen: Tomechan, we’ve.... lets leave it at that.   Tome: Huh?

-Narration- I don’t quite understand how these two relate to each other . If I had to describe it, theyre like bastard friends that still for some reason trust one another. 

-Narration- Bastard friend (This is kind of hard to describe, but it’s a bad friend that brings out the worst in you.) Friend Employee It doesn’t really matter what you call it. What ever it you call it, it ought to be preceded by the phrase “An Important”  Whether it’s giving importance to the other... or for you yourseld to be regarded held up as important.....they seem happier around each other because for it. It’s like the calming glow of single bulb at the dark core of them both. 

Tome: So then.... one would give preferential treatment to someone they’d assigned a special importance to. I guess an evil spirit would think in that manner.  Reigen: Please kill me Tome: Evil spirits are so difficult to analyze... Ekubo: I’m being analyzed?

-Narration- The evil spirit will be back at the consultation office tomorrow. Because he has a kind of affinity towards the boss

-Narration- No one is asking him to come, and he has not obligation to be there. He does so out of a kind of favoritism, bringing a kind of caring of his own accord.  Tome: Ah....So....do you know what he smells like? -Narration- I guess this is fine Reigen:You mean Ekubo? How would I know? Ekubo is sniffing his sleeve: Cigarettes. This guy smells like cigarettes, Im pretty sure.

-Narration- As for reason? It’s because he’s an evil spirit.  (Note: Im not sure who is speaking below:) Reigen: Can I take a whiff? 

Ekubo: Wha..This idea that people have their own unique smells to people isn’t a thing. This is ridiculous,

Tome: Guys? 

Reigen: I feel like he’d should smell like cucumbers
